Ordered tteokbokki, dak gangjung, spicy chicken stew and kimbap less ham. Banchan: braised potato, fish cake, pancake, cucumber, kimchi. $53.11 with an additional 3.3% charge for using a credit card. :/ The braised potato is food. The rest of the banchans were ok. Kimchi wasn't that fresh. The dak gangjung is pretty good, crispy, not spicy, mostly sweet. The kimbap isn't bad, a lot of rice. The tteokbokki is spicy and slightly sweet, not a lot of fish cake in it though. The spicy chicken stew was more sweet that spicy, meat wasn't well trimmed either. Service was good.

If you're craving Korean food, this place hits. Is it the best I've ever had? No. But it's pretty dang close! I was excited to try this place because the reviews seemed to be positive and I was craving craving! Ordered the Nengmyun (cold noodles) and my mom gives it 4/5. She said the sauce that comes with it is a MUST. She didn't care for the meat that it came with... she says it made her top 3! My aunt always gets the galbi so I'm assuming it's good, I didn't try it. The gimbap was alright. A lot of veggies but it was too loosely wrapped for me, I like them TIGHT so they don't fall apart on me. The topokki was a bit on the watery side but it has potential. The soft tofu soup ‍‍ I'm not a tofu fan but I'm slowly starting to love soft tofu soup. IT MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH. I would get again!! AND THE PORK BULGOGI WAS DELICIOUS. 5/5 wouldn't change a dang thing! Comes with a little side of cabbage with cream like dressing and rice! The pork had so much flavor and it wasn't hard or chewy! I'd come back just for the pork! The atmosphere was very cozy, felt like a true mom & pop shop. I think the workers/owners were literally chilling and enjoying their meal next to us! WARNING: idk if they have air conditioning but they did have manual fans going back and forth so fyi for those who are food fighters!

Seoul Bistro is a very small Korean restaurant. It's not as fancy as Mr. Kim's in downtown Tulsa. However, it's quite busy. Even though it closes at 9PM, dine in closes much earlier. I came in at 8 PM and was able to get a seat. Dine in for some reason stopped at 8:20 PM that night. They had 2 people working in the front that night so things were moving quickly. Giving the size of the place, even one person should be enough. A couple of people work in the back to bring out your food. Speaking of the food, overall it's good. Every order comes with 5 sides. A few Korean sides I love are missing though, one of which is the anchovies. I believe every order also comes with miso soup, which is okay. The Topokki is Japanese pancakes in a spicy sauce. The noodle is thick and very chewy, almost the same texture of mochi dough. It's something I wanted to try but won't get it again in the future, not really worth it. The bibimbop is rice with egg, bulgogi beef, and vegetables. It's good with the spicy sauce and thoroughly mixing it up, even better when you mix all the sides in. I feel like the dish would be better if they give the customers the option to choose how the egg is cooked. Sunny side up or a little runny egg would make the dish tastier. Overall, Seoul Bistro is a good Korean option for Korean food giving the limited Korean restaurants in Tulsa. Don't expect to be blown away by all the reviews you read. As long as you do that, you will likely enjoy the food.

I tried their kimchi jjigae, and it was bursting with flavor. The broth was spicy and tangy, with tender tofu and pork belly that melted in my mouth. The side dishes were generous and delicious, especially the kimchi and pickled radish. It's such a comforting and satisfying meal.

My favorite restaurant 5 years running!!! I have taken anyone I have ever known here, and I can't recommend it enough. Ps. If you get the kimchi fried rice, add a fried egg, thank me later

Coming from Los Angeles where Korean food is pretty easy access, this place holds it own very well. It's in a very secluded plaza but I must say the food is good. I was craving Korean food, tired of eating American food and being Asian I needed my rice dosage LOL. What I ordered... I ordered Kimbap Bulgogi, galbi and soy bean paste soup. The food is pretty good and I'm overall impressed with this establishment to be able to give food Korean food in a city where the Asian American population is very small. I'm assuming this place is family owned, so the daughter upfront who took our order and her friends who charged us were very friendly. Sad to say this probably the must welcoming people I've encountered my entire stay in Tulsa for work. Service was amazing!! Like I said, this place is good and holds it down for its location. I give it 5 stars. It's not no BCD tofu house in Los Angeles but it does the work and hits the spot.

Coming from Minnesota, where we have a good amount of Korean restaurants... Damn, Seoul Bistro was so good. Oklahoma, this is the go to spot for Korean food. We ordered all out. Korean Cold Noodles, Fried Chicken & Potatoes app, Korean Black Bean Noodles, Galbi, Kimchi Pancake, etc. Everything was damn good. This spot can compete with some of the best Korean spots in Minnesota. You can't go wrong here for Korean food.

