If you like burritos with a good ratio of meat to other ingredients, I would suggest asking for light rice so that the rice doesn't overcompensate for what my friends said was a lack of protein. My burrito had plenty of steak, however my two friends were commenting that they'd prefer less rice and more meat!! While I've only been here twice, both experiences were consistent...good food, good margaritas, and great service. This would be my 'go to' Mexican food restaurant if I lived here.

A signboard at the entrance to the restaurant invites customers to choose a table and then help themselves to chips and salsa. If you want Mexican food in Mount Shasta, stay away from those chains and go to La Perla for a much better meal at reasonable prices to boot. I've had many items on the menu and it is all fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant. Just had lunch here and it was delightful...such good flavors! My husband had a variety of tacos, while I had the El Pastor tacos. Plus we both had their delicious rice and beans...yum! The employees were very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try. read more
