This place is just bizarre. We go to Carmel a few times a year for a quick getaway from NCAL, and like a fool, I decided to pop in and check out the super cute cupcake soaps displayed in the windows in between walking my dogs around and awaiting my college student & husband to emerge from our hotel and the other shops (Diggidy Dog) to actually open. And then quickly realized, this is a "bait and switch" store. I was verbally pulled away from the soaps to be slathered with some sample of a non-botox eye cream, reprimanded for not upkeeping any botox I had in the past, and then asked if I wanted to buy nearly 1200.00 worth of cream. I told the aggresive sales person I needed to get back to walking dogs and exited promptly. Hours later, at home with my sample under eyes, my eyes are as dry as parchment paper. Avoid! read more

I visited August 24th and bought the +youpre eyecream. it cost $397.00 but I am running out and cant find it anywhere for less than 1K. This eyecream transforms your wrinkles and shallow lines into firm and smooth in minutes. I thought it was expensive at the time but its a bargain. Hope I don't have to wait a year to find some. This spa/salon is a tiny miracle. Jorge assessed my skin, gave me extremely knowledgeable advice and the products I've gotten from Senselife have made my skin radiant. I don't need to wear foundation anymore and I don't have a single wrinkle on my face. I'm in awe. I have always been very skeptical of luxury spas and skincare but senselife completely changed my mind. Very simple skincare, absolutely no botox or injections of any kind has been my go to but I found myself needing more as I've gotten a bit older. Senselife is definitely not closed but is definitely operating with its usual vigor. I have been an extremely satisfied customer of Senselife, Carmel, for over two years. The staff is very knowledgeable about, and highly-trained in , the use of appropriate skin-care products, facials, facial massages and infra-red machines used to reduce/ eliminate wrinkles and to repair damaged skin. Prior to going to Senselife, I had dark circles under my eyes that would not respond to any drug store product. Senselife's syringe did away with the dark circles and tightened up the skin under my eyes almost immediately. The Senselife staff is continually upgrading both skin-care products and machines , so that the latest and best of both are available. I highly recommend Senselife. Jorge the owner of SenseLife, leeward me into his store by telling me my face had wrinkes and fine lines. As I heard this news he said he had the stuff for just that. Jorge followed me into the store and had me sit in the salon chair and started applying many lotions and oils to my skin. Without any regard to my allergies and skin problems. Jorge began making up a bag of skin care products and utensils to apply the creams with. When in reality I wanted nothing to do with it. What seemed to be a couple of products turned out to be hundreds of dollars. He asked for my credit card made the purchase without my knowledge of how much it will really be. With the 1,5000 dollar charge, Jorge told me this was a steal. But you can get this stuff off of the internet for a 1/4 of the price. Last weekend myself and my two daughters where down in Carmel-By-The -Sea enjoying a "Birthday weekend". We were checking out all the wonderful shopping, when we came upon this cute little shop for skin care products. We where met at the door by a guy that had beautiful hair and skin and his name was George. He offered us some free samples and said he had some skin products that we might like to see inside. He asked if it would be ok if he applied some product on my eye area that reduces lines. He was very knowledgeable about their skin products and, about skin in general. He gently applied the product under my eyes and used a hand fan to quickly dry the area. Within seconds I could feel it tightening the skin, making it look much smoother and the wrinkles were gone!!! I could not believe my eyes, he wasn't kidding about what it could do. We all had a wonderful time talking and laughing with him, and I never got the hard sell at all. We all left but said that we would most likely be back the next day. I wanted to see if it would last through Dinner that night or just wear off before I gave it my approval. But it did last even into the next day, my eye wrinkles were less noticeable. The next day before we left Carmel we stopped by to see George again and I bought the Cosmic Enhancing IV Filler. George was wonderful, and I never felt pressured by him to buy his products. I felt he believes in the products and what they can do, so they sell themselfs. Last week i was in Carmel with my boyfriend and stumbled upon this beautiful store. I went inside and Robin showed me a sample to help balance my complexion, the results where amazing I decided to buy a couple just in case since I wasn't going to be coming back for a little while. Within one week of use my dryness went down drastically and my pores are much cleaner. These worked wonders on my face.. I have such sensitive skin and my redness is slowly calming down I am so relieved since It has been nearly impossible to find a product that can do all of this . I'm using the Venus facial peel and the vitamin c serum. Celestolite products are very gentle on your skin and leave you feeling glowing and hydrated.
