    Tteukbaegi bulgogi

This restaurant is smaller but cozy and still had a good amount of customers in the afternoon, considering it was around 2 pm. There was only one waitress but for the most part we didn't have to wait too long for anything. She took our orders promptly, filled up our water jug in a timely manner when we asked, and brought our take out container and bill quickly too. Our banchan was also refilled twice without having to ask. We ordered the donkatsu which comes with rice and it was a lot bigger than I thought. It was really yummy. I also ordered the tteukbaegi bulgogi which was delicious too. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely come back again.

Delicious and massive servings. I've ordered from this place a few times now and every time it's good. Love the black bean noodles and the sweet & sour chicken is always amazing.

First time to their new location! Food was a great price and delicious. We were seated quickly and there were a good number of side dishes given. The kimchi has a kick to it! I ordered the beef tofu soup which was flavorful and filling. It's marked as spicy but it wasn't that spicy. It came with a rice on the side as well. I will definitely be back to try the other dishes, and give an updated review!

Ordered this for delivery and the food was straight fire - literally, as it was a healthy amount of spice. The beef was tender and so well seasoned, every bite was great. I tried the spicy bulgogi beef over rice and the spicy beef soup, both were great - I'll definitely have to come visit this spot in person some time.

Food is good. Big portions. Love the potato pancake! The rice cake with instant noodles is pretty good as well. Recommend overall.

My friend took me for lunch at this lovely restaurant. Their claim to fame is a healthier version of Korean foods. Although honestly, I feel like Korean food is already extremely healthy and filled with vegetables. But they definitely went the extra mile. We got lunch specials, which was priced very well. it was super yummy. The staff was also very friendly and kind. And the restaurant faces Bloor Street. We sat at the window seat and it was just filled with light. The staff were also very friendly and kind and we ended up having lots of laughs with them.

Lots of choice. Huge quantities. And good food. Crowded but not too noisy. Lots of take out coming and going but the wait was not too long even when sitting in. Nice service.

You walk up a goldcolored hallway and 2 flights of stairs before reaching the restaurant. The host stand is farther inside.....which will make sense once you are physically in the space. The workers were very friendly and funny. I had a great time bantering with them. My friend from 8th grade and I reunited for the first time in 21 years over dinner. This was one of her picks, and I am deeply grateful she chose it. Appetizers: Rock Shrimp, Fatty Tuna Nigiri, Crispy Rice Tuna Entrée: Jidori Chicken Drinks: Sangria, Champagne Dessert: Yuzu Citrus The rock shrimp was delicious. We loved the sauce it was tossed in. My friend is not usually a shrimp fan but she polished it off for me. The fatty tuna nigiri was great, as expected, and the crispy rice tuna was phenomenal. The Jidori chicken was delightful. We loved the sauce, and the mashed potatoes were pillowy. I did not have the sangria but my friend said it was the best she had ever had. The yuzu citrus dessert came with strawberry gelato and cookie crumbs. The gelato was not overly sweet and the yuzu was perfectly tart. They also put a little "Reunited" note on the dessert plate, which we both thought was such a sweet touch. Definitely pricey, but definitely worth it. Recommended it to my Toronto friends, I really want to go back and get that king crab rice.

The staff helped us through the menu and gave us recommendations, and was so kind and fun to chat with! I had gotten the chicken katsu and my friend the beef tartar bibimbap. Both came with amazing portions and we had food to spare. The katsu was perfectly crispy, and the house made sauce was perfectly seasoned and amazing! It also came with apples and salad on the side which was a perfect pallet cleanser. The bibimbap had a great variety of toppings and everything was seasoned well. When thoroughly mixed, everything bite had a bit of everything and it was delicious. On top of the food u get when you order, the meal also comes with 6 different sides. There was 3 different kimchi, braised potatoes and 2 others that I'm not sure what they are, but they were delicious. My favourite was the potatoes and kimchi! Overall this is an amazing place to bring those close to you for delicious korean food!

Hence we entered Jin Dai Lae. Good decision (yes, I am patting my back). Entree pricing was $3 to $4 lower than Markham/Richmond Hill. Portion was so big that you would be full, and might have to doggy bag. Most importantly, food tasted good. Short ribs stew had many pieces of beef. Squids hot plate was saucy. It wasn't too spicy, so it was good for me (menu didn't have a chilli sign either). For people who like it hot, you can ask for some chilli sauce.
