I waited about (2) hours in line as there were a mixture of appointments and non appointments. Once I was up, the process was seamless and Harry was professional and delightful to speak with. He answered all my questions in some of the areas I left blank on the application and he worked as quick as he could to get everyone taken care of. Definitely an efficient multitasker. Anyone coming here to get help with processing your passport, I'd say downloading or filling out the application ahead of time helps with the process and bring your photos and all supporting documents to make it quick and easy.

As I approached the post office I noticed the driveway was a oneway direction. You enter one way and exit at the other end of the parking lot. Luckily I turned at the right entrance and found a parking spot in the front. They have their own parking lot that offered a large amount parking and one handicap parking spot. This was my first time here. When I entered the post office, I noticed that it was a lot bigger than the one I used to go too. They had several postal employees working the postal counter, which was nice. It seemed very efficient in there. They have a huge post office box section and some lockers. They also had an automated postage machine. They sell greeting cards and gift cards as well. I dropped my letter inside the Mail Drop box inside and left. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

As I was waiting in my car in the drive-through line, the person in front of me shouted out that the box was so full she could not put one more piece of mail in it. I parked in the side lot to go inside. As I was walking in, a man told me the mailbox inside was so full you had to hand your letters to someone behind the counter. I was bummed because I was in a hurry and didn't want to wait in line. Fortunately, it turned out you could walk right up to a worker who was accepting stamped, outgoing mail with no wait. He kindly stopped me to say one of my cards needed two stamps instead of one. He also complimented the stamps I was using, which were WPA posters from the Great Depression that I bought a few years ago. It was so nice of him. This post office always seems to be crowded, but I've only ever had good service here, except the time I saw a manager throw an outgoing box across the room years ago. That's an image I'll never forget. I vow to mail my cards well in advance of Christmas next year.

It's the closest free location to the hubby's house in SJ. When I got here, there was one person ahead of me. While waiting, I noticed a sign that said they started charging to pack up returns for Amazon, Temu, Shein, etc, in mid Sept. I was afraid they were going to charge me for dropping off my item. It was still in it's original box and unused. Luckily, they just scanned my QR code, took the item, and I was on my way. I talked to the hubs later about this and he said some things need to be boxed before dropping off at UPS. At least for Amazon. He was returning some faucets we bought a while back and when he tried to drop them off, they told him the items needed to be boxed up. (They were all in their original boxes.) He ended up leaving, boxing them up, and then coming back to drop them off. Later, he realized Amazon had stated they needed to be boxed before being dropped off, so make sure to read the terms and conditions for the return. Their return policy isn't as lax as it used to be.
