Recently used Seneca Creek for a roof replacement and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. Roof looks great and their cleanup was impeccable. A month since the replacement I have only found 1 nail. That's impressive when you see the amount of debris that comes down with a roof job. I had three quotes prior to choosing Seneca. They came back with a very fair estimate and I had several conversations with Tim who answered all my questions and dropped off enough samples for me to make a confident material decision. (color and brand) Additionally, watching them work you can see that they did a fantastic job. Handled all repairs. Reinstalled the roof dish antenna to make sure it was done correctly (another installer was going to leave it for the manufacturer) and offered an excellent warranty. One of the lower bids I received did not include the same warranty that Seneca offered because the other company was not trained and not using the full suite of GAF materials. Recommended. read more

We had our roof installed 5 years ago by a company that went bankrupt, and this summer, I was concerned our current roofing set-up was still not ventiliating the attic properly and wanted to know what options were available if we did not have soffits. I found Seneca through GAF's website, and the owner Jeff returned my call. Unfortunately they were not able to do the repairs needed, but I wanted to leave this review because I really appreciate the time he took to answer my questions and concerns, and weigh my options on what to do further with my roof. Barb and I am extremely pleased with our re-roofing project by Seneca Creek. We have a c. 1800 large, two-story home and a period log cabin, each of which needed a new roof. We were impressed by the reviews Seneca Creek had gotten and decided to give them a try when we learned that they had experience installing EcoStar, a slate look-a-like shingle. I was further impressed by project manager Tim Bissell's attention to detail in the planning and his ability to reply to our calls almost immediately. The project also included re-siding four dormers, not to mention the removal of existing 150 year-old slate as well as some 30 year-old-asphalt shingles. The siding team came first and were here four days. They came early and worked constantly all day and stayed late to cleanup - not leaving until dark. Then came the roofing team. They, soo, arrived before starting time and did not leave until it was nearly dark. They were here a week and all that time kept the yard picked up, neat and orderly after the end of each day. I would definitely recommend Seneca Creek if you are interviewing roofing and/or siding companies. In 50 years (EcoStar has a 50 year warranty!) I will call them again myself! read more

I have now used them to replace all of my wood siding with vinyl as well as replace all of my home windows. I have been absolutely satisfied with every step of the process from start to finish. I worked with Tim originally to discuss all of my siding and window options. He was kind, respectful, and most important of all, honest. The prices quoted were extremely reasonable and came in much lower than other companies I consulted for the same, or a higher, quality product. The dates the projects began were well within the estimated time frames originally given to me for both projects. Two different work crews came out for the siding and the windows, but both were courteous and took great care in their work. Both projects were completed quickly, thoroughly, and went beyond my expectations. Cleanup was absolutely perfect as well. I've used Seneca Creek twice for my Rockville home, windows then roof. I did some extensive research on quotes and warranties. On price alone Seneca Creek was close to the lowest pricing but their attentiveness, customer service and sales approach won me over. (I still get occasional pushy sales calls from some of the other companies, starts with an "L", I wish I had never called.) The whole experience with Seneca Creek from sales to install, to after sales support has been excellent. Never a moment of buyer's remorse. I'm now a couple of years after purchasing and started to see some window seal failures. I called them up, relieved they were still in business and they came right out to check on them. They found a couple of issues documented them and sent them off to the manufacturer. I was skeptical I would get anywhere with the manufacturer but Seneca Creek was on the case, and the warrantied replacement windows have been shipped. But here is the real sign of integrity and trust in a business. I asked Seneca Creek for a quote to install the replacements because this was a product failure, not an installation failure and the warranties are separate. I got a don't worry about it we'll take care of it response. AMAZING! If you are looking for windows, doors, siding or roofing, get three quotes and compare, but from my experience, I wouldn't have a second thought of using Seneca Creek in the future. read more

I've used Seneca Creek Home Improvement a few times over the years. During the blizzard of 2010 we had some minor roof damage and they took care of it. A few years later I needed a "band-aid" on a roofing issue to prevent a small leak. Both times, they came out, did the job, let me know my roof was not getting any younger, but didn't push me into doing anything more than I needed at that time. They were honest and not pushy. Flash forward to summer 2020 and I know I need to replace my roof. Seneca Creek came out to do an estimate (doing so cautiously during Covid) and provided plenty of information without being pushy. Pricing was a bit higher than I'd hoped, but fair especially considering the "you get what you pay for" thing. Once we made our decision the process was very simple. Great communication and ease of payment. The crew arrived on time, and were flexible due to local noise ordinance. They left no trace of themselves when they were done other than a professionally done roof with a long-standing warranty. I would definitely recommend them. read more

We hired SCHI to replace our roof, which is large and quite steep. It was not an easy task, but Seneca Creek did an amazing job. Dealing with Jeff Leach, the owner, was great and he took care of everything. We interviewed several roofing contractors and it was only Seneca Creek, who caught a problem, which would have voided our 25 year GAF Roofing warranty. My wife and I recently contracted with Seneca Creek to install a new roof (including shingles AND decking), siding, gutters and shutters on our entire house. When we initially met with Jeff and Tim, we got the feeling that Seneca Creek prided themselves on providing high quality work. Once the roofing and siding crews began working, we could immediately tell that it wasn't just a sales pitch. Each crew acted extremely professionally, and every crew member truly cared about the work being done. Both crews worked efficiently and paid really close attention to all the details. They cleaned up every evening before they left our house, even though they would be back first thing in the morning to continue working. The finished product was awesome. The new roof, siding and gutters made our house look like a new house again, and the trim work was especially amazing. More importantly, I know that the roof and siding were installed properly, so not only do they look good, but they are rock solid too.
