This place has been serving the Mac Groveland crowd forever. For the longest time, this was the only place to get bubble tea in this part of town and I was an off and on regular. Lately though, since the tea source is no longer in Highland, here is where I go for my teas. See that "Sencha" book in my pics? That's their tea bible. It has so many teas. Want to know how to steep the teas? They make it easy! Each label talks about the teas and how they taste and if there are added benefits. Plus, it tells you how you should steep them. I tried the mushroom today. Earthy and chocolaty and perfect on this chilly afternoon. The others have caffeine so I will be trying one of those, after I have my morning coffee of course. Plus they support local artists. Artwork, always changing, hangs from the walls of this place for you to purchase and bring home. A cozy little campus feeling place. Parking can be tricky but something usually opens up.

Wizzards witchcraft and hogwarts themed tea! Amazing little place off grand east street parking. Cozy little spot for tea and getting your work done! First timer of the experience called boba. As it's my ,first time, I was walk-through a step-by-step to make my own personal drink from the ingredients and different tea's I decided to fill my cup with tapioca and mangos. I went with a little bit of lemon to add to citrus to the tea. I chose a black tea that had a hint of peach in it. Overall, I made an Arnold Palmer and it was the best accident I could do. As this is my first time I appreciated them explaining what the different flavors were or different textures because I feel like it's a little overwhelming not ever trying anything! So I'm extremely grateful for that experience! Overall, I'm excited to try more and different variations of the tea's and there is no better host then Sencha! Go take a class or ask for an experience because the staff loves to help elevate your experience!

Just visited this Sencha location for the first time because I wanted to check out the Harry Potter themed drinks that they are offering. I'm a huge HP fan and the drinks and vibe did not disappoint. The whole cafe is filled with Harry Potter memorabilia and themed food in the case. I loved how the staff went the extra mile. It's a great way to get people to come in for bubble tea in the winter ! I tried the Butterbeer and it's very comparable to the Universal Studios Butterbeer drink, if not even better. It was sooo delicious. Even the whipped cream had a slight caramel taste. I absolutely loved it. I got mine frozen without bubbles but you have the option to add any toppings you wish. Definitely tempted to come again and try some of their other flavors.

Great service and affordable price. Lots of space to chat and do homework. Seems like a great little spot to hang out with friends.

I love this Sencha location, it's super cozy and they always have cute little themed events going on, such as the Harry Potter pop up! Damla is so knowledgeable about teas and I love that everything is seasonal. Lots of restaurants nearby too to grab lunch with friends after.

Came here for the Harry Potter drinks! Had a great time! A few timings to make the experience better! Would love to hear Harry Potter music fill the store!! Second, the guy working there non stopped out loud just talked trash about everything in his life and was such a buzz kill. He would be complaining to his co worker out loud and then come to the register to take an order and go right back to talking ish. Major mood killer when trying to enjoy drinks.

This place always has fun pop ups happening throughout the year and I was so excited to see that they were having a Harry Potter event. There were so many different themed drinks to try but of course I had to get the famous butterbeer with tapioca pearls. The drink was VERY sweet but still good - it tasted very similar to actual butterbeer from the universal parks! Since it is quite busy during these pop up events, the line can get a bit long. I wish there was more space for a line to form because it was confusing once we got into the shop.

They have some really nice boba drinks to choose from! This place is nice and quirky... plenty of room to sit around and enjoy your drinks with friends... they do have few cookies and sweet options to choose from... I've tried their brown sugar boba and was nice had great flavour... they do not have dedicated parking but there's street parking available.

Got the frozen taro bubble tea. Wasn't overly sweet and good flavor. Solid bubble tea just wish it had smoother texture!

This has been my favorite place since high school, and no, I don't want to talk about how many years that's been. A lot hasn't changed since then, which is great because you shouldn't mess with perfection. I've never had a bad drink here, and I've tried a lot of them. Today, I got the cookie butter latte with brown sugar crystal boba, and I think I have a new favorite. This is also a great place to meet with friends or study (I wrote a lot of papers here in college). They have consistent WiFi and it's nice and quiet, and you can't beat tea with a paper writing session. Parking is plentiful and there are good neighborhoods to walk through in the summer.

The staff are great and the options are plentiful- I especially love the fun little shop with cute erasers and whatnot. I have to be honest though that the boba is hard and un-flavorful and I find the tea to be watery. I want to love it, but I historically have felt disappointed with my drink.

My happy place as they are open until 11 pm on Friday nights! Woot woot! My new Friday low key nights involve a little candlelight yoga and then bubble tea from Sencha. In the heart of St. Paul of Grand Avenue, it's such an intimate place to come at night. The employees have always been caring and I remember long ago a gentleman helped me make a special hot tea for me when I was feeling under the weather. Tip: they have really cute gift items as of recently and creative art supplies such as pen holders, notepads and fun bubble tea earrings! If you want simple joy, come here.

It was a bit of decision fatigue before finally landing on our order. I tried the bananarama chai and my friend had their lychee matcha. They have a huge variety of beans, and they will grind them for you if you like. The shop is small, and it has that awesome coffee aroma inside and out, but their coffee is plenty expensive. Also, be warned that if you're the type of person who likes to enjoy their coffee without politics, you might be somewhat put off by the Liberal-forward vibe of this shop, what with some of the coffees being named after Liberal politicians, ie "Obama Blend" or as others have mentioned here a coffee named after Bernie Sanders. The staff at the shop were always polite enough to me, and I never experienced name calling as another reviewer did, but then I don't wear my politics on my sleeve or confront others about theirs. After all, I only went there to buy coffee, not change the world or anyone's philosophical, political, or religious views. Recently, (January 2026), I drove the 15 some-odd miles to their shop only to find they had closed that day to attend protests in a "No Work, No School, No Shopping" strike due to law enforcement activity in the cities. I enjoy supporting local small businesses, but the "Politics First, Customer Last" business model doesn't work for me. Besides, I feel like they must be doing pretty well financially if they can just close up shop unannounced without so much as a notification on their website or phone answering message to warn customers who might actually be driving a fair distance, burning real gasoline which costs real money, to buy their stuff. I liked their coffee, but it just isn't worth the expense or inconvenience to me anymore, so I go elsewhere.
