good morning, I just wanted to acknowledge the maintenance crew here for the work that they do. Alex- still continues to be 'ambassador' of the lane I always say as he acknowledges everyone daily by name and with pets and does the friendly greet and asks how residents are doing, plus very hard work and committed as well polite, respectful and knowledgeable with the channels of procedures if you have questions. Many of the residents speak highly of him and we are thrilled to have him as a part of the life force on the outside of office spaces. Oscar- the general consensus is that Oscar as one of the only originals since the complex opened has been outstanding and stepped up to his new role rather tremendously given all the pressures that come with a new position. Always thankful for him and his diligent work, friendliness, knowledge of operations and professionalism. Adrian- also very hard working and friendly and has great staying powers since a few have come and go. Excellent addition to the team and enjoy and appreciate his work ethics. Gifford- absolutely appreciative of him and his know how's on the job. Always prompt and enthusiastically working with great high standards. I reckon a pretty golden contribution to the maintenance crew with all of his learned experience. By far always the best working team who continually make a difference to our living experience here at Sendero. We just moved in here and so far the experience has been really great. The homes are clean and newish. The facility has a community room with games, pool table and kitchen area. You also have access to a nice pool area that has a bbq area. The staff has been really friendly and helpful and maintenance has come out quickly for the few small fixes we needed. My only complaint is that parking is terrible. Definitely recommend though. read more

Angelyne and Andre and everyone in the office have been so so helpful, and so very kind. Absolute worst place to live. Only care about the rent. Washer was broke was told they would fix it on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went. Wednesday came and went. They called me on Friday asking to renew my lease. Im like yea ok while youre asking about a lease being renewed what about this washer you were supposed to fix 3 days ago. Crickets. Speaking of crickets. HUGE rat problem. Had a fridge/freezer that stopped working. Broke stuff moving a new one in. Moved furniture they didn't put back. Refused to pay for any of my losses. Nonchalant attitude about everything. They don't care. Just want rent. That's all. Cute place but terrible customer service. Save your money and go elsewhere. Current resident. Unfortunately, my partner and i had a miserable experience through the application process. Kalista, in the office had a complete lack of knowledge in the application process and lacked all necessary communication skills. We were told by Kalista that we were going to be declined because we had reached the 72 hour deadline and were lacking a specific document. We were not told about that document until 2 hours prior to the 72 hour window closing; not to mention there was never any communication passed on there even being a deadline. Another reason Kalista said we were going to be declined was due to not being able to get ahold of 1 of my partners 4 rental references. We reached out to all references and only 1 had received a phone call. And only 1 of my 2 references had gotten a call; so it appears that was a blatant lie and excuse. Fortunately, the director, Juana was very professional and made the exception to continue with our application. We were continuously given the run around on when we would get a decision on our application. We received a call saying our application was in review by "senior management" and then Kalista proceeded to ask more clarifying questions about our application. The complete incompetency in this entire process was utterly astounding. In the end, we were still declined and Kalista could not provide us the reason for the decline. My partner and i feel a sense of relief in being declined because honestly, having to deal with this property management team for an entire year would have been a complete nightmare. If you make it through this absolutely absurd process, the townhomes do appear to be nice. I, however, would spare yourself the stress of this ridiculous process for a packed full community of townhomes. read more

Had some trouble with the dryer in my unit. Kyle and Agustin worked with my schedule which was very kind of them. They had came out in the afternoon to work on the dryer and by the evening it was fixed, as well as throughly cleaned which I appreciated a lot !! On top of that they fixed some other issues I had with my unit all in one day. They were very kind and considerate. They wore shoe covers when coming into my home, as well as explained everything they had fixed. read more

