Nope. We only go when their neighbors bar if full and today reminded me that even going that little is too much. The bartender wanted to watch & see how much we were tipping by card so we chose to pay cash. He refused to get us change. Two beers and us being there for maybe 10 mins does not equal a $5 tip when you didn't even check on us. But then you refused to break a five. ‍ we wanted to tip, just not $5. Terrible, terrible, and terrible,. And oh by the way, did I mention terrible? Last night was my third attempt to have a meal at this restaurant and it was the worst ever. There were four of us at dinner last night and exactly none of the orders came out correct the first time, and only one out of four orders came out correct the second time. The servers at this restaurant either don't seem to know what they're doing or they just don't listen or possibly they just don't care. I don't mean to be cruel but I have no idea why a group of servers and managers can't get the orders right not once but twice in the same night. I will certainly not waste another penny in this poorly run establishment. read more

I had to give this "Cantina" one star to post of course. We went there last night around 6:30. Waited in the bar for 30 minutes for a table; still no drink yet. Then the bartender grabs his guitar and says sorry I have to go sing happy birthday! Hes back and gives us our drinks, we get a text saying our table is ready. Host says he texted us by mistake and it will be another 30 minutes!! (This is after he seats the family that had just come in.). Then, I think the host's sister comes up to us and says she has a table for us?! Unfortunately, after all this confusion, we didnt get to taste their food. Because of the loud, rowdy people (table of 6 men (boys) and an extremely loud female singer/dancer in the bar area (we couldnt hear each other talk), we decided to go have crunchy tacos (our fav) at Taco Bell. Our Suggestion to Senor Chiles: Either make it a restaurant or a nightclub! Pick a lane. read more

Really good & a vast improvement over the last restaurant in this space. I got Joanna's tacos, which was a combo with multiple protein options, all of which were tasty & juicy. The rice & black beans were just your average chain restaurant blandness, but the pico & cole slaw were nice, fresh additions (whereas the old Taco Rico pico just tasted like a stale refrigerator). read more

Do not ever order curbside pick up here. There is no pick up area so you are left sitting out front blocking traffic. While people honk at you, no one inside actually pays attention and you sit there and sit there. When you finally call because you've been sitting there for 10 minutes, someone will bring you your food. read more

Had the Barbacoa Torta. It was good! Salsa supply was great for chips or whatever else. But the best in my book is the vibe and the friendliness of the staff! They were extremely attentive. I live their TV setup for watching games etc. Oh and perhaps the most particular highlight for me: I loved their music playlist!!! Horrible bar service. Bartenders are rude and they all suck! Took me 39 minutes to get a drink and the bartenders were arguing with me over a simple drink not sure why! . I want to give a huge shoutout to Señor Chile Cantina in Arnold for saving our engagement party dinner tonight! After the tragic fire at Beefalo Bob's this afternoon we we were left without catering. After frantically calling in a large, last minute catering order it was quickly prepared and was delicious! Lots of extra sides, dips and toppings too! Thank you for saving the day! After coming again, the food is great as prior!! But, the service has failed again. We sat in the bar area (seated at a high top by a hostess) on Saturday (feb 2024) and took us asking 3 people to get a server/bartender. Took 30 mins to get a drink order(which a busser took since the bartenders said "idk who the server is and I'm to busy to find out") which was forgotten and then took almost another 45 mins to get a drink order to our table. This place may be better for lunch times or week days but avoid on weekend afternoon/nights (Arnold location). read more

We went to Senor's Chile for the first time about a month ago. We were not impressed with the food at all ___ in fact it was terrible. The waiter was in la-la land, after we managed to finish our unsatisfying meal, we tried to get the check, the waiter never came by so we had to get up and ask for it and even then we had to wait. We could have actually walked out without paying that's how little attention we got. Oh, and it's way too loud in there, the acoustics are terrible. I would not spend one penny in this place. read more

Food was fine, margaritas were pretty good, chips and salsa okay too. What wasn't fine were the flies in the restaurant and the fruit flies in the bar. It's hard to overlook the pest infestation - the employees need to clean better and get a pest control service. Service was very friendly and attentive. Doubt I'll be back though. read more

