A hidden gem in Miller Place! First off, the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating with preparing my food as a vegetarian. I did the burrito and taco combo. We recently visited Miguel's Mexican Grill in Miller Place and absolutely loved it! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The carne asada tacos and fries were packed with flavor, and the tostada bowl was loaded to the top with rice, beans, lettuce, guac, pico, cheese, sour cream, and salsa -- every bite was amazing. The quesadilla was cheesy and delicious with just the right kick from the jalapeños, and their burritos were so filling and perfectly wrapped. You can really tell everything here is made with care and fresh ingredients. The portions are generous, the staff was so friendly, and the variety of authentic Mexican dishes makes it a spot worth visiting again and again. Saw the amazing reviews and wanted to try! So shocked to learn they've been here 8 years since I've always driven by!! It was DELICIOUS. the chicken quesadilla was delicious along with the burrito and birria tacos and the beef taco. So flavorful. The prices are so good and you get a lot for your money. Food is filled nicely with all the meats you pick. The owner is so nice and friendly. Really made the experience even nicer. The place inside is small as you'd expect but not cramped. We were on our way back from Wading River and wanted a no frill restaurant with good food. Saw this place on Yelp and walking in, it only has two tables but very sanitary inside. I ordered the Bistec Encebollado which is beef steak with sauteed onions, guac and tortillas. It also comes with small portion of rice and beans and chips. I do like the texture of the steak as it was easy to cut and not too fatty. The guac that came with it is very fresh and not store bought. My wife got the 3 tacos with rice and beans combo. For her tacos, she got 1 carnitas, 1 shrimp, and 1 fish. The fish had a bit too much batter and was just so so, and she enjoyed the shrimp the most. All in all, pretty decent Mexican food and the hospitality is very warm. Based on today's visit, we will give it 3 strong stars and would come back again. read more

Authentic Mexican tacos - chicken burrito was great , and if you're not sure what to get try the combinations, where you can try a choice of 3. Try the desert the Churos nd the tres leches, for less than 4$ you can't go wrong. Also I see a recent review about something being soggy - well don't order takeout then and then eat it 45 mins later of course it's going to be soggy. The gordita the quesadilla can be soggy bc of the amount of cheese they put in but don't let it get soggy it's simple. Either dine in for that authentic feel or deal with itttttt. I've gotten take out several times and never have been disappointed. I use to live in Oaxaca, Mexico and this is the closest to real Mexican food that I've found. Best Mexican place in the area, can't beat the prices either. My friends and I come here often and Miguel has never let us down.

The food is a Good Texmex style. We enjoy the nachos supreme, please hold those jalapeños. I would have given a 4th star because you make good food however your portion size has decreased and prices have spiked up a bit. I Know terrible economy. Tasty Food, Friendly Service, Decent Prices. No this isn't the best Mexican food I've ever had but in comparison to other restaurants in this area, this place is ranked high. Located on 25A, it will be easy to find. It's situated between a barber shop & a karate store. Parking shouldn't be an issue, Lot is in the back or parking on the shoulder available. The Prices are decent. Certainly not the cheapest but won't cost an arm and a leg. It's super tiny inside, I wouldn't recommend eating in. This is definitely more of a take out spot. Very clean and well kept, I just wouldn't eat in again. The Service was friendly and quick. The Food was good and is something hard to come by in these parts. I will be reviewing what I tried: -Steak Nachos: Loaded with toppings, they definitely didn't skimp out. Homemade chips as well. Tons of nicely seasoned meat mixed so well with the fresh pico on top. Plus guac wasn't extra! 5 out of 5 stars -Gordita & Taco Combo (Steak for both): Thought the Gordita was different. I liked it, didn't love it. I thought it was a bit doughy. The steak taco was excellent and the additional hot sauce I put on gave it the kick it was needing. My meal also came with rice and beans which I thought were delightful. 4 out of 5 stars -Horchata Drink: Do what I did and order a large right off the bat. I'm surprised I have not done a review of Miguel's as of yet. Have been grabbing lunches and a few dinners since they opened. Always, always top notch food. I grew up in AZ and been to LA many times and Miguel's, since the owners are from LA, can keep up with what is offered out west. This is Long Island people, not exactly the mecca of great Hispanic food but Miguel's is highly recommended. They should consider opening up a food truck for a 2nd site wherever food trucks do well on the island. If you like good-sized portions - go. If you like extremely friendly owners - go. Many factors lead to my 5 star review. First was their delivery. Incredibly fast. We were shocked when someone knocked on the door. Didn't expect it to be them! Second was their packaging. Everything was piping hot and wrapped in tight cellophane to control any possible spillage. Third was the food. Holy. Moly. Guacamole. We got the Chile's rellenos and the nachos supreme with chicken. Went there bc my girl and I were craving Mexican. We ordered online, which was easy. When I went to pick it up, I walked in and was at a loss for words. You could see in to the kitchen, and nobody was wearing a mask (normally not an issue, but in these times, it's a must). Got my order and left. When I got home, I noticed 1 of my tacos was missing, and my order was not correct (burrito had items on it I asked to remove). I called about missing taco, and they brought it right over.
