    Thai street ramen

Was looking for a restaurant close to the river with a view, and then happened upon this joint. It's a really nice restaurant both inside and out. Servers were personable and friendly and fast. And the food--so delicious! Got the pad see ew prix fixe with the slaw, the braised beef noodle soup, and the Thai street ramen. All of the dishes were incredibly flavorful. The soup tasted a little like pho and had lots of braised beef. The pad see ew was one of our favorites for sure, and the slaw was light and refreshing. I also got the elephant pants mocktail-passion fruit mint and lime deliciousness and not to sweet. Only in the area for 4 days and family is considering going back for more!

Sen is one of those places you hope is as good as their reputation. It's close to where we live and offers a menu we like. Sadly ... - Three of our four entrees were bland. Fried rice dish was very uninteresting, no condiments on the table to help out. This may be a place where you need to order the unusual dishes, or the hot pot. - Service was subpar. Three of four drink orders were forgotten at the bar for quite a while after the first one was delivered. Three of four entrees came out fifteen minutes after the first one. We weren't asked if we wanted more drinks. Wasn't busy and there were several employees at work. - Very nice space, inside and outside with river views.

This little gem is amazing!Hands Down. It is a mom-and-pop restaurant with an amazing view that provides lake scenery.Additionally, the servers are very kind who also helped us take photos! The food though, it absolutely awesome! It is traditional thai food that offers a comforting and quaint experience!I hope to visit this local treasure again in the future!

We were celebrating a graduation and this was our first time here. I'm so glad we chose this place!! The menu was impressive! Not too overwhelming but had a lot of great choices. The portions were huge. The drinks were very flavorful with a good kick. The service was great and everyone was so nice! I am definitely looking forward to coming back soon! 10/10

The hot pot here was incredible! I've had hot pot before but never Thai hot pot and it did not disappoint. They had a parking lot right outside making it super easy to park and get to the spot right by the river. The staff were friendly and sat us at a hot pot table immediately. The flavor bombs we added (the curry and tom yum) were so tasty and really elevated the soups. Between the two the curry was our favorite. The veggies were super plentiful and the meat we ordered was perfectly cooked in the soups. The dipping sauces were also fantastic. Sen Thai was incredible and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Bend!

Super yummy authentic Thai and great ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was slow and not due to it being extremely busy.

This review is for the dine in experience. Overall it was quite refreshing to find every menu item that I've tried during my last 3 visits have been exceptional. This also includes the River facing location as well as great service. I've also tried the hot pot which was a good experience but for the price per person it felt way overpriced for the food that I tried. I might not try it again at Sen. Otherwise one of my favorite restaurants in Bend!

One of my favorite meals in Bend! The food was delicious but I really have to shout out to the Laab is All You Need cocktail which was just so unique and GOOD. My friends and I ordered: - Pode Pia Soh Tod (eggrolls w/ Chinese sausage) - prob our least favorite - Hed Kem Tong (crispy enoki mushrooms) - very good! - Pad Phik Khing w/ Chicken (rice w/ beans) - very flavorful! - Guay Teow Mun Goong (noodles) - our favorite of the bunch! So yummy! The space is very classy at overlooks the river with great views, and just had a lovely inviting vibe. Service was solid (especially shout out to the excellent bartender!). This was just such a lovely meal in a great space. Definitely recommend!

Sen is a classy high end Asian restaurant with innovative, delicious food and very reasonable prices. The restaurant is right in the center of Bend, with a beautiful interior and river views. There is a full bar with interesting craft cocktails (definitely try the Laab is All You Need). So many restaurants have the same old same old menu. Not Sen. Everything is unique with interesting combination of ingredients and flavors. It's best to order "family style" you everyone can try several things. Great upscale option in central Bend.

This place was cool!! You will need a reservation if it's nice outside! Outside was nice to sit at. We got garlic green bean, so yummy! Drunken noodles and the spicy Thai dish was also yummy!!! The drinks were really good. The service was cohesive and friendly. One server knew the menu very well and suggested some drinks!

    jan 17, 2024 - Jaew Hon Hot Pot; 3/5
    Fanny W.

Pros: + Friendly and accommodating servers + Spacious seating with beautiful views What We Ordered: + Gai Tod Gratiem; 5/5 + Guay Teow Neau; 3/5 + Jaew Hon Hot Pot; 3/5 The crunch on the crispy fried boneless chicken (GAI TOD GRATIEM) was phenomenal. I ordered the Jaew Hon Hot Pot, which came with their killer Jaew sauce. Loved the sauce! The sliced ribeye was thicker than your usual hot pot spot, which made the meal more substantial. However, it was lacking in veggies, and overall, was decent but not amazing. My boyfriend got the Guay Teow Neau, a beef brisket broth noodle soup. He thought his dish was just ok. They were kind enough to let me split the check since I needed it for expensing reasons. Otherwise, split checks are not allowed. Might come back to try other dishes if I'm in Bend, but I'd like to try their other restaurant, Wild Rose, first.

Average Thai food. Everything better at Wild Rose. Smaller portions. Less flavorful! Cold ambience!

I'm not a huge northern Thai person. I love a great bowl of noodles the way they were meant to be and realistically that's cheap. A lot of people try to fancy up a lot of these dishes and elevate the ingredients and the presentation and the ambience but really and truly this isn't what I look for in good pad. Thai and pad kee mao. I just want it done right authentic as possible fresh ingredients and as big a portion as I can possibly find. I think they did a great job of all that here and I really didn't regret coming here instead of the other place that I'm sure you'll see around the corner. Not to disrespect other place. It look delicious and I'm sure we'll try it there again but for this trip, we were very happy with the noodle dishes. They have here great taste great color, very fresh and good portion.

Bai Tong on Wheels - DoorDash Delivery - Bend, Oregon…read more The food was delivered lightning fast, only 16 minutes from DoorDash order confirmation to tasty food at my door. The packaging was neat and secure, with no messy curry spills. This was my first time ordering from Bai Tong on Wheels, and when I unpacked everything I was a little underwhelmed by the portion size of the red curry. But once I plated it with rice, the bowl looked mostly full. It was warm, smelled great, and once I started eating, my impression kept improving. The curry was rich and creamy with just a touch of heat, the chicken was flavorful, and the rice was perfectly cooked. I also ordered a small side of shrimp, which turned out to be very good. Tender and tasty comes to mind, and at $5, it may be the best deal in town. **Cost:** Red Curry: $15.95 Jasmine Rice: $3.00 Shrimp Side: $5.00 Subtotal: $23.95 Express Fee: $2.99 Delivery Tip: $6.00 **Total: $34.14** By the end, this turned out to be one of the best (maybe *the* best) delivery meals I've had since moving to Bend. Bai Tong on Wheels is definitely in the win column.
