The bread was soft unlike what a banh mi sandwich should be, crusty on the outside. It's like over cooking an Italian pasta and calling it authentic Italian. The Chubbie is their classic slider, patty with cheese and diced onions. The Rodeo Clown was a patty with cheese, bacon, and onion ring. These came with a side of their house Chubbie sauce for dipping. I did like the Rodeo Clown much more because of the add-ons for the same price as the Chubbie. Nonetheless, both sliders tasted good and with the side of fries, I was content. I will say that the real deal was a bit of a disappointment compared to the photos they have on their online menu. IRL, the sliders appeared smaller and flatter. The fries were standard straight cut fries served in a paper bag. I do wish that they would have at least put the fries in a cup or butcher paper inside the bag, because all the grease got soaked up in the paper bag and made for a bit of a mess. I hope that this place makes it, as the employee (owner?) working the counter when I came in seemed like a genuine guy who was happy to help. The employee behind the counter was warm and friendly, and generously provided condiments and napkins as I took my food to-go. I ordered the 3 piece Fish & Chips (you can specify between 1-3 pieces). Here, they use swai fish and you can specify which type of breading you'd like - Cajun style (cornmeal) or London style (flour) - I went for the flour batter. Included on the side are fries, onion rings, toast, and a single hush puppy. The foam container was stuffed to the brim it couldn't even be shut. Not a bad thing since I know fried food like this needs to breathe in order to not get soggy. By the time I got to my office about 10 minutes later, my food was still piping hot. Among my whole platter of fried food, everything was still crispy as if I was eating it in the restaurant! It was so delicious - the fish fillets were battered well and had a good balance of fish and breading. The fries were seasoned nicely and the hush puppy, while only one, was a nice touch. I would definitely order this again, though would reconsider 3 pieces as I was stuffed and was ready for a nap by the time I finished. JLB has so many offerings I will definitely come back to try more, at any of their locations. I'm interested in the chicken, the burgers, and the sandwiches, and would totally order the fish again - Cajun style next time perhaps.

Senor Burritos ? Noooo Senor LADRONE who also has ROACHES INSIDE the cabinets !!! This is how my colleague and myself got CHEATED TWICE by the staff. On Friday night: we got there at around 7 30 pm and had a Michelada and a small Margaritas. Then still in the happy hour time (before 8 pm) we decided to have two more large margaritas and at around 8:40 pm we went for another round of two large margaritas. To be honest we cannot complain with the amount of alcohol in the drinks, but here it comes the trick of Senor Burrito (Senor Thief). At the end after 2 large margaritas and a Michelada I didn't pay much attention and trusted the staff, just swiped my card ignoring the threat of Senor Ladrones... the sneaky bar tender who served us tender prepared the check charging us the 6 drinks at full price for a total of 63.86 $. Thanks God Senor Ladrones ... ups Senor Burrito ... has the Happy Hour until 8 pm ! The same story happened to my friend some weeks earlier (I was with him at that time). The Tuesday after they cheated I decided to go with my manager to see the faces of these cheaters and try to explain to the same manager that was in the bar when we got cheated. He lost the faculty of speech and became like a dumb. Finally he gave to my friend free drinks after we tried to explain that he was refunding the wrong person. A complete disaster. STAY AWAY FROM SENOR BURRITO. It used to be a very nice place, but since many offices around that area shut down Senor Burritos become full of tricks and have to watch your back when stepping in. read more

My colleague referred me to this place and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a barbacoa burrito with the works. Portion size was generous, and I was able to add queso/quac to my burrito which gave it that special flare. No upcharge for the queso. Price was really good, service excellent and great atmosphere. I also tried the fresh squeezed canteloupe juice...very refreshing. For dessert I ordered the tres leches...super yummy. Waaaaaaaay better than the Taco Cabana up the street. I took my car to get serviced and Senor Burritos was down the street so I decided to give it a try. Now I am a huge Chipotle fan so my expectations were high, but I was impressed! I got the steak burrito with spanish rice, queso, sour cream, and veggies and it was really good. I love queso, so having the queso option is always a big plus for me.There was also 3 or 4 choices for salsa and I got the spicy green one and it was great. Two words, awesome restaurant! Senor burritos is a great place to chow down on some quality Mexican food. Since i work near the restaurant I decided to try it when it opened and the food was good. I came back two weeks later what an improvement! Now I am a regular customer. A great place to have a meeting or lunch with a friend. I would recommend this place for sure. I have to say I really liked this place. It was pretty packed when I went around noon but the line kept moving and the girls fixing my burrito were pretty attentive and friendly while taking my order. I got the steak fajita burrito and it was delicious. The meat was really flavorful and putting queso in the burrito sealed the deal. So basically, the food and service were pretty great in my book. When it comes to these delicious tortas, every bite truly counts. The name "El Mascarado" might literally be "the masked one" but references the lucha libre (#2) culture and is a huge culture symbol in Mexico. As a result, the decor is plastered with luchadores on the walls, tables, and throughout the interior of the place. There are only a handful of seats and folks coming in are often getting takeout instead. The tortas are priced at nearly $17 each but are the equivalent of 2.5-3x the size of a regular torta. The prices have risen nearly a $1 a year in the last 3 years, so foodflation is in full effect. Each come loaded with a myriad of meats, cheeses, sauces, and are overwhelmingly stacked. I have a soft spot for the la floja, which is scrambled eggs with sausage, ham, onion, queso fresco, and avocado. The campechana is their version of meat lovers, which has longaniza, grilled meats, sausage, with melted cheese and avocado. Big appetites can shoot for their mega torta, which is known as la quebradora, which has milanesa, chorizo, sausage, ham, melted cheese, roasted onions, pork marinade, topped with chipotle sauce and avocado. At $23, it will put anyone into an immediate (but satisfying) food coma. Non-torta items include tacos, quesabirria, gorditas, alambres, carne asada / pastor fries, chilaquiles, flautas, and even birrita ramen. They also have feature a cheetelote ($9), which is basically an elote (#3) but with cheetos as a base. There are also hot dogs, salchipapas, cheeto pies, and hamburgers with similar gigante toppings as the tortas. The staff is constantly hustling and bustling and don't have time to waste for people holding up the line. Spanish is preferred but English is doable.
