These vans are owned by people but rented out by this company - so... it was an older unit, some things were broken/delicate/damn near broken and obviously not meant to be beaten so.... With common sense and care everything was fine. I drove from Tampa to the keys without difficulty. I am 5'7" 140lb and not athletic / agile. I have fallen/ tripped/ banged my head and other body parts 7000 times.. again the van is small but nice! I got to my destination (Tampa to keys) and hooked up to power / water .. power didn't work. Camp ground figured out the entire electric panel was turned off. Very odd... anyways AC and all worked great no complaints. Showered, used water heater, and dumped tanks in the morning without issue. Bed is heavy and uneven / hard to lift. You end up letting your chest hold it while your legs and back push resistance = uncomfortable with boobs let's be real.. not journeys fault but the bed will absolutely break your back/painful kink in the morning.. I'm still recovering lol. There are ants. Mind you... I'm not surprised. It's a camper in Florida. But it's still annoying. I'm in this thing for 3 days I don't want to deal with ants... Drop off was easy, provided a gate code and let myself in and out. Overall would recommend if you can deal with ordinary use and issues, if you need something brand new and sparkling this isn't it.

This was not mentioned to my husband. It is pitch black so he could not see there were two gates. He was instructed to put a code in but because the gate was not identified, he was at the wrong gate. As the sun began coming up, he was able to make his way to the second gate. Mind you, he tried phoning the leasing agent 53 times - yes, 53 times before he picked up! Yes it was 6:00 in the morning but we could not get to our rental. Even better, once my husband was in the gate (after an hour of being there) our RV was LOCKED! UGH! My husband had to wait for the agent to come and unlock the RV. This not only delayed us leaving, we hit rush hour in a few cities and could not go out to celebrate a family birthday that evening since we arrived at our location at 9:00! As we made our way out on the road, we soon discovered the navigation system was not operational. My husband had to phone the owner to try to use the system however, the system was never activated by the owner. A few of us were trying to work along the route and soon also discovered the internet we paid for was not working. Great! Since a few solid hiccups already occurred, my husband decided to call the owner about the insurance we purchased for our trip. Initially the owner told him all was ok. Great - we continued on our trip only to receive a call awhile later telling us the insurance we thought we purchased was not in effect; we still needed to purchase this! Yes, while already on our trip. I do believe it needed new shocks/suspension and windshield wipers were not good. All of this is why I am giving this review a 3.5. ALL of this could have easily been avoided! Our trip started off on a bad note because of this and again, we missed plans on Monday night with our family. Not acceptable. The 3.5 stars is because of all of the above. The RV itself was great! We enjoyed it, it was comfortable and made for great memories. Going forward, if we choose to rent an RV again, I"m confident we will look elsewhere.

The gentlemen that Sam sent for the move were right on time as promised. These guys broke their backs moving my numerous boxes, couch, tv and bedroom set. Every item carefully wrapped and professionally handled. Sam was very professional and very quick to answer my questions and address any concerns regarding my move. I hope that I don't need to make a move anytime soon, but Sam's will be high on my list of people to contact if I need to.

Called a few hours later to say they were close to my place and would be there soon. Had to call back again to say it was not my day. I was moving 1 month away. They were sorry. Moving day they did not wrap my furniture and put a 7 inch scratch on my dining table. They left 2 big nuts and bolts laying next to my headboard and I have no idea where they go. They did put plastic around one end of my coffee table because I advised them that the top pulled up so you can eat or work on computer and it slid back down. They must have let it flip open and the screws were stripped and could not be fixed. I was only able to screw in a few screws and cannot use it because I'm afraid it will collapse. My mattress was put on upside down and being 70 it was extremely difficult for me to get it off and flip it. The one guy let me know in conversation that his first day on the job he wore flip flops. My friends were right when they said I should have cancelled them when they were a month early and called again to say they were close. I did tell them that night when I got home from work that I was really concerned about still using them. I do not and would not ever recommend them to anyone.

Worst experience with movers ever. I have used professional movers for cross country and…read moreinternational moves many times and never seen anything this bad. The number of ways they did things wrong was astounding and only 20 pictures are allowed but I have many more. They used giant boxes to dump tons of little things with no packing material, threw in glass items mixed with other things with no padding, lied to their boss about running out of supplies when I had unopened boxes of moving paper, bubble wrap, and every size box there is. Left tape falling off of boxes, failed to pack numerous things I pointed out to them many times, left delicate items loose when I told them dozens of times that I was packing a 22 foot truck and could not have any loose delicate items. In addition to having to finish what they left undone, I had to open and repack box after box. Thank god I did, because if I hadn't, my belongings would have been smashed to bits in transit. The owner was a complete jerk when I called and didn't let me explain anything before starting to yell at me and spew lies that the crew had told him, probably realizing what a terrible job they had done. At the time, I fully intended to send the company a long detailed email with all my photos, but in the midst of a cross-country self move, I just never managed to do it. Also, he was so incredibly hostile I didn't want to fight. But I'm still bitter about the money I spent (over $1000) and how there are probably just a few fake reviews on here because they probably ditch bad reviews by changing their profile so I am finally adding this. Do not make the same mistake! Do NOT hire them to pack for you! You will regret it and end up repacking all your stuff yourself.

The office manager J.D. was very easy-going and communicative throughout the entire process, from scheduling the move to calculating the quote estimate, and following up before and after the movers arrived at my house. The movers were great workers, shout-out to Calvin, Tony, and Junior! They worked fast and efficiently, barely stopping for breaks. I followed the truck between houses and they drove carefully. In the end, we filled a 26' truck and the move took 6 hours. I am thoroughly satisfied with True Friends Moving Company and had an excellent experience with my move. I definitely recommend them! After over 2000 miles of driving, and 4 days on the road, the last thing I wanted to do was debate and negotiate price over hiring movers to unload the truck. I arrived on a Thursday, and desperately needed the truck unloaded the next morning. I anticipated getting the run around, and delays.. Instead, I received an immediate response here on the site, followed by a phone call 15 minutes later. (This was around 8pm Thursday night, by the way.) Not only did they give me an amazing quote... the gentlemen arrived Friday morning EARLIER than scheduled! The truck was unloaded in NO time at all.. They were fast, but extra careful with my items. Great sense of humor, extremely professional, and an absolute top-notch experience. I will definitely recommend these gentlemen to friends and family.. Thank you, again.
