My, my. Do I have a lot to say about this place. First of all, it was recommended by a co-worker while I was in Spokane and upon reading reviews, trusting my co-worker, and looking at the pictures, I decided to stop by. The restaurant itself is located at the bank of the river in Spokane, so it is in a nice, appealing location. The service was actually a lot faster than I had expected and at first, that made me a little bit more weary. I liked that I was able to order a slice of any of the toppings and I could order a whole pizza and have half of one kind of topping and half as another kind of topping. It allowed me to try three different toppings. The Green Goddess was excellent and I highly recommend it. The Sausage Arugula had really well made homemade sausage and I would definitely get it again. I also got the chicken pesto which was flavourful and also amazing. The pizzas were Neopolitan style and were cooked very well. Prices however are pretty steep for pizza. I had one whole pizza (two different toppings) and two slices and was close to $50. Definitely not somewhere I would go regularly because of how expensive it is, but otherwise the food is great! read more

Versalia has the absolute best gluten free pizza I've had in Spokane! The atmosphere is amazing and pleasantly surprising, as it looks quite pedestrian from the outside. Went for lunch - got seated immediately and the waitress was very attentive. The service was also very quick - got slices, caprese and house salads. I would beg to say this felt "light" - like the meal didn't feel heavy after eating which was nice. I would say fair amount of seating inside and outside on patio. Cute area within Kendall yards. We always stop by for a slice of pizza when we passed through Spokane anything that's on display is reheated in the fire stove lobby is small with a small bench that fits about four people. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. They do have sit down options inside and outside, they also have menu for selections. Next time we come through. I love that you can get pizza by the slice here, and it isn't just 3 day old pepperoni. The atmosphere is very laid back here, like having out in a friend's basement or something. But like a very nice, clean basement, meant for guests. I have tried so many things off this menu, and I have not had a bad item yet. Diverse menu, and even the stuff for veg heads and gluten free peeps is really good! Like, I didn't realize it was gluten free good. Also nice selection of beer and wine, plus non alcoholic stuff. Will forever be my favorite restaurant!! I worked here all of high school and I still come back to eat every time I'm in town! I absolutely love the pizza from this spot, the prosciutto arugula is my favorite. However the only feedback I have is that the employees frequently seem untrained or unsupervised when I dine here. The lobby area needs some dusting and cleaning and last week my Gorgonzola Salad I got to go was made with blue cheese and had no Gorgonzola, indicating that the employees are not entirely trained on what their products were or how to make them. That was after my salad was not ready with my order despite coming 15 minutes after I said I would be picking up. I was also slightly disappointed when they texted me asking for feedback, but only the link for "loved it!" Worked and the link for feedback would never load despite trying multiple times. I want to love this place since the ambience is so chic. However every time I have gone the waitstaff is incredibly rude or inattentive. This last time I went, the waitress rolled her eyes at me when I asked if something was gluten free (I have celiacs). The pizza is overpriced and definitely not safe for someone with celiacs- even if you inform them of an allergy. Ok for gluten free intolerance. This pizza was amazing-balls! We ordered a goat cheese with figs and it was absolutely divine. The combination of the figs and the goat cheese was so scrumptious. Definitely recommend! We also had the balsamic vinaigrette and Brussels sprouts. I had never had Brussel sprouts on pizza before but it was phenomenal! Sweet and salty combination that is not to be missed! I'll never look at pizza the same way after trying these two unique combinations! Service was fast during a busy dinner time (30 minute for both pizzas) and we got them to go. My husband absolutely loves the pizza and I even will praise them on the amazing mediterranean salad they had. I also like how you can order some pizzas by the slice. This would've been 5 stars but I have to say the costumer service broke the experience, the host just seemed very unhappy to be there which doesn't make for a welcoming experience. It was about 5 minutes of us sitting at our table waiting to get greeted which isn't a problem but also didn't set a good tone, the music being played was kind of sad music and didn't set a good ambiance. Definitely our go-to for pizza in Spokane. We love the location too. I love that you can get a slice or an entire pizza. My favorite pizza is thin crust with extra char on it and the pizza oven puts a really great char on their crust. I'm pretty plain with pizza as I love to taste the sauce and the crust so chicken and onion is my fave. They always crush it with amazing quality ingredients. This was one of my favorite stops in Spokane! We were taking a walk and came across this gem. We had the cáprese and small Caesar salad and a slice of the Pepe Sal pizza. Both were sooo good! Ordered a ceaser salad and it did not have ceaser dressing. It was overly dressed with oil. Should have asked for dressing on the side because this was so oily. When I asked if they had any ceaser dressing, he said they only use oil on their salads. After we got our pizza, he asked if we wanted any ranch dressing to go with the pizza. The pizza is not bad, but the service is terrible. I came with my wife, sat down at a table, and waited 15 minutes just for the menu. Then they told me I had to wait at the entrance, even though another waiter had already shown me to my table. Then, when they finally brought me the menu, we waited another 20 minutes for them to take our order. The mushrooms and sausage is such a great combination and my husband loved the pepperoni. All the pizzas are behind the glass, you select which one you want and they freshly heated up in the oven. More like 3.5 stars but let's round up because it is better than most. The Cesar salad dressing is very good. Not sure what they do (maybe anchovy ) but it's soooo good. Great location on the Spokane River. We sat outside because we had our dog. They have a nice patio with heaters and a bowl for dog water. Views of the river and the Centennial Trail.
