We were meeting up a couple friends and decided to try this restaurant again. I think they've had great improvement since we were here when they first opened. The food actually tasted delicious and was less greasy than we previously had. The service staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The food came pretty quick and was hot and fresh. They were not very busy and we were able to get a seat right away. The overall vibe here is great. We will return again. read more

When Spicy Thai Kitchen first opened, it was one of my favorite places to eat and was easy to recommend to friends and family. The food was flavorful, fresh, and consistently good. While I feel the quality isn't quite as strong as it was in the beginning, it's still a great place to eat with a variety of tasty menu options. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it's a solid choice when you're craving Thai food. I would still recommend giving it a try. read more

Overall I really like Spicy Thai Kitchen. We tried it when it first opened and we were not if fans due to finding pieces of meat in our vegetarian dishes. After about a year, we tried it again and we love this place! They are now very consistent with their meals. The food is always hot, fresh, and made quickly. We normally just get it for take out, but the place looks nice inside. For being the only Thai place in the port Huron area, they are super great! read more

Food is always super hot and delicious, the spice levels are a perfect way to mix it up and try something different, service is always very fast and friendly everytime I've ordered over the phone or through DoorDash and they have a cute little setup with good music for the ambiance! Spicy Thai Kitchen is a gem of a restaurant. We went for a late lunch. It was an awesome decision. In the location of the former Egg Roll Inn, the door had a handwritten sign saying to use the other door. What used to be next door is now an elegantly decorated restaurant. There are booths, and lovely upholstered chairs at tables. It looks as if a tv show chef had just had it renovated. The black and white theme is accented with silver wall decorations, a cheerful sushi bar at the back, and cheerfully prompt greeting inviting us to sit anywhere. The only negative was a lack of light for me to read the menu. This was quickly remedied by using my cell phone's flashlight. I ordered the lightly spiced almond chicken; "fried" rice was an extra dollar. I wish they'd had brown rice, but when the dish came promptly, it did not disappoint. Shredded chicken in a bowl of lovely assorted Oriental vegetables was just a touch spicy. Adding the rice made it perfect for my untrained palate. I much preferred this to the Chinese battered and fried version. The meal was not too fancy, but just simple and honestly presented. One thing I would have liked is an unsweetened tea. Alas, I had to settle for my standby of water with lemon. My dining partner had a ginger tea that smelled gorgeous and looked very elegant in a beautiful clear mug. I will definitely return. Our meals were a little bit more pricy than a standard Oriental meal. To my mind, that was well spent on a healthier alternative, I think almost anyone would find it satisfyingly well prepared and tasty. Please try it out; I would love to see this place super busy and have it stay open for many years. read more

My husband and I love this place have tried many things, and enjoy them off the menu. Never knew we like Thai food until this place came to town. Newly renovated upscale dining area, wait staff is always friendly and attentive. We also really like the chicken pad Thai (or pork) and the soups, that are separate from the entree. read more

Fresh delicious appropriately spiced Thai food. I had a sweet ginger tea and it was excellent too. Clean and great service. They expanded the resturante and it spacious and nicely decorated. Calming music that is appropriate volume so you can talk at normal volume. Would be a great resturante for big parties or gatherings. Truly enjoyed the experience. read more

100% recommend, the food here is amazing. The place is super cute and they are still doing upgrades. Servers are very nice and helpful with the menu. The shrimp ragoon, crap ragoon and pad pak with chicken mild spice is a fave and must try, but also like to try new things on the menu everytime! read more

I just ordered the chicken satay, specifically noted that I wanted the cucumber salad with it. No cucumber, minimal peanut sauce drizzled over it. The crab Rangoon should be called, "cream cheese Rangoon " No crab, at all! Not even any krab. I just put the Pad Lod Narh with chicken in the fridge. I'm done with it all. In order paid Thai extra hot extra sauce, they did not add extra sauce and there was 2 big pieces of egg, not many pieces, that should be divided up better, the Tom yum was very weak in flavor, tasted more like Tom yum water and the spring rolls were very under par. Take out is the way to go. Food is always amazing but the service is absolutely HORRIBLE. We were there for 2 hours today. She asked if we were ready, we wanted to look at the menu for another minute, and after 15 minutes of her sitting at the front desk on her phone,, we had to flag her down to come and take our order. When we got there, we were one of 2 tables. We ordered, she came back to the table two more times to ask about what we had ordered and by the time we finally got our food, the place had filled up and almost everyone got their food before we did. Also two items were forgotten. The waitress never cleared ANY glasses, plates or menues from the table and had a horrible attitude the entire time. I've waitressed for many years and there is absolutely no excuse for her to have been as rude and neglectful as she was. Put the phone down and focus on your customers. read more
