Pad Thai / curry with chicken

The service was amazing my best friend and I stopped in after seeing a TikTok review and loved it. The waitress was awesome we ordered 2 appetizers crab rangoons and pot stickers. Both were great! She got a curry with chicken and I got pad Thai with chicken no tofu both were excellent. If you want chopsticks just ask. Can not wait to go back!!

    Chicken Pho

We just moved to the area and we have been desperately looking for Pho and saw this place mentioned on a local social platform. It's in a shopping center with only a couple spots available so we drove around a bit trying to find a spot. Upon entering there is a wait to be seated sign but you are instructed to sit anywhere. We sat in the booth table along the far wall and we waited a little bit before someone took our drink order. The place was moderately busy at the time. We ordered hot green tea and a coke. I did notice drink refills were slow as well. We ordered chicken and meatball pho and it was pretty good. The place has quit a few tables and could easily accommodate a large or small group. I know we will be back because it's the only pho in town.

This photo actually makes it look better than it does it person.

This was the blandest meal I've ever eaten. It's like they boiled the meat and noodles and vegetables together in water only. Not even salt or pepper. No Asian spices. Nothing but some seeds from a jalepeno. The noodles and meat are a strange color, I'm actually unsure if it's meat.

    Pot Stickers

They always make me feel welcome and cared for when I come in with their hospitality. Everything I've eaten there so far has been spectacular I visit pretty often.

Pad Thai was stuck together and tasted old. The egg rolls were not good and the spring rolls were bad as well.

Food is pretty good but we simply cannot afford to eat here as a family anymore. The kids meal is 10.50 and the portion just isn't worth it.

We dined with our little ones, and they are definitely kid-friendly, which I love. That was when I fell in love with their Kung Pao chicken and have been ordering it every time. I also ordered chicken Pad see ew for our little ones, and they liked it. My friend and I ordered from their lunch specials. It is Monday through Friday until 2:30 p.m, and they have a lengthy list of the main courses you can pick from, and it also comes with a side of either their fried rice or white rice and an egg roll. My first experience was great since the food was delicious and customer service was superb. Danielle is so welcoming, friendly, attentive and has provided superb customer service all the times I've been here. The owner is nice and attentive to his customers. The most recent time was today, February 24,2026. This is definitely a family owned business that cares about their customers. My little one loved their garlic chicken since I gave him some for lunch and he even licked his little fingers. That was definitely a first. 10/5 for him. Their little daughter is such a sweetheart and it looks like my little one made a new friend. The times we've dined in our waited on my food I go inside instead of just waiting on my car because they are just so sweet and welcoming. Their Kung Pao chicken spicy level 4 is one of my favorite dishes. 10/5 Garlic chicken is delicious 5/5 Chicken Pad see ew 5/5 My husband liked their orange chicken, and I'm just more of a savory or spicy kind of person when it comes to my food. The interior is spacious with about 8-10 booth tables and 4-6 tables in the middle, and they sit anywhere from 2-6 people, depending on the table. Overall, all the dishes we've had are filled with umami, delicious and good portions for the price. As one of my fellow Yelp friends mentioned, "don't get fooled by the exterior appearance." It's a great spot and I highly recommend you stop by if you haven't.

There's a reason they're cheaper than others. The Egg drop soup was eggs (nice). But the SR were still a disappointment. They're just iceberg lettuce some carrot shreds and the dipping sauce. I usually don't go back but there's something abt HB that wants me to try again.

While the bahn mi isn't exactly traditional, it is still very good -- I'd highly suggest getting it with the pate. The sampler appetizer has a little bit of everything and is great for sharing. Pineapple fried rice was delicious. Pad Thai also great! If you're a spicy eater like me, just go for very spicy. They have 4 spice levels (mild, medium, spicy, very spicy) and this is a reminder to myself to get very spicy next time. Thanks for the delicious meals!

Malai Kitchen in Clearfork is a welcome detour from a shopping afternoon, Thai and Vietnamese…read morecuisine in a bright, airy space that makes you want to settle in for longer than your credit card probably intended. A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.

It is affordable which is much appreciated during travel. We had garlicky wings and spring rolls (vegetarian deep fried) to open. Wings were crispy and tasty - not buffalo in size. Had Tom Kha soup, pad see ewe, green curry, drunken noodle, vegetable fried rice, Thai iced tea, lime coconut drink, and the ice cream sandwiches macaroon. Thai iced tea was pretty standard. The soup was sour and yummy. My family is mostly vegetarian so all of the dishes except the drunken noodle and wings were with tofu. The green curry had warmed up green beans and peas from frozen-nothing to write home about. Pad see ewe and drunken noodle were decent. I didn't try the fried rice. The fried spring rolls were more wrap than vegetables. The vinegar sauce was a little bland. The dessert was delicious - lighter in sugar than a usual macaroon. Cookies n crème was dairy, and the blueberry was nondairy, tasting like a blueberry bagel, per my niece- and at the end had a floral lavender rose note. The wait for the food wasn't too long. The takeout containers vary from plastic utensils to bowls, to cardboard box for wings, to foam for smaller bowls, and wooden chopsticks.
