Quick response. But failed to fix leak. I called them because my regular sprinkler guy found a leak, but I couldn't reach him afterwards to schedule a timely fix. This tech could not find the leak, but fixed a couple issues in the back yard. I did let him know afterwards that there was still an issue, but no response. Not feeling confident about this issue, I was able to reach my original guy and he fixed the leak - the whole reason I called here in the first place. Odd. Anyway, feels like a bit of a waste of money. Not a cheap service call for a fix that wasn't fixed. read more

He is pure example most disorganized and worst attitude guy. He is least professional I have ever seen. I took appointment from this guy for Thursday and called him to remind on Thursday morning to check the same. He acted smart that he did not remember me. I was ok with the price quoted. What set me off was Jeff's attitude. He was condescending and basically told me that nothing I wanted to do would be possible. He wasn't concerned with my vision and instead superimposed his on me. He also criticized several aspects of my home from the "non Hardinplank" siding to the lack of drainage in the yard. The bottom line is that if I am willing to pay you for a service, you should be willing to give me what I want. And don't ridicule the hand that is willing to feed you. I can't comment on their irrigation or landscape outcomes, but I will comment on their customer service. I was recommended to Price Lawn & Landscape by another lawn service as someone who could do irrigation installation. The gentleman from the lawn service said that they refer to Price anytime someone asks for a referral, so I took that as a good sign. I left a voice message inquiring about services on a Friday afternoon. The owner of this business didn't actually return my call but thought it was appropriate to text me at 9:30 pm the following Monday night with a snarky text telling me they don't do installations. While I appreciate a response and the suggestion of someone else to call instead, it's absolutely unprofessional A) to send a potential customer a text message in response to a business inquiry that wasn't made through text in the first place (I had questions and other potential work for you that I would've have been able to ask you about if you'd called), and B) to do it at 9:30 pm. I'm sure the work they do is great and that they are very busy, but if this is the first interaction, I can see why other Yelpers have given low marks for customer service. read more

I am totally confused but the negative reviews. Jeff is an amazing landscaper and fabulous to work with. Both my husband and I are extremely picky and we interviewed several landscapers. Jeff was by far the best pick! He is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in designing a beautiful landscape. His work is impeccable and his price is very competitive. He is delightful and a pleasure to be around. He is open minded when it comes to the layout and his vision is exemplary. I absolutely do not agree with any of the negative comments. I was was given their name by the irrigation guy I usually used. What a mistake! We told them we had a leak in the irrigation system. Well after 7 hours of billed labor-no fix. So they could not find any leaks, wasted a lot of time doing nothing, over billed, and caused 3 months of high water bills as we assumed paying over $500 for a repair would fix things (and we put the system on assuming it was repaired). Very disappointed with this company's service! We paid to have Christmas lights installed along the roofline, and made the mistake of paying up front. To our disappointment the lights were only partially hung and Jeff Price never completed the job. He didn't even let us know why the job wasn't finished. Even though light removal was included in the cost, we had to remove the lights! I will not do business with Price Landscaping and strongly do not recommend them to others. read more

I've reached out to Jeff several times over the years to fix various sprinkler issues I couldn't diagnose or address myself. Every time he's come out his team quickly identified the issue and fixed it quickly. They also do a whole system evaluation when they're out every couple of years to fix a couple items, replace heads to improve the system, add risers etc. to keep my system and yard their best. Their prices have always been fair and Jeff or his team are informative and make sure I understand what and why something is done. I've only used them for sprinkler work, but knowing they do landscaping too I'll be reaching back out to Jeff for that too. read more

Very disappointed in Jeff Price's service. Last summer he installed our irrigation system after we built a pool. In the past year we've had to replace several sprinkler heads because they were cheaply made. We asked Jeff to install a large palm tree that we purchased and he put a soaker line around the palm. He programmed the soaker to run every day for 10 minutes. This overwatered our palm and killed it. The palm cost us $450 and was killed by the overwatering and had to be removed. Very unhappy with this company. He is also overpriced. read more

My review is overdue I think and after reading some negative reviews of others I feel people out there also need to know there are very happy customers too! Jeff and his team completed our landscape project in Dec 2015 as planned, and my wife and I are very happy with the results which transformed both our front and back yard! He was specifically recommended to us by Round Rock Gardens when we asked about landscape work. Jeff's landscape expertise, vision, and knowledge came through quite quickly and we appreciated it. He bent over backwards to make sure the work was Quality and that the job would meet our requirements and expectations!! Jeff and his team were very attentive to all aspects of the work and excellent material selection to bring out the best in the job which included irrigation design, landscape design, boulders, river rock, rock wall and borders, expert plant selection design for TX landscapes, etc. Very reasonable on price too compared to other outfits I got quotes from - other outfits will charge you an arm and a leg just to sit down with you, but not Jeff. If you ask for something that just won't grow in the Texas heat, he will tell you that won't work. Should I be offended, or happy I didn't waste money on something that wouldn't work. I choose happy! Jeff Price of Price Lawn and Landscape is one of the very best service professionals we have ever had come to the house. He made major improvements to our irrigation system by moving some heads, replacing others with better quality product and with good advice on a change in our watering time. He also fixed our decorative fountain which had failed. His prices are extremely reasonable. In fact, he has come back twice; once to advise on the sprinkler system times and once to restore the fountain after it blew a GF switch and he did not charge for either visit. Jeff is knowledgeable on a wide range of topics. I consider him a top notch professional. As an extra bonus, he is extremely friendly. Probably would not have hired Price had I seen the previous reviews. Certainly thankful that i had not, because my experience with Jeff was extraordinary. We had a pool installed over the summer, which practically wiped out our entire sprinkler system and left what remained of our back yard in truly bad shape. In just three days, our sprinkler system was repaired and we now have the most beautiful back yard with a wide variety of plants full of year round greenery and seasonal color that Jeff hand picked.
