I purchased a 2025 Corvette Convertible from Seminole Chevrolet as a NEW vehicle at the end of October 2025. The sales staff told me that it had been used to demonstrate the available Corvette options to other dealers as it is a fairly heavily optioned car. I subsequently discovered that the bumper-to-bumper warranty actually began on August 17th, 2025; more than two months BEFORE I took delivery. After much back-and-forth with the General Sales Manager, it eventually transpired that the car had been exhibited at the Daytona Raceway and had been "put into service" at that time. That date - which normally coincides with the date a new owner takes delivery - is the one General Motors uses to start the warranty period. This was absolutely NOT disclosed at the time of sale. Had this been the case, I would certainly have expected a commensurate discount on the price of the car. As it had not been titled, it was technically still a new car, but the net effect of this is that I am now 2+ months short on the warranty that should normally accompany a new car. Despite me bringing this to the attention of Seminole Chevrolet as soon as it was discovered, neither General Motors, not it seems the dealership, is willing to find a way to remedy the situation. My email attempts to continue follow-up have been ignored. Needless to say, this has greatly soured my initially positive experience, and I cannot in good conscience recommend Seminole Chevrolet. I believe that customers should reasonably expect better treatment when spending in excess of $100K on a car. I am frankly disgusted by this duplicitous behavior and will certainly be bringing it to the attention of General Motors for their review. read more

Made appointment for oil change and tire rotation. I was assigned to Richard Nunez, assistant service manager and Mark of excellence award winner according to his business card. I told him I would wait. After more than hour of waiting, I went looking for Mr. Nunez. Told me was in a meeting, and they would tell him I was looking for him. I am 76 and I went back to waiting room and after a while fell asleep. Now approaching 2 hours, Looking for Mr. Nunez. In a meeting. Well, some of the other staff tried to help. I asked to see the service manager. You guessed it, he was in a meeting. Yes Mr. Nunez was in the meeting, with his service manager and his customer were being ignored. The service manager is Joe Decanadia. Another service agent named William came up and tried to save the day by saying my truck is almost done. I drive a car. He said it would be free of charge. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt off. The showroom was playing loud, explicit music with curse words that made the environment feel more like a nightclub than a professional business. It was uncomfortable and frankly inappropriate for a place where families and customers of all ages are expected to shop. The real issue, however, was the manager. I came in with genuine questions about a vehicle I was interested in, and instead of being helpful, he was condescending and dismissive. He spoke to me as if I didn't know anything about cars, and his tone bordered on rude. I expect professionalism and respect when making a major purchase, and unfortunately, that was not the case here. STAY AWAY!!!! the service is really bad and what makes it worse. They don't care! Let's start with the arrival. There are two service lanes both have a green arrow one is Six cars deep the other is empty. I got yelled at for parking my car in the empty lane. next the service appointment I made with a requested advisor was given to a different advisor. Took my 2013 Cruz in for a diagnosis. Everyone else gets $150 for this service. They get $249.95 and on top of that I was told it might take up to three days to get the diagnosis done. Because they are backed up. I had to go back later in the evening to retrieve somethings for work. They walked in to the service area. It was more than half empty. They said I need to replace the ABS control module. Ok. About $700 in parts at retailer like Advance or Auto Zone. They want $4000.00 to remove and replace the part. The. They want to charge me another $3 or $400 to bleed the break system. Which is part of the first job. So I declined the work And paid the $249.99 for the diagnostic. But then they have the neve to charge me another $29.99 for shop charge. Lastly if you want to pay with your credit card you will need to add an additional 3% to your total. Which should be illegal. Next time I'll by a Honda. Stay away from Seminole Chevy. I've been bringing my truck, 2019 Chevy Traverse, to Seminole Chevrolet since the day I bought it in 2019. Every service and maintenance job was done here, and for years, everything went smoothly until today. Once my extended warranty expired, I stopped going mainly because of the drive and decided to try a Firestone near my home. During a routine oil change, the technician there mentioned that my battery wasn't in great shape. It wasn't about to die, but he recommended replacing it soon. When I asked about the date on the battery, he said it was stamped "2023." That made sense Seminole Chevrolet replaced my battery in 2023 