We lived in Sendero townhomes for a year and had such an enjoyable experience! To start off, Juana in the office is such a pleasure to work with! She is extremely professional, responsive, and made us feel right at home! We also just adored Daisy! Every time we came to the office or to an event she would make us feel so welcomed and my daughter was always so excited to see her and Juana! The units themselves are brand new. Beautiful stainless steel appliances, washer & dryer in unit, 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths! The living rooms are a bit narrow, although the bedrooms upstairs are SO spacious! Our model was the Bluebell which had a HUGE master bedroom & bathroom with two closets! If you have pets this is also a great place for you! They have spacious back patios with beautiful landscaping & multiple dogs parks on site. If you have children, they even have their own private park with a playground, swings, and sandbox! Throughout our time at Sendero we constantly would see Oscar the maintenance manager and his crew around property making sure everything was clean and in working order! We were always impressed with how nice the property was kept! The only downfall in our eyes was the parking situation. You are provided with a one car garage and driveway for one vehicle, unless you rent a unit with a double long driveway. They do have street parking but it can be hard to come by. The amenities were also great! They have a beautiful new pool with lots of chairs and even a BBQ. A well kept gym, and lounge area that you can rent for your own private events. They even hosted a few events for residents, providing snacks and fun giveaways. We really enjoyed our time at Sendero and are sad to go. Thankful for Juana & her great management & maintenance team and the great experience they provided us while living in Santa Rosa! read more

Do not be fooled. This place is a terrible place to live. *absolutely no parking for visitors and even tenants. There are multiple vehicles parked on the main road that are not moved and management has been informed and refuse to give a straight answer. I have had to park blocks away and I pay good money to live here. *there are up to 12+ people in one home. My neighbors are very inconsiderate and have visitors come at all hours of the night. They constantly block the entrance For the rest of the tenants to get to their driveways. I have cameras set up in front of my home and it never fails! There is always a car blocking the entrance for any other tenants to get to their homes. I checked my cameras and saw a toddler standing in front of my home sitting on my outdoor furniture at 2AM! One of my neighbors Also tried to force his way into my home thinking it was his home which I also caught on camera .he appeared very Intoxicated. *I have found many random things on the floor around the community including a machete and open beer containers. *no rules are followed here and Even though management does send emails to let the tenants know they are in violation of their contract management still does not follow up with any consequences and therefore tenants continue to do what they want. Management does nothing . SERIOUSLY NOTHING! *For the price they charge to live here you would think it would be a great experience and a great community but having been here for over a year it feels as if I live in a low income Community. When I leave for work I have to stress about the safety and security of my belongings inside of my home. If I don't find parking close enough to my home I worry about my car being vandalized or broken into and these are things I shouldn't worry about when I pay so much money to live here. *I have reported many issues to management here whether it's for maintenance issues or problems with tenants and nothing has been done at all to resolve these issues. which is why I set up my cameras. If you are planning to live here I hope you read this review before you make that decision because I strongly regret ever moving her as I'm sure many other tenants do as well. I have not had any visitors for all these reasons. The home is cheaply made and is made to impress at first glance and it is not what I expected....I didn't like my living situation before I moved here and I would GLADLY go back to what I had than to have ever moved here. With everything I have to go through here it has been a very unpleasant stay And my wife and I are counting down the days until our lease is up. I hope you found this review helpful. read more

Pros: The house was beautiful, the rooms were very spacious Nice park and dog parks Great pool, fitness and hangout center Cons: Car break ins House break ins People park like assholes People will hit your car and try to fit themselves into a spot they do not fit in Sketchy people at times, once a guy was following me. People get rage when you both signal for the parking, my boyfriend, sister and I had altercations with people and the parking situation. Parking is right next to the park where kids play soccer baseball all sports. I once got a cracked windshield. Good luck if you have more than 2 cars... no parking EVER, you get lucky if you find parking. The community drives so fast getting out of the townhome street be very careful. Many things in the townhomes break easily, like the towel holders, seemed cheaply built. A pathway that anyone can walk through is in the middle of the townhomes making it easy for people to come on to your property. When I lived there, there was tagging in the neighborhood Overall, I wanted to love the place, do not get me wrong the house was awesome, just had a lot of negative experiences there. Please invest in CAMERAS if you do choose to live here. Please do your research before committing. read more