We loved everything about Senor Chili Arnold until they opened the new location in Severna Park and all of the "good staff" was moved. We had absolutely horrible experiences at our last 2 visits since the new location opened. On the first terrible visit, we went with friends for dinner. Food was terrible, portions were small and the dishes we loved and always ordered was not the same and we were charged (never ordered or drank) 6 shots of tequila. Unfortunately, we didn't catch it until we were home and felt it was pointless to try to get it corrected. Our second and last terrible visit was Memorial Day for dinner with my fiance. We sat at the bar and experienced rude, unwelcoming bartenders, especially the male bartender with the headband around the top of his hair. Dirty, unorganized bar, open garnish containers and uncapped juice containers in the bar fridges. Needing to ask for plates and to go and get silverware several times during our meal (apps and dinner) and in that process the male bartender says to me "You didn't have to come over here to get it, there's some over there" while pointing across the bar. We had loved the food at Senor Chile, but this time the food was greasy! So greasy the cooking oil was pooled on the plate of a steak Quesadilla (which 1/2 was left of the plate when we left) and my 3 street taco shells were so greasy, after every bit my fingers were covered with oil resulting in a pile of oily napkins. Leaving the restaurant around 7:00 the host standing at the hostest stand by the front door, eating rotisserie chicken with his hands straight out of the grocery store container - very unsanitary a very poor last image to top of another awful experience. We are so disappointed in the downward slide the restaurant has recently taken and we will not be returning anytime soon. This location needs to seriously clean up their act. If there is a manager, they need to be fired. If they don't, they need to find one ASAP. read more

My friend and I were on a mission to find real authentic mexican food and we found it at senor chile! Great margaritas! Table side scrumptious guacamole, mouth watering entrees , with no potato fillers (as we have previously found at Guido's in OC and El Jefe on KI), and the staff is super friendly! Service tonight was horrible and the tortilla soup was awful. Waitress was super nice but terrible at her job. My wife ate half her steak the other half was grizzled fat. Bummer, I liked coming here but tonight was just bad for some reason. read more

The absolute best! We've been to this location many times and are always impressed. The birria is fantastic, the portions are enough for leftovers and the price is right! We used to love going to Uncle Julio's in Annapolis but will always chose Senor Chile now. We've never had to wait for a table and they always have a great crowd. I had never been here before, but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in on a Saturday night. The place was packed, and a band- "All You Need" - was playing. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the patrons friendly. Our server was attentive and promptly took our order. The food was delicious, and my margarita was generous. Ordered the Burrito Mar y Tierra ( which had MOSTLY peppers and zucchini instead of the meat and shrimp with FRENCH FRIES in it) and the taco salad that was okay. Clearly the cook wasn't paying attention and being careless or someone thought it would be funny to put fries in a burrito. Salsa is a no unless you like it more like a salsa tomato paste...not great. I think we will stick with Chipotle from now on. read more

The atmosphere was warm and beautiful, and the decor was stunning. But there are a few issues. Firstly, the language barrier. I feel you should be fluent in English, especially when asking something as simple as what the drinks are and what they are made of. ... being told repeatedly, "i dont know," can get to be frustrating. The gingerale was nothing but the seltzer and no..."syrup?" Again, when I brought it up, I was told again, "I don't know." We ordered the calamari, which was half calamari and half white fish...and AGAIN when we said something...it was shrugged off and "I don't know" was repeated. Don't charge me $16 for calamari when you are trying to "hide" LARGE pieces of breaded white fish that legit took up more than half of the order. My order was also wrong, and I was given rolled eyes and no apologies. It's also rude to talk about a customer who points out a wrong order with another server... right in front of you and pointing fingers. It took about 20 minutes after asking for to go plates for the bill to come...and when the bill came they gave me a bill that was for $128 and ours was no more than $65, as I had added up the simple 2 entrées, 1 app, 1 soda and 1 mojito. I told her repeatedly that is not our total, and when I asked to hold the receipt to look at it, she just kept saying, "No, no, this is yours. This is yours." Another server came up and admitted our bill was given to another family and paid...and my response was, "that's not my fault...and doesn't mean that because they paid mine I had to pay there's?!!" She finally just said whatever, took our credit card, and mumbled some stuff in Spanish. All-in-all, I was quite disappointed in my experience because I had heard so many great things. Could be a one-off experience because of how busy they were and it being Valentine's Day? Regardless, I don't think I will be coming back here, as there are other Mexican restaurants that are so much better. X p.s. calamari should have been taken off the check, that's the one thing that sticks with me...as I feel they were trying to be sneaky and think we were stupid and wouldn't notice. If ya didn't have enough for a full almost $20 plate, tell me, and I would have gotten something else. Lol. read more

We ordered takeout from here recently and were very pleasantly surprised. Everything was fantastic, from their house made tortilla chips, to their queso, to their entrees (we had birria tacos and chicken fajita quesadillas). This will definitely become a new go-to for us. Highly recommend. read more