This place is legit! Was just visiting Tulsa and a friend recommended Seoul bistro. Much smaller and more home-y than I anticipated, which I loved. The banchan was brought out pretty quickly and were some of the biggest portions I've seen thus far when it comes to Korean in Oklahoma. Their kimchi and daikon were spot on. Following their banchan portions, the portions of the main entrees were no different. I ordered the squid stir fry which also came with rice, salad, and miso soup. The stir fry was very flavorful and fresh. Didn't really care for the salad. We also tried the soft tofu soup which was also very good. Really solid place if you're craving that authentic Korean taste!

Straying from my favorite meal F-4 Dak Gangjung , to try the S-2 Yukgaejang . It was a delicious, filling, spicy beef stew with one minor unpleasantry. The bracken fern stems were woody and fibrous. I imagine that eating an electrical extension cord would be similar in texture and chewiness. Not one of their meals I would recommend, for only this reason. My wife went with the R-1 Dolsot Bibimbap. She enjoyed the big bowl of seasoned napus leaf, soy bean sprouts, broiled radish, and carrot with bulgogi. Recommended! The kimchi served with the banchan remains rated as some of the best I have ever had. It is a clean restaurant with very good service, serving freshly prepared Korean dishes. Even with the chewy fern stems in the Yukgaejang, Seoul Bistro still holds a comfortable ranking as one of two best Korean restaurants in Tulsa, in my opinion.

Seoul Bistro had been on my list for quite some time when I found myself able to make it in for lunch. The place itself is neat as a pin, clean and welcoming. Once seated, a menu and drink were quickly brought to the table. Having perused the Yelp! images from other users, I had already decided between udon and galbi, ultimately deciding on beef udon noodles, with fried shrimp for an app. The assorted sides arrived with the shrimp in remarkable time. The shrimp were good, but I suspect your run of the mill frozen shrimp like you'll get most everywhere. The beef udon was outstanding. Packed with flavor, and a great lunch-sized portion. Service was also on point, which you would expect with a smaller establishment like this. I will definitely be a frequenter as my schedule allows.

Anyone else ate at seoul bistro on 31st and 129th lately? Honestly I was disappointed, we haven't been in for a couple years and it's just not the same anymore. The banchan potatoe is definitely not the same, looks and tastes like it just got scrapped from the bottom of a pot, the kimchi was bland and didn't taste fresh. The table and our glass were sticky. They use disposable chopsticks instead of real metal like before. My galbitang had good flavor but first came out with like 3 glass noodle in it, this was fixed where they put some more. Flavor of soup was still good. The service is also not the same anymore as the Korean lady that was so friendly is not there today. The lady bringing out our food also just slams it on the table and she did that with the other customers too. Overall sad that this restaurant is not like it used to be and it's just not worth the price charged anymore. My soup was $15.99 for the galbitang and the bowl was super small.

Very good!!!! My husband had the pork bulgolgi & I had the bibimbap with bulgolgi & Kimchi. I loved the flavor of all. My husband wished the meat had more of a sear but I still thought it was great. We both loved the potstickers, they looked under cooked but they weren't at all. read more

First Korean place I've tried as I misted moved here. Kimchee was good could not tell if they make any of the ferments in house. I had the hot brisket soup with ferns which was a solid choice and nice to add the rice. I got fresh hot rice that was still sticky and it was good alone with some shoyu. Also had the dumpling which was good but since they refill the pupu's never really need more to eat! I would go back try other soups and fried dishes looked good. Nice hard working ladies. Should support businesses like this! read more

This small restaurant is such a gem. Not many Koreans restaurants around the Tulsa area, so I'm grateful this place is nearby. We were seated quickly and the service was fast. Very busy, but service is quite fast. We ordered the kimbap and it was warm and fresh. Very delicious! read more

Surprisingly good considering it's a small town not known for Asian cuisine. Side dishes were simple yet seem ethnically genuine and tasty. Spicy Galbitjim was great! Very well portioned considering the price. Ps: svc great and restroom clean! Note to self: go back to try other dishes. read more

