Owner and crew preform poorly, he can't keep a crew, and takes no ownership of his work. Stated his X partner gave me a contract they no longer offer but never explained that. Quotes projects much higher than others but struggles to preform basic maintenance. Told me he doesn't make money if I don't add other services, reminded him that he did my weed control until it got so out of control I had to pay another company to fix it. This company's management team is just incompetent. They refuse to honor the contract and when questioned about it they completely lied and ignored me. They always had a reason why they weren't coming out or why they had to change days or it was the weather or it was COVID but they never once adjusted the invoices. We used them for over a year and we just couldn't put up with them anymore. I recommended them to a neighbor when they first started our property and the neighbor fired them within a few months. I have put off this review for 3+ years. My landscaping project was completed Feb. 2015. Sendro Land and DESIGN suggested using a "stacked rock" border in the design of my new flowerbeds leading down to the sidewalk. My lawn has a substantial slope all the way down to the front sidewalk. I naively went with the suggestion of a "stacked rock" border. Needless to say over time the flowerbed soil continues to wash down to the front sidewalk every time it rains or watered. The lack of good soil placed by Sendro was a joke anyway. From the get-go planting anything is almost impossible. The "stacked rock' border recommended continues moving/shifting due to the constant run off when watered or it rains. The "stacked rock" border is almost level with my lawn at the top of the flowerbed design, hence, there is no room for any new soil without spilling out over the "stacked rock" border. Placing mulch is almost impossible due to the lack of height and soil in the "stacked rock" border design. If any of the rocks move or shift it is a struggle to place them back like they were. The only other recommendation was using metal edging which would of created the same problem run off problem due to slope of my lawn. A raised type flowerbed with a rock and mortar border surely would of worked much better. This design was never mentioned. Now to the plants recommended by Sendro. I requested a type of fern that would withstand the Texas heat. The holly fern used has continually burned every summer. Some of the ferns had to be removed or cut back to the ground due the location and the Texas heat. The dwarf Nadinas bushes are still the same size as the day they were planted and continue to barely survive with watering and feeding.....another poor suggestion by Sendero Land that I naively accepted. We have used them for years at our home and our office and have been very pleased! Any problems have been fixed with an easy phone call. They helped us fix some drainage in our back yard and everyone who works for them that has been on our property are very nice and helpful! read more

Extremely dissatisfied and dissapointed! They came out, quoted, took some money, started the job and took their time with the project. Communication was horrible! They would say they would come and then not show up. They were very inconsistent with scheduling the crews. Plants which we didn't want were ripped out and we were left with a mess. They brought potted plants before they installed irrigation!!!! This was during HOT weather!!! Many were small and had to be replaced before and after planting. They wrecked the lawn with skid loader. The irrigation had to be fixed a few times. They were always in a hurry. It's still not how we woukd like it. The lead guy on the project could never make decisions which added to time delay and frustration. The owner said we would be very happy when the job was done. NOT!!! We certainly haven't heard from them to ask how happy we are. Guess what... never doing business with this company again!!!! read more

From a "different" Jeff G.... I have been using them for my lawn service for at least a year now and am very happy with the service. This is the third (or maybe 4th) lawn company I have had to do my yard and they are by far the best. The also do some awesome hardscape if you have the need. I had a large flagstone walk done fall of 2012 with a new flower bed along side and it is beautiful. Very good work. read more

They have always been courteous, respectful, timely, and helpful when it comes to the care of my lawn. Their prices are fair and the attention to detail remarkable. I definitely recommend them to friends and colleagues without hesitation! With their long history with many in the Round Rock, Georgetown area, it's hard for me to believe, Jeff G. & Brad L., that they were unwilling to work with you and your needs. (Jeff G. It seems as if you're a slow learner. If a company was not doing the job I paid them to do, I certainly wouldn't continue service for 2 years!!) This will be the second year I have had them employed as my weekly yard maintenance. Started out ok. God forbid you have any requests or questions. They will tell you they're going to call back and never do. I would call back and they profusely apologize and then request to call me back again and never would. Such a strange place to do bus with. The icing on the cake was only recently when they just stopped showing up to mow all together. I called to ask them what was going on. What happened? Again, they apologize and tell me they will imediately look into it. What happens next? You guessed it! No return phone call. Even though my payments are automatically deducted from my credit card. Absolutely no respect. Probably the worst service I have ever had. In my opinion, stay away if you value your time and money. read more

Thank you David for your response. Let me clarify that many of my experience regarding customer service and very poor response. While that may be strived for it sorely misses the mark from my perspective as a customer. From incomplete initial tree installation to many follow up calls In the last 6 months regarding billing issues scheduling. I have spent way too much time following up on service that should make my life easier. You personally have missed appointments that I adjusted my work schedule to meet without a call to let me know. In fact no response til I contacted you. Your staff says they will call back but rarely does unless some one makes a big deal as I have needed to do. There is no regular or response on mowing. Even with a couple of rain days my yard should have been mowed. I had yards being mowed all around me but no one in sight from your company. And your office could never tell me when or call back. This seems to be the trend sjnce it would take you days to respond to emails sometimes. Yes you credited my card last December but the issue shouldnt have occurred in the first place. And that is the reason the service was placed on hold. Which brings me to the weeds. Yes there were weeds but the areas dead now is grass. I know a dead tree and I know dead grass. I know my neighbors didnt have any winter service and their yards look way better than mine and dont have dead patchy spots. You can say what you want but you can see how the dead spots end at my property line. Even my neighbors asked me what happened. The grass between the sidewalk and street is basically dead just at my house. Do not blame lack of winter service to justify your poor service. And in addition your new billing person is not at all accommodating and didnt follow back up either. It is also apparent your respnonse is quicker when the project is several thousand dollars vs a tree replacement. Even with a few rain days it shoulsd not take over 3 weeks to replace one tree. Just had these guys design and build an outdoor kitchen and patio area over the summer. With the weather finally cooling off, we are now able to take advantage of it and are loving it!! My husband and I met with the owner and went over some design ideas and what we were looking for in a outdoor living area. David returned with an awesome design that incorporated our ideas and some we never would have thought of. They kept in mind our current house design and incorporated native Texas plants and stonework. The construction crew was clean and finished the project on time as promised.
