I've lived in Spokane for years but had never tried this place until now. It actually reminds me a lot of Round Table. The pizza has a similar flavor, and they even have an arcade area, which is a fun touch. I started with the hummus platter, which was delicious, though I wish the pita had been toasted a bit more. My pizza had buffalo sauce, which was tasty, but I would have loved twice as much sauce because it came out a little dry, so next time I'll be sure to ask for extra. That said, the crust was cooked perfectly with a nice crunch, unlike some places where it turns out spongy or underdone! The place was packed during lunch, so I can only imagine how busy dinner gets, which is a good sign that the food is fresh. The only downside was a few pesky flies while we were eating; nothing major, but some fly traps would definitely help. read more

Food was good. They were out of their white sauce which was a shame because the pizzas that sounded the best to me were with white sauce. They were able to sub sauce for me tho. Overall I thought the food was really good. I had been here before like ten years ago and they have definitely made a lot of changes to the restaurant and the food. Good changes. Met a friend here for lunch. The decor is kinda mining farming neo Western, appropriate to a place named after a rugged region in Idaho. The employees were really friendly, but I feel like our food took a long time to arrive, and they were not very busy. I love calzones, so I went for that. The stuff inside tasted overly salty, and the dough was really dry. It wasn't the worst I have had but I was kinda disappointed. Prices here are not bad, and I like you can add salad bar to just about any meal for a fairly reasonable price. I might go back if I am in the neighborhood, but wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. read more

We had such a great first visit to Selkirk Pizza & Tap House. We ordered the Hot Hawaiian and garlic mozzarella bread. Highly recommend both. The garlic bread was cheesy and much better than your standard breadsticks. Tasty marinara for dipping. The pizza did not disappoint. We loved the crust, we tend to like a thinner more crispy crust. When we were here we waited over an hour for our food. We watched people who arrived after us get served and still waited. Finally they brought out all of the food except our son's pasta and said his would be another 30 minutes. At the end they did offer to reimburse us for the meal but when we checked the reimbursement receipt they had reimbursed someone else's order and credit card. They eventually fixed it but it was a pain. We weren't really impressed with the food we did receive so I dont think we will be back any time soon. Went to a friend's granddaughter's birthday party here. There's a nice room in the back for large parties. There were pitchers of different sodas and water. The hosts ordered 10 pizzas for the group: Pepperoni, Fat Daddy, Hawaiian, Margherita and not sure what else. The ones I tried were all very good. Good flavorful crust and sauce. I was pleased to see a salad bar and had planned on purchasing it but it was very messy and needed tending. Pass! Overall, I really enjoyed the pizza and would return to try some of the other things on the menu. Last year we tried it and waited over an HOUR for our food. It was odd. I asked once or twice and they simply said, "oh it's coming". No apology even after it came after an hour! We were kinda upset. This is a great option if you find yourself in far north spokane and have a craving for pizza. Like the pizza places I grew up on, you place your order at the counter and then find your table. What's different than those 1980's pizza places, is Selkirk uses fresh ingredients and has so many options. Also, aside from beer and wine, they have a full bar set up. I ordered their version of an old fashioned and it was awesome. The pizza was solid. We had a margarita and a big boy pizza. Both excellent choices and we really thought the crust was delicious. Warning label should be attached to the Fat Daddy Calzone. Contains lots of black olives. The servers are wonderful and I've alway ls had great sandwiches and soup. The restaurant has a nice vibe and fresh ingredients and that is what saved this place from getting one star. Trash all over the floors, dirty tables, super sloppy salad bar with most ingredients nearly gone. I wanted to love this place based on the pictures but the pizza failed. When most of your pizza has bubbles all over and lacks toppings, then you pick up a slice and everything falls off. Sad. Just a sad experience. $50 for two 8" pizzas and a salad. read more

This place is a trainwreck. The pizza was just ok. The tables never got cleaned off for the duration of our visit. Screaming, running kids everywhere. Salad bar was a huge mess. The manager is a super rude. He gave me a public lecture...in front of other patrons...about violating the health code because I stood on the wrong side of the salad bar. Really...if I was, and I don't dispute that, he could have been discreet instead if trumpeting it out to the whole dining room. I was so mortified. We will never ever go back. read more
