Unfortunately I can't give this more than 1 star due to the restaurant messing up my order on back to back days for takeout. I ordered a Wilson pizza which does not have bacon or ham on it, however I was shocked that they put it on the pizza. The second day, I ordered a custom pizza and instead of jalapeños they put green bell peppers, thinking I wouldn't notice. These are expensive personal pizzas and messing these up twice in a row is unacceptable. The buffalo wings are decent - little soft and not crispy but sauce is good. Hearth baked turnover is also decent when they don't burn it (they burned it twice, once was good). Roosevelt fries are good - pretty crispy and good dipping sauces! Yuzu hop water is delicious. Overall, food is fine when they don't mess up, but their track record was not good. read more

Me and a pile of friends came to this restaurant and had the BEST experience. We ordered 4 different mental pizzas and several sides. They have many unique pizza flavors and they were all fantastic! Don't sleep on the sides they're mind blowing. GET THE FRY BREAD!! the service was excellent. We were able to meet the owners and they're the so kind and down to earth. It seems like they put their heart into this restaurant. The interior was dialed. Plenty of space to sit a big party. ANDDD if that wasn't enough the bathroom was spotless. We got a gift card to Republic pi for Christmas. We drove thirty minutes to go there for dinner. When we got there we were informed that they could not except are gift card because there system was going through an upgrade. I understand the system upgrade, but the hostess was extremely rude to us. We may have stayed there if the hostess treated us with a little respect. But after that experience we will never go back. FYI, when you inconvenience your customers like that, maybe offering a complimentary desert or 10% discount would go a long way. Instead of leaving a one star review, I'd be on here raving about how wonderful they treat there customers whom they inconvenienced. read more

My favorite spot to go to for good company and AMAZING food. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming each and every time.

Atmosphere was warm and cozy, service was good. Drinks were perfectly measured and consistently good. Food was also good. They offer a gluten free crust but no gluten free bread for sandwiches. They do NOT offer vegan cheese for the pizza..... disappointing. Because of the reduced options, I ordered a custom pizza that ended up costing over $25 instead of what others could get at $17. We're really not fans of the Flying Goat on NW Boulevard but decided to try here, their sister pub, on 29th & Grand anyway. We had a flight of regional beers and a blackberry cider. The cider was great as were several of the beers. We ordered the Community Board appetizer, which was very good. Prosciutto, soppressata, coppa, smoked mozzarella, provolone, bleu cheese, grilled crostini, unpitted olive, seasonal fruit, chutney. The grilled crostini was so good, but it would be even better if they drizzled a little EVOO over the plate. It was a meal in itself. My husband also had a cup of the Guiness stew, a favorite of his. It was full flavored with just a touch of heat, served with an herbed piece of focaccia. Service was friendly and not rushed at all. Great food! Very good service! Had to try the pickled egg since I like all things pickled! Pretty good: the banana peppers were a nice touch. Meatballs were tender with tasty marinara, drizzle of pesto and shaved Parmesan. Best thing we're the roasted Brussel Sprouts! Looked charred/burnt but wasn't! Crispy tender addictive morsels!!! The buffalo wings tasted so much like lime. When I asked the server about it, she was incredibly rude and said there's no lime. We could not eat them because they were so disgusting and such a strong lime taste. Finally, as we were asking for our check to just leave, she asked the cook who said they use lime oil, but she would not take them back or refund us even though they were too gross to eat. So I'll have to try Republic Pi again: our pizza wasn't my favorite, but they have so many artisan pizzas that I am sure to find a really good one. The service was very personable and easy going. Different places to sit, depending on what you want: sports bar, adult high top, and regular tables. Generally a fun place. On our way out of Spokane my family and I grabbed lunch at Republic Pi after searching on Yelp. We had the charming Jessika serving us who was nice and helpful and checked up on us often. We had a variety of things including two of The Prudence pizzas, a 30th off Grand, and a South Hill pizza. We also had the Hangman Wings (naked) and a Qualchen Caesar Salasd and a Hatch Pickled Egg! Food: 4/5. Very good!! Nobody complains about 4/5 pizza. Gluten free crust is delicious too! The District and South Hill pizzas are very very good!! The edamame is addicting and only $7 on Happy Hour. Brussels sprouts appetizer is tasty too. Drinks: Good selection of beer and wine. Cocktails are pretty good! The blackberry sour is very sweet, but a fun treat! Aperol spritzes are perfect. Overall: Super cute inside! A bar area for 21 and up. There are TVs around but not everywhere so definitely let them know if you want to watch a game. Parking is decent.... There's a big lot but there's lots of businesses. Stopped here for a spontaneous lunch and I'm so glad we did. We shared the Cobb salad and Wilson pizza. The salad was packed full of fresh ingredients and the house made Gorgonzola dressing was soo good! The pizza had smoked chicken, thinly sliced Yukon gold potatoes, green onions, and roasted garlic. Fantastic pizza! 30th off Grand has pretty hefty meat taste and it's so flavorful. I also really enjoyed the Pi salad! Went here for restaurant week. Because of the Covid surge we decided to sit outside. The restaurant has a small outdoor patio that can seat about 7-8 groups. You can access the menu online before ordering. Service was quick. The best part was the food. I had the South Hill pizza which comes with a mound of rocket (arugula) piled on top. The flavor was delicious, delightful and delovely. Their pizzas will feed two people although, if you are hungry, you can probably eat a whole one. There is ample parking although I have seen the lower parking lot completely full. Definitely worth a visit if you crave thin crust flavorful pizza. read more