while it was still under warranty. So, I called Seminole Chevrolet on 11/1 to confirm whether the replacement battery was still covered. After being on hold for quite a while, I finally spoke with a young woman who transferred me to the Parts Department. I waited again, then spoke to another lady (I believe her name was Caroline), who told me they couldn't confirm warranty information without an invoice number and that I'd need to speak with a service advisor. She transferred me once more, and when the next representative began looking up my account, he asked to place me on a brief hold and then the call disconnected. Frustrated, I called back and spoke with the original representative. After another wait, she came back and told me I had two months left on my battery warranty. Based on that, I scheduled an appointment for today, 11/4. When I dropped off my truck, everything seemed fine until I received the call that my vehicle was ready and I went to the dealer and was told there was a charge for the battery replacement. I explained that I had been told on Saturday that the battery was still under warranty. Unfortunately, I was informed otherwise. At that point, I was exhausted from the back and forth and looking at invoices. I know what I was told, and I know my battery was replaced there in 2023. Even Firestone confirmed that the battery in my truck is the exact recommended battery model and confirmed it was a 2023 battery. I could've pressed the issue further, but I needed to get home to my kids, so I paid the invoice and left. After six years of loyalty, this experience was extremely disappointing. My advice to anyone servicing their vehicle here, keep every invoice and write down the names of everyone you speak to. Don't rely solely on their system to keep accurate records even if they assure you everything is "in the computer." It's a real letdown, especially since I was planning to trade in my truck with them later this year. Unfortunately, after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Took my Trax in for service contract work. Coolant leak with $100 deductible. No problem. Upon time to get it done, they found a way to tack on another $350 in things the "warranty didn't cover but needed doing." I needed the vehicle asap, so I said screw it, and went with it. Then they added TEN URGENT things!!!!! Except they weren't. Wanted a coolant flush, just had one done, wanted an alignment, just had it done. I'll give pictures of some of the more outrageously "I'm going to lie right to your face" URGENT!!! things. Needless to say, while my entire lineup of Turo vehicles are Chevy, I will never step foot in this snake pit again. Some things were passable, but at laughable prices, even for a stealership. $120 for an air filter? They must be charging $250/hr in labor, because I did it in 10 minutes, and that long because it took me a few minutes to realize an American vehicle needed metric sockets. So a month ago I bought a brand new 2024 Chevy traverse and I had forgotten to submit this review. I came in with a chip on my shoulder, woman alone, thinking greasy salespeople, did done a ton of research, etc., etc. I have to say they treated me with the upmost respect, they were kind, they worked with me on the deal and I felt like I got a great deal on my vehicle. I have to thank Greg the sales manager my sales person Josh, and the other salesperson that I forgot his name (so sorry!! he is new but he was able to put up with me lol), plus the finance manager who helped finish putting the deal together. I made an appointment with the robot for Monday at 10:00. I showed up and waited 15 minutes to talk to a service person who then told me it would be a week before they could even diagnose the truck. I should have been told this when I made the appointment but of course the robot can't explain this. Meanwhile my wife had driven 20 miles to pick me up. Worst dealership I have ever worked with. We were scammed into buying an extended warranty by being lied to you about what it would cover. When in fact, it covers absolutely nothing that we were promised. I had multiple complaints on my car when being serviced yet they would not look at the issues because they "ran out of time". the finance manager wanted to get me out of my current car and put me into a new car and made all sorts of promises about what he would offer me for my current car and how he will call me and we haven't heard a single word from the dealership since. I was supposed to meet with the GM and drove 45 minutes to get there only to be told when I arrived that she left for a "family emergency" Now my 2023 traverse is out of warranty and their amazing extended warranty is useless for what I need done. After calling I'm told "we don't care" by the supposed general manager Steve and that it would take 2 weeks to even look at the truck. Immediately came and had my truck towed elsewhere. Time is money and they won't get either of mine. They should fire GM Steve and manager Joe and others not cut for the job. Stay away at all costs there is a reason for the low rating. Update: Upon showing up to pick my truck with with my tow driver, both Steve and Joe pretended they never said