Our power goes out every so often. There is also no parking past 3pm. The layout of this place and design was poorly made. They make you keep your trash cans in the back which no big issue but there's no back gate so you have to take your gross trash cans through your house because they don't allow you to leave it on the front porch. And just biggest issue is Parking if you have more than 2 cars good luck! Moving our after lease is up and so are majority of other people living here that I've talked to. read more

We recently moved to Santa Rosa from out of state which could have been a very stressful process but Juana was so amazing to work with and helped us every step of the way! She has great communication and is overall such a nice person to work with. Upon move in, everything in the townhome looked great and we love our unit. There were two minor maintenance issues when we moved in and Carlos came to our unit right away and fixed both issues within 15 minutes. He was knowledgeable, personable and did a great job! We have two dogs and are loving the dog park and the trail that runs through the complex. We are very happy so far! read more

Update. I moved out. A month later I still hadn't received my deposit. I got a statement stating they were charging me $1500 out of my $2500 deposit. $800 of which was to re-paint. I lived there for 7 months. The home was in great condition and did not need to be repainted. They sent the statement and no check to return the remainder of my deposit. Just a note that says 'check will arrive in 7-21 days'. Which is completely illegal. I am taking Gallagher Homes to small claims court. I still haven't received my deposit and the ones in charge at Sendero Townhomes could care less. This is a great representation of how Gallagher Homes conducts business in an illegal and dishonest manner. Taking hard earned money from their tenants. Whatever you do- DO NOT rent here. And if you move out. Take photos, document everything and be prepared to TK to court to get your money back. Spread the word so people aren't fooled into renting here. These people are completely dishonest! read more

I have been a resident of Sendero Townhomes for only 1 month and so far it has been close to a nightmare. The townhouse itself is gorgeous, but we had 3 maintenance issues within the first 2 weeks. The oven emits a chemical smell and smoke every time we use it due to the chemicals they used to clean it, our dryer doesn't dry our clothes completely if it's not a full load, and the master bedroom blinds were broken upon move in. But that isn't the nightmare I mentioned... If you have more than 2 cars, don't even bother moving here. The parking is absolutely ridiculous. In the lease we're only allowed one garage spot and one driveway spot, and if you double park in the driveway OR park on the street IN FRONT of your townhouse, Sendero Townhomes will 100% tow your car, even from out of your own driveway. It costs $300-$400 every time you get towed. The rent here is $2,945, it's in the worst part of Santa Rosa, there's NO street parking, and if you want to have family or friends over they have to park in the Food Max parking lot across the street off stony point. WE will NOT be renewing our lease here, and we'll be trying to figure out a way to end our lease early due to the ridiculous rules for parking in this complex . If you're planning on moving here, do your research, or only have 2 cars! Save yourself the stress and money and find somewhere else to move! read more