Just called to place a takeout order and was told they were not taking to go orders because "Mother's Day is the busiest day of the year and they were prioritizing dine in customers." However when I asked if there was a wait to get seated the guy responded "no, hop on down". So, not busy at the time. 1. As a customer looking to give a local company business it was a bit off putting to be told that I would only be a priority if I dined in. 2. The option of waiting a bit longer for a take out order because of the anticipated crowd would have been better than flat out turning a paying customer away. Pretty dissappointing. read more

I drove my wife to her hair appointment on the south hill and afterwards we decided to eat at Republic Pi. The building is off grand and next to Manito Tap house. Inside is nice and clean. The lighting is a little on the dark side but left a nice ambiance. We ordered the Wilson pizza, great flavor! My wife commented on the great flavor as well. The pie is thin crust and just enough to share for two.. sometimes it's hard to gulp down the idea of an18$ dollar pizza. these are the days tho. We both had a pint of amber beer which went well with the flavorful pizza. The service was quick pizza was out pretty fast also. We came here around 1:50 on a Thursday afternoon. We were sat a couple minutes later and no one came over until after 2pm to take our order. We got the Roosevelt fries, edamame, pi bites, Caesar salad, BLT and liberty salad. Roosevelt fries were delicious! I really liked the batter and the bbq-the sriracha and blue cheese sauce was not for me-too spicy! Edamame was surprising one of my most favorite foods! Loved the flavor, good portion and served warm! The pi bites were disappointing to me. I thought they needed salt and I didn't like the beer cheese sauce. These are not something I would order again and my mom and sister love them! I got the liberty salad and it was quite tasty! The belt was also very delicious! I didn't try the Caesar salad and it looked good. Service wasn't great because there was only one person working of st least that's what it looked like. He didn't give us happy hour prices even though we ordered after 2pm, that was annoying. Supremely disappointing experience. As always I had high hopes but walked away unsatisfied. Everything about the place told me I was unwelcome from the menu with the less than cute and undescriptive dish names to the smug indifference of the server. Naming your menu items after streets and locations has been done. It's a lazy way to make a menu--instead of something thoughtful or descriptive let's just open up Google Maps. It's bad, too when I mispronounce one of the pretentious sauce names and get an indignant correction from the server. The ambiance was fine and the place was very clean which I always appreciate and was the prime reason this was not a one star review. The pizzas themselves are hand tossed and come only in one size. The dough is hand stretched and ROUND instead of OVAL which ranks these guys higher than a few upstarts in Spokane. Direct baking (on the oven deck) usually bodes well but not this time. The crust was okay but not memorable and it was under topped, under baked, and over priced. For the money we paid we felt it a poor value; we should not have left hungry. The bright spot of our visit was the Pi Bites which are breadsticks cut into pieces and deep fried. Super tasty but even these came with a dark side in that the beer cheese sauce they were served with had a decidedly stale & refrigerated taste. High hopes dashed again. That was the long answer. The short answer? There is better pizza and better value elsewhere in Spokane. This is less a Republic and more an autocracy. read more
