Oh man... we ordered 4 meals. We asked for fajitas with half steak half pork. They said. Okay, we can do that and then proceeded to up charge us $4.75. Before we knew it our bill was $71! WTF. So then we ask about the up charges and they explain so we eliminate the split meats and just order steak fajitas and a trio plus two burritos. Then when we got home we were missing an entire meal! And the trio fajitas had like maybe 4oz of meat. Wtf?! I ask the manager and he said they portion it to 4 oz. and the menu... so the menu online and where you order from are different prices. Only the staff have the real price when you get rung up. So the fajitas was not 13.35 they're 14.55+tax or something. Bartender was nice. Everyone was nice. But wtf on the food and service. That's what we come for. Now I see a very young employee who doesn't speak English well enough to take an order eating chips over a woman's takeout order. Recently ordered take out...Nothing but disappointed. Ordered three Steak Tacos...great flavor but barely any steak. So when you order a burrito with any type of meat ask for extra meat. Normally steak burritos have a good amount of steak in it...well bc it's the main ingredient.....hence a STEAK burrito. When we called, the person on the phone said "we probably couldn't tell what was the black beans and what was steak". Makes no sense! There literally was 9 very small pieces of steak. Piece of steak should not be confused with beans!!! I feel like during times like these restaurants should give a 110%. The pictures of our food that I've attached....I took bc the "manager" told me to send pictures bc he didn't believe me. Why would I lie. Spent close to $70 and all I wanted was good food. Wouldn't refund me my money but offered us a credit (no thanks) or two new burritos. Which I took bc I don't plan on returning. What's crazy is that the food tastes good! But the customer service thumbs down. This isnt the first time we've gotten our order wrong either. I give the Guac and A+ though! LOVE Senor Taco. Everything tastes so fresh down to the complimentary chips and salsa. The closest location to me is a 45+ minute drive so when I'm around one, I don't hesitate to stop in. I've only dined in, in this location two times and carried out many other times. Since the last time I've been there, they play loud Spanish music, which kind of fits with the whole Mexican restaurant. And on top of the loud music, the staff at the counter were also very loud. Regardless of the atmosphere, I'm just coming for the bomb-a** food. I always get the chicken enchiladas which are fresh and delicious but yesterday's order, there was way too much enchilada sauce in one of the enchiladas in one area so I couldn't even finish it. My mom got the chicken taco salad and she enjoyed it and especially liked the shell. I'm not sure if this is new but they had fried iced cream which is suuuper hard to find on the island so I had to have it. It did not disappoint and was absolutely amazing. Really not that good. I was looking forward to an authentic Mexican taco experience . We live closer to Lucharitos but they closed earlier so we thought we would venture out further in hopes of authentic Mexican. I was immediately disenchanted by tte menus that were dirty to tte touch with dried up food on them, not to mention the fact that they don't fry their own chips. Tostitos is literally better. The margaritas were watered down. We waited a good 20 min for our tacos only to get them ice cold. It will be Lucharitos or Cactus cafe for us in the future. I cannot recommend this place. read more

We had passed several of these locations on our way out east and decided to stop at one on the way back. The windows were dark, so we were unsure if it was open or not despite the 'open' fluorescent sign. Upon pulling up we saw there were several cars parked around back out of sight, so we decided to try our luck. They were open, but we were not greeted upon entering. After seating ourselves (there was a bar, high tops, low tables or half booth/half chair tables to choose from) we were approached by a waitress and handed paper menus. The drink menus which were on the table already were very sticky but had a decent assortment of beer and cocktail options. The food menu consisted of a range of items from salads and wraps to tacos, burritos, enchiladas and some traditional dishes. I got a taco salad, and my friends ordered tacos, nachos and enchiladas. The tacos were served in a metal rack which had nice presentation. The tacos seemed kind of small but I heard were packed with flavor. The rest of the food was served in plastic dishes with plastic utensils, so definitely not a fancy place if that is what you're looking for. They brought out all of our meals except the enchilada at first. We figured it was taking longer but after 15 minutes we had inquired about it in which case they admitted to screwing up and apologized saying they would make it then. The staff was pleasant otherwise. If you're looking for a decent meal this could be the place for you but don't expect anything over the top. When paying our bill we also noticed they had 'suggested' tip values in which they quoted values on TOP of the added tax total, not the total before the tax so beware if you follow this guide - you may end up paying more then you planned! read more

Definitely would not eat here again in the future. I went here last week for the first time after passing the location numerous times, and was sadly disappointed with the food. Taco Bell seems more authentic than this place. We had the chips and salsa to start, which the salsa was not spicy at all. Then we moved on to the dinner which was also terrible. We ordered a bunch of street tacos extra spicy and none of them had any "spicy" seasoning on them, and were so wet that they immediately fell apart. We also found a bone inside one of the tacos. The kids got wings which were also pretty disappointing. The wings were nice and crispy on the outside which was their one redeeming quality, but the insides were squishy. The wings also aren't thrown in any sauce and it is just drizzled in top, one of the orders had a ton of sauce while the other had hardly any. We also ordered beans and rice that literally looked (and tasted) like they had just been purchased and microwaved out of cans from king kullen (yuck!) On top of everything else, service was terrible! We saw the waitress twice and then she disappeared and we had to find someone else to replenish drinks, and when a member of our party asked for a plate for their food to mix the rice and beans, instead of the small styrofoam dishes, the server was annoyed and said they would "try" to find a plate. All of the plates and napkins are also disposable, which is another downside. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars instead of one is because they did have a nice selection of happy hour drinks and the decor inside was nice. read more