any of what they said on the phone. The one of the sales guy told me it was a federal law that he could not give me my credit score he could only flash it to me. That's criminal. I have a 780 credit score you guys lied so I wouldn't get a better interest rate and said I had a 690 credit score that is absolutely disgusting I've called back to ask for this information. Do not waste your money and do not buy a Chevy because of these people I would pay people to not go to this dealer with how much they scam you the guy laughed at me on the phone talk down to me multiple times. I have tried to take my car back in to trade back in just to get out of it and they talk so highly of such a good deal I got, but they won't take the car back for a reasonable sale price this is exactly why people hate dealerships. This is exactly why people don't want to buy new cars anymore because of the line that happens with the sales the line that happens with the finance managers they're just liars. They scam you left and right they lie about your credit score so make sure you go to the bank and get your credit score. I had pulled up showing my credit scores talk to multiple banks what my credit score was, and of course, the sales manager and the finance manager completely scammed me, and talked to me and coerced me into this was such a good deal when they lied and got me out of a qualified buyers, low percentage rate just cause they scammed my credit score to say it was lower. I am now refinancing through the bank and saving about three to $4000 and my payment term is shortening but they still got me from the start these people play with your money and your finances and they don't care about you once they get you to sign the dotted line. They treat you like dog crap. The guy that I spoke to tried to put it in my face that he is done this for 32 years, which is hysterical that he's been ripping people off for 32 years and lying about federal law stating that he and no dealers give you your credit report they just flash it to you and then hide it. This dealership has already retaliated against me multiple times. I am now in process of documenting all of the misinformation this dealership and it's employees keep dishing out if you have any documents and proof of their wrongdoing please comment on this and you'll be a part of a class action lawsuit. read more

I was ok with that but only wanted to buy a GM extended warranty. He said OK, and gave me a price, during our conversation I said three times I only wanted a GM warranty not a 3rd party warranty. Customer service is terrible. First they make you fill out paperwork for dropping your car/truck off because your service advisor can't be bothered to help you. Then you wait 2 hrs to get a call. All I need was an oil change, my apple car play updated for the new iPhone and my rear view mirror is defective under warranty. They could not be bothered to look up the warranty and order a new one nor look at my apple car play only that I have to bring it back and they might have it for two days. No one could help me or look into anything. Instead they kicked me out for asking, why no one can do their job! I needed someone to listen to my issues and then go for a drive to see what it was doing. I showed up for the appointment on time and sat for 20 minutes in line in the car waiting for someone to acknowledge that I was there, on time for my appointment. No one ever showed so I left. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this place really drove me nuts, a week later I'm still burned up about it. My car's clicker/key fob has been on the fritz. The lock button stopped working a while ago, now the unlock button quit working too. Since other buttons (trunk, alarm) and the other fob worked too (for a while but then had the same problems), I decided to order new fobs. I called and only one fob was in so they ordered a new fob and said it would be in on Thursday. I made an appointment at 1:30 and they said that should be perfect. When I got there they said they only had one and would need to order another. So I rehashed the plan from Tuesday and they found the order but it hadn't come in, ok. I get it. I called a few days later to make sure it was in and get a new appointment- here's when things went south big time. The man I spoke with said the second fob was already there when I was in on Thursday! But we set a new appointment anyway. When I got there I waited for a while then wandered around the service area. They couldn't find my appointment or anything about me. They sent me across the way to get the fobs from parts. Parts told me Service had to write something up and came over with me to explain. Service began recollect all my info, and then asked who had diagnosed my fob was the problem it could be blah blah blah, but if I wanted to spend $130 to get the fobs programmed (plus the cost of fobs) even though it could not be the issue that was up to me. After this I gave up and went home. I wasn't going to be mansplained these dang fobs and their issues after trying for a week to give them my money. Parts department was great. Service department was awful. If I could only interact with Parts I'd go back. read more
