I've lived in Spokane for years but had never tried this place until now. It actually reminds me a lot of Round Table. The pizza has a similar flavor, and they even have an arcade area, which is a fun touch. I started with the hummus platter, which was delicious, though I wish the pita had been toasted a bit more. My pizza had buffalo sauce, which was tasty, but I would have loved twice as much sauce because it came out a little dry, so next time I'll be sure to ask for extra. That said, the crust was cooked perfectly with a nice crunch, unlike some places where it turns out spongy or underdone! The place was packed during lunch, so I can only imagine how busy dinner gets, which is a good sign that the food is fresh. Food was good. They were out of their white sauce which was a shame because the pizzas that sounded the best to me were with white sauce. They were able to sub sauce for me tho. Overall I thought the food was really good. I had been here before like ten years ago and they have definitely made a lot of changes to the restaurant and the food. Good changes. When we were here we waited over an hour for our food. We watched people who arrived after us get served and still waited. Finally they brought out all of the food except our son's pasta and said his would be another 30 minutes. At the end they did offer to reimburse us for the meal but when we checked the reimbursement receipt they had reimbursed someone else's order and credit card. They eventually fixed it but it was a pain. We weren't really impressed with the food we did receive so I dont think we will be back any time soon. Went to a friend's granddaughter's birthday party here. There's a nice room in the back for large parties. There were pitchers of different sodas and water. The hosts ordered 10 pizzas for the group: Pepperoni, Fat Daddy, Hawaiian, Margherita and not sure what else. The ones I tried were all very good. Good flavorful crust and sauce. I was pleased to see a salad bar and had planned on purchasing it but it was very messy and needed tending. Pass! Overall, I really enjoyed the pizza and would return to try some of the other things on the menu. This is a great option if you find yourself in far north spokane and have a craving for pizza. Like the pizza places I grew up on, you place your order at the counter and then find your table. What's different than those 1980's pizza places, is Selkirk uses fresh ingredients and has so many options. Also, aside from beer and wine, they have a full bar set up. I ordered their version of an old fashioned and it was awesome. The pizza was solid. We had a margarita and a big boy pizza. Both excellent choices and we really thought the crust was delicious. Well, for a pizza place the pizza is ok. Ordered an Alpine, small cheese and an order of cheese bread. The Alpine pizza was...ok. It definitely looked better than it tasted...something in the ingredients was not salted and the overall taste was bland-ish. The small cheese pizza had very very minimal cheese on it. Both pizzas has crust that was just too hard to chew threw, kids couldn't eat it. The cheese bread squares were good, very soft bread, the marinara sauce was very good.