This place is terrible. Your gonna freak out over the parking and accessibility here. My main problem here has been the the AC/ventilation. The air does not move properly upstairs. All the air goes downstairs. And then, It has a mind of its own. These thermostats are "smart" thermostats so it will change your settings unless you keep it on HOLD. Then lately it started dehumidifying all the time even on HOLD. It's dry out here and this ac want to dehumidify the house now? More money lost... You have to turn the dehumidifier setting off. This thing drives me nuts. I've allowed them into my apartment several times to fix it but these people are grounds keepers. Not certified HVAC technicians. My front and back lights went out the first month I lived here. That's a circuit problem to blow all 3 lights at the same time... then I have a lightning flash on some of the inside lights. I randomly see it light up a little bit but not all the way. It's weird. It's def a circuit issue. This place was thrown together and constructed horribly. The baseboards are a half inch from the floor. The downstairs water takes on average 7 minutes to warm up. That's more money lost. And this place has a "state of the art" instant hot water heater. Upstairs shower takes about 2 minutes. The master shower is tiny and a bigger person cannot use it. They have to use the spare. There is not enough space for your dry foods and kitchenware. My kitchen vibrates and makes noises randomly, which I think is from all the underground utilities running through the neighborhood. My water bill was $150 a month bc they make you water the plants around your townhouse. The electricity was also $100 a month which is too high. I was a single person and travel a lot... your gonna screwed on your energy bill. Too many people have the small trash cans overstuffed so crows go through and spread trash everywhere. They will increase your rent when you renew your lease. And they will charge you $800 to clean your apartment. This company and staff that run it, are incredibly horrible. I have seen several peoples mirrors broken off their vehicles. I had a 2007 Avalanche I parked on the street and one day I started it up and it was shaking violently. There was no oil. I can't prove this was done here, but I strongly believe someone drained my oil which caused my engine to seize up. A couple months ago a Prius was attacked in the same spot I had been parking. The mirrors on the ground, all the lights busted out. I see the cops in this neighborhood weekly. And here recently someone in the neighborhood is shooting a gun or shooting some kind of cherry bombs off. It's someone in this neighborhood for sure Bc I hear it start and end in the neighborhood. The kids here drop shit everywhere and it doesn't get picked up. I have ants all in my apartment. Then there's a ice cream man coming through the neighborhood several times a day and people riding around on carts honking horns selling candy. And the washer and dryer being upstairs actually means your upstairs is now gonna be warmer. And there is a dryer fan that never stops running in the laundry closet... so that's more money wasted. The refrigerator takes strength to open. Granny won't be getting anything out the refrigerator without help. Seriously people they got all this shit cheap. Nothing here works proper. This apartment is horrible. And now they are threatening to have me unlawfully evicted if I don't sign a new lease. Why would you wanna move somewhere that is gonna threaten to have you evicted for simply wanting to be month to month until after the holidays which is better for me to move. I was never told you will confronted with a new lease and higher rates right after your lease ends. I'm from 2 southern states and have a big family and need to travel a lot this time of year. These people are horrible and stupid. And let's not forget the joe radota trail where we get homeless walking through our neighborhood daily. And then one way in, one way out is worthless. They should have provided another exit and more parking but they wanted to slam as many houses together as they could. Obviously I do not like this place at all. But nothing here In my review is over exaggerated or a lie. You WILL regret living here unless your simple. Oh and they recently sent out a memo that a disgruntled ex worker was breaking into houses with the master key. This place is unsafe and just like taxes, the people that actually pay get screwed over. read more

My family just recently moved here to Sendero Townhomes. Our circumstances were a bit complicated but Juana made it feel simple and easy every step of the way. She was an absolute blessing in our time of chaos/moving. Always available to explain one thing or communicating another thing, helping at any chance she could. Kiley was also extremely kind and stepped in to aid in our move-in; very thorough and friendly as well. The home is absolutely lovely! Would not recommend this community to anyone. We are literally counting down the days until our lease is up. Absolutely no parking which I don't understand as they have everyone's car registration. People not following the rules that are clearly stated in the rental agreement and when you bring it up to management nothing seems to get resolved. We know there are several Townhomes that have more people living there than is allowed and it's completely obvious. Management does nothing! It honestly feels like I'm living in a low income community. I'm not saying living in a low income community is bad if that's your situation but when your paying as much as we are to live in this place, we shouldn't have to deal with all this bs. We recently moved into a brand new Studio apartment and we were pleasantly surprised to find that every detail of the experience was clearly set up with the tenants in mind. The staff Brieana,Leslie and Maurice are very helpful and especially friendly. The security is awesome and the amenities are all new and carefully thought out with comfort and fun primary. Pool table, Big screen TVs, game table and too many to list here. The best part is the affordable rent that includes all these amenities!
