Señor Tequila is one of our favorite restaurants and easily makes my top five places to eat. The food always comes out very quickly, even when they're busy, and everything we've had has been delicious. We also rented the upstairs area for a party, and the pricing was very reasonable for both the space and the food. The staff were accommodating, the atmosphere was great, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. When we arrive our party was told that it would be a 30 to 45 minute wait. After waiting 1 hour I went up and check on the status for being seated and was informed it would be at least 45 minutes before they would be able to seat us. I had purchased a drink while waiting. When I went to hand my finished drink to a staff member, I was told to "take it to bar/counter myself. Really? Left the facility feeling unappreciated and hence the poor review. In the future I'll be taking my business to a restaurant that appreciates their customers. Walked over to Mama Vicki's Coney Island and we were treated like kings. read more

This place is locally found in downtown Port Huron. Right on the strip.Great Decor very festive and cozy. Large, the wait was fast and the SERVICE!!! Did I say SERVICE!!!!!!!! The fastest IVE EVER RECEIVED FOOD AT ANY RESTAURANT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. The Drinks came in 5 mins (party of 5 ) all alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired. The service was lacking professionalism in all aspects. It was not a friendly atmosphere. When I requested Splenda, I was handed 2 packets of sweet n low , which is fine but when I asked if she had the yellow packs because this is not Splenda, the waitress rolled her eyes and sneered. She then said"no, that's all we have" and walked away. When she came back I asked if she could provide me with sugar instead then and she returned with 2 packets of sugar. Mind you, there are 2 of us with unsweetened iced tea at this table. I then asked if she could please bring at least 4 more packets and it seemed to bother her. The food was not authentic Mexican food but the burritos were ok covered in cheese sauce. Another positive thing is that the food came out quickly, not much wait time. I wouldn't recommend this place because a good dining experience starts with great service. read more

Went here for dinner. Was a bit nervous because it mentioned s nothing at all about gluten free available. Most Mexican is gluten free but deep frying flour tortillas and other items introduces cross contamination. Our waitress was very kind and shared that her sister and mother have celiac. She made sure to check everything before placing the order. Their salsa was soooo good. The chips were great, a little Nervous eating them. We didn't get sick. A definite plus. We shared the chicken fajitas and asked for queso on the side, they came with corn tortillas and they were amazing. The atmosphere was cool, chill vibes and very clean. We will be back!! read more

Was headed into Port Huron for Mediterranean, but gor waylaid by a convo abt this place. Can you say, Chile rellenos/pablanos? Yes, they do! So rare to see true TexMex on menus north of the border. They have it all! The salsa was pretty spicy, the chips were amazing (I limit gluten and these did NOT bother me, and I had more than i should've). The poblano plate was incredible. A couple really good sized poblano stuffed with that incredible white cheese that make you go...mmmmmm! She had the taco salad, said it was deelish. We are not drinkers, but what the hey, it's the Holidays. They had a separate holiday drink menu, my friend ordered a snowy margarita or something similar and it was sooo pretty, coconut flavored, garnished with cranberries. I had a Mojito- no MIGRAINE today! It was really nice to see a family atmosphere. Service was good however my order was incorrect twice due to menu inconsistency. Also my kids received overcooked Dino nuggets. I had higher hopes due to amazing look and lack of great Mexican food in this area. Again staff were attentive and had great attitudes but none of the food was good enough to return. Nice friendly staff and a great ambiance. There is a nice outdoor seating area behind the restaurant away from the main street. This is my second time here and the food is great. I ordered something new that I have never tried before and it was delicious. I now have a new favorite dish to order! I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in town. read more

The food was just okay! Not the best Mexican restaurant by far! I asked the waitress is the crispy hard shells if they were made there. She said yes! It was lie! These hard shells are store bought! The rice and beans were not the greatest, pretty bland. The enchiladas were okay! The food overall wasn't something I would want to go back to if visiting the Port Huron again. The decorations such as the letters outside on the back was very cute and authentic. I did order a medium strawberry frozen margarita, it wasn't good at all! The restaurant was very clean and our food came in a very timely manner. I also had the fall sangria that I enjoyed. The food here is very very good I got the enchiladas plate while my family got a different dish each it was all great also got chorizo cheese sauce for an app it was fantastic as well. The service was spectacular, the server was very polite and the food came out with a quickness. The ambiance is nice as well noisy but not too noisy you can definitely have a conversation here with ease but you also don't feel alone either. The decoration is very nice as well all in all anything less than five stars would be a disservice with its reasonable prices and expedited service what more can you ask for. read more

Really enjoyed dining here. I love the fact they have a large menu & lots of their choices aren't your run-of-the-mill every day Mexican type dishes. We went for lunch, very friendly server & the food came out quick. They have a great salsa they bring to you with chips when you first get seated that has (IMO) just the right amount of heat without being too zippy. I got the Burrito LP, which was HUGE. The beef & chicken wasn't dry, like sometimes it can be & the chorizo was yummy. My friend got the shrimp fajitas which came with about a dozen medium sized shrimp seasoned perfectly. Their prices are very reasonable also. Looking forward to going back to try something else sooner than later! read more

The food was delicious here it's the best Mexican food you can get around here. I was very happy with my food and I didn't have leftovers. I'm not good with choosing Mexican food so the waiter really helped me and my tummy felt so good. I didn't know this restaurant was here until I walked by it. The service can be a bit slower than other places but not to the point we would stop going. Prices seem very competitive. Out last bill with four meals, and 2 adult beverages was about $70.