I think this place is a little over priced.. first my chicken burrito had probably 6 pieces of chicken, I took ten bites into it before I even got to any chicken. However, the burrito was huge I couldn't finish it. They gave me a small bag of chips and salsa on the side. They also gave me I guess guacamole not sure what that green stuff is never seen guac watered down and that is the tiny amount they gave i didn't even try it or touched it. The churros were good. Stopped in here with a friend after a round of golf. I have driven past this place numerous times but this time I decided to stop in and grab a few tacos and some beers. I ordered the chicken Street taco, the Baja Fish taco and the chorizo taco. All of which were outstanding. The chicken was tender and plentiful, the fish was lightly breaded and very fresh and full of flavor. Not to be outdone was the chorizo taco, which was my favorite. It is a Colombian style sausage rather than the Mexican version. Definitely had more flavor but not as spicy. Ask for some of the homemade chipotle salsa on the side. It is quite delicious. The only reason I'm giving this place to start is because the food quality is pretty good. However, the service is absolutely horrible they are completely understaffed, your food will be cold when you receive it and often times it's wrong. I am not sure what they are going to do but they are completely overwhelmed and completely mismanaged! If you call and order you may get hung up on or they will not even answer the phone. Good luck getting your order in any time less than one hour. Sorry we've been coming here a long time but we won't come anymore this is probably the fifth time this is happened to us! read more

However be aware that Señor taco is a five-star restaurant if you were looking for amazing Mexican food grab and go and just great quality as well as awesome margaritas this is definitely a good spot I've had a rough and long week so take it with a grain of salt but I own a Product company and I manufacture Fridays and Saturday nights with my wife. We get out of production at 10 PM And every week an alarm is set on my phone for 9:20 To order our dinner. Long story short I placed the same order at the same time every single week and have never had an issue and today some girl who seem to be in a rush to go home answers the phone at 9:20 and tells me my $45 dinner order they're not taking orders they're closed and when I said that we order every week at this time and asked if I could speak to somebody else she hung up on me Again awesome food I have every intention of going there it just annoyed me I'll probably delete this in a few days because I don't really want it to Hurt There reputation. I really enjoyed it here. Nice outdoor space that allowed us to social distance but still enjoy ourselves. The staff was super friendly and our server made sure we were taken care of the entire time. She checked up on us a few times throughout the meal and made sure we had enough water the entire meal. It was a crazy hot day! I ordered the fried fish taco and the chorizo and potato taco. They were both delicious - fish taco was nice a crispy and the sauce was light. The chorizo and potato taco was heavier, but I loved the combination between the crispy, flavorful chorizo against the soft potato. I would absolutely order both again. The house chips were good, but the sauce that came with it was a little too runny. It was hard to get a lot of sauce to the chip itself and the sauce wasn't as spicy as I wanted. It lacked a bit of flavor. I also wish they didn't give us any cutlery - since I had tacos I didn't really need the plastic fork/knife. So disgusted with the staffs incompetence and nasty attitudes! I ordered from here a week ago and asked for the ST BBQ Burrito with no sour cream or pico for myself and some other items. I CANNOT have sour cream! It's not just that I dislike it but I cannot have it. When we got home with the food everything smelled so good and we were all starving after a long day. As soon as I bit into the burrito I knew they had put the sour cream and pico on it. I quickly called the restaurant but the kitchen had closed like 5 minutes prior so they put my name and number in the register according to the manager for a credit when I come back.... Today I decided to give them another try and order something simple that doesn't have sour cream but they could not find my information in the register and supposedly the manager is not in today... the waitress was incredibly rude and kept clicking her own as I talked which was infuriating!!! They told me to pay for my meal and IF they find my info they will call me... not once did she try and call the manager or even apologize! We visited on a Thursday evening and took advantage of their outdoor seating (due to COVID). We were seated quickly and ordered iced teas - which were good. We shared a chicken empanada appetizer - they were a little bland, but the filling and pastry seemed fresh. We ordered three soft tacos (beef, steak and chicken) and chicken enchiladas for entrees. Our meals were very good - well-prepared, simple Mexican fare. My only complaint from the whole evening (if I were inclined to complain which I am not) would be that the server took a very long time between visits and bringing us the bill. However, it was a very busy night with only a few servers working and I appreciate that they were making an effort and offering outdoor table service during the pandemic. Great and efficient take-out process. Order online and it's ready at the specified time. Drive up, park, call the number, and someone will bring your food out. The food is great! It's so hard to find good Mexican / Tex-Mex, especially as a vegetarian. I cannot recommend this place enough! Very generous portions, flexible selections that make it easy to accommodate dietary restrictions, and great guacamole. Definitely worth it to get extra guac. The green salsa is also good - nice mild kick. Have gotten both a burrito and taco bowl and love both. Since the staff has changed things seem to be a lot better. Still a horrendous idea to be taking phone orders next to a loud bar. It is literally like pulling teeth. Every dish you order they repeat it back to you and it is totally not when you asked for. This dialogue usually goes on for about 3 or 4 more times. The caveat to this whole mess is when you pick up your order, there is ALWAYS something incorrect. This has happened more than just once or twice. Food is great but the whole process is a disaster.
