We can honestly say that we've had a lot of different Asian restaurants as it's one of our family favorites and without a doubt this is the best fried rice we've ever had! We dined in , but also ordered chicken fried rice to go. They charged a 3% percentage for to go orders which we didn't know about. A good sushi restaurant in the heart of downtown Springtown, Texas! It is situated on the square very near several shops and eateries. Parking seems ample but is often unpredictable, so give yourself a couple of minutes to get a spot. I went for lunch around 1PM, and I believe they close at 230 PM until dinner service. There was one other table occupied at that time, and I think they weren't far ahead of me. I waited just a moment to be seated and the hostess gave me my choice of where to sit. I don't think they have a drink machine because they brought a can of soda and a glass with ice. That is a little bit of a detractor for me, because sodas are $2.95.... Refills? Nope. It is an old building, and wide open inside, so with the high tin ceiling, it would need plenty loud if it were full. The dining area is dimly lit and sparse as far as decorations. There is a partition running through part of the dining room, probably as a buffer against the noise, but it also offers a little privacy, at least on one side. The menu was kept simple, with just a few choices, and nothing outside what I would say is standard fare. I ordered the an appetizer of eggrolls, but I had to get the chicken because they were out of pork. They came to the table piping hot on a bed of sliced cabbage, with a dish of sweet and sour sauce. They weren't the greatest I have ever had, and I really wanted these to be great having read all the 4 and 5 star reviews. I ordered the Senshi Roll which arrived in a timely manner and looked beautiful! I like spicy food and from the menu I saw this had serranos on it. I will say this roll does not disappoint! The spice level was right, the ingredients all meshed, and I liked the consistency of the rice they used. It was served with a dab of wasabe and some pickled ginger. The hostess, waitress was friendly but not over engaged. I suspect they had business to tend to involving closing up. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. It is nice to have a quality sushi place out this way! I am hovering between 3 and 4 stars... I will give them 4, but I think value for the dollar is lower than it could be, and the thing with the sodas kind of rubs me the wrong way. read more

The service is good except sometimes they forget and leave things off for pick up so just be sure to check your stuff but they're always good to refund the money if something was missing. They were just opening so like most people I waited before going back and giving it a second chance. This past Friday my wife and went in to have lunch and the place was getting busy for lunch crowd, however, we were seated quickly and order was taken. My wife got the chicken fried rice and I got the Rainbow Row. $35 bucks for two at lunch isn't what I would consider pricey for a sit down lunch, although that $2.95 can coke throw me off a bit. Many bad things with our experience. they sat the adults at one table and kids across the room at another table. Took an hour to get our sushi mind you some people were already done with their food before others even got theirs, then at the end when we paid our waiter Amy (I believe that's her name, related to the owner) snapped and started cussing up a storm and lost her mind because she felt her tip wasn't big enough meanwhile her tip was still $60, and the owner didn't say a word about it and let her do it. This place is awesome! A lot smaller menu than we are used to for similar food in the city but outstanding nonetheless. The steak is second to none and the hibachi veggies are the best I've had. A lot of prep and care goes into every meal here! The inside isn't huge but it's the perfect size to be a maintainable "different" restaurant in Springtown! We ordered and paid for a pick up order through Toast on a Thursday evening. The receipt stated it was ordered at 6:08 PM and ready at 6:45 PM. I arrived at the restaurant at 6:40, was greeted by the hostess, and signed and received a paper copy of my receipt. At 7:21 PM, I finally received my order. I spoke with the manager to clarify that the time on the receipt indicated when the order would be ready. He said yes. When I indicated that it was past 7:20 before receiving my order, he turned to the hostess to ask if the kitchen was backed up and why it took so long. She shrugged her shoulders. He's the MANAGER and he's asking a sweet high schooler doing her job on the front end why the kitchen is backed up? No apology from him, nothing. Why? I wonder if it's because he was too busy talking to all the people he knew and not caring about the three people waiting up front for their orders. Why wasn't he in the kitchen helping, or, at the very least, offering an explanation to the delay. It was a busy night, but no wait for those dining in. I'll never be back, and I won't ever suggest it as a place to eat. read more

First thing you notice walking in, it has a very chill vibe. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The food was on point! Presentation was fantastic and quality was great! Kiera was our waitress, she was very helpful and informative. We ordered the tuna tower as an appetizer, it was delicious! Made perfectly and so pretty. For entrees we ordered the shrimp hibachi, the vegetable fried rice, and the firecracker roll. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully. We'll be back try more on the menu very soon! The price is good especially for the quality. The chef came to the table and asked question because we requested no sesame seeds on my husbands meal, to ensure he didn't use anything that could be an issue to the safety of my husband regarding allergies.