YUMM!!!! Korean food has easily become one of my favorites, but it's so hard to find really good Korean food in OKC. Although Seoul Bistro isn't in OKC, I know I'll be coming back here every time I'm in Tulsa! I wasn't looking for a big meal, so I opted for the seafood pancake, one of my favorite appetizers found in Korean restaurants. It came with a sweet soy sauce, and I could not enjoy my meal more. The pancake was filled with so much seafood so you're sure to get your money's worth! And despite being an appetizer, this portion was more than enough as a meal - I could barely finish it. My friend, on the other hand, had the tofu soup, and this was really good too! It's spicy, but just at the right level of spicy for me to enjoy it and not completely burn my tongue off. As an entree item, her portion was big, too. Plus they give you the side dishes so we ate quite a bit of food! The servers and owner were so kind to us during our visit, and I wish I could have tried more things on their menu. I can't wait to come back! read more

Hands down the best and most authentic Korean restaurant in town. They have the most delicious ban chan side dishes with free refills. The first time we came, we ordered their Bibim Naeng Myun which came with a hearty amount of spicy cold noodles. We also ordered their Yuk Gae Jang which is a spicy beef stew. The soup tasted delicious and the beef was very tender and tasty. Will absolutely come back for more! read more

So sad to see the original owners go. I've gone about 5 times since the new owners took place. The service is mediocre at best. Our server had filthy fingernails, and that was an immediate turn off. The side dishes no longer taste fresh and homemade. They've also discontinued a few dishes that we used to frequently enjoy. We will no longer dine here. read more

You cannot for go wrong a visit to Seoul Bistro. This is a simple family run establishment with some authentic cuisine and very friendly hospitality. I love the photos of their dishes all around the dining room clearly labeled and well described in the menu. Check out the wonderful table they laid out for me. Outstanding! Great service and great food! What more could you ask for! We got the Dolsot Bibimbap (Bulgogi) and Spicy Galbi Stew. We liked them both, but the Galbi meat itself was a little tough and dry for me. However, I'm not sure if that's how it usually is--my first time trying Galbi! They served both entrees with delicious side dishes! You know it's good food when you only see Koreans eating in the restaurant, and also sweet Korean moms/grandmas serving you. Really enjoyed our experience here. We spoke to the woman at the register, and they're really sweet. They were closed for 2 mos due to Covid, and I think it would be great if more people came in to support them! read more

It's a small but compact restaurant and an above average ambiance. I had a hot stone bibimbap which was extremely delicious. There was a variety of side dishes all of which were very tasty. The server was very friendly and polite. The service was very fast which I appreciated a lot. There was beautiful Korean music as well. One of the best Korean restaurants I've ever been to. I went here on 06/25/13 for a to go order of bulgogi. I was in town for work and dying for a taste of the awesome Korean food back home in Las Vegas. Pick up was less than 15 minutes which was great. The staff was super friendly. Why 3 stars? I believe that food should be good on its own, regardless of where it is located - so it doesn't automatically get 5 stars simply because it's a Korean restaurant in Oklahoma. The bulgogi was fine. Not the best I've ever had but it wasn't bad. The banchan (the little dishes that come with your meal) were just okay and whatever was green was really meh (see picture.) The slaw was actually pretty good. So 3 stars for now until I'm back in Oklahoma - which could be soon as I have family here! read more

This was the best Korean food I have ever eaten ! Thank you so much for such a great experience Seoul Korea!!! I went once with my boss . It was so delicious! I was so sad when I moved here to Tulsa /Oklahoma. I found out in general Oklahoma does not have many or any good places to eat . But this place is by far the only place that flavors there meals ! It wasn't just good the first time ..nope I went again with other coworkers who are born and raised in Oklahoma. They said the same thing I did . This place is a hidden gem . The flavors are always on point . The service each time was always attentive and fast . I now have been back a total of 5 times since my boss took me here . I have never been served so fast before in my whole life. they are always so packed yetvv be there is literally no wait. People know it's good and they flock here on Fridays and the weekend. Every restaurant in the world should take notes from this place . I kid you not ! The food comes out in less than like 10 minutes from when you order it . Plus there's this one waiter . I do not know his name, I need to give him a huge tip ! He remembered me from the first time I came in and has gotten my order right every time since then . He was fast and polite and even recommended me some very good dishes . Seoul Korea is the bomb ! Update! We went back!jjamyong!!!!! So good!! 2 days in a row! Amazing food. Great service. Jjampong! I have been craving it forever and this one was made perfectly. My kids ordered bulgogi and it was delicious! They ate it up! We did have a little bit of left overs but we were STUFFED! Everything was so good! My kids have grown up eating gim and rice and we were so excited to see it on the menu! Gim!! Affordable! Delicious! Clean! We will be back! Loved it!! read more

The neighborhood might seem a little sketchy but the food here is pretty legit. The menu items are priced a little higher than most places but the quality of the food is the best authentic Korean food in Tulsa (which compared to Dallas is not very good unfortunately, but hey you gotta make due with what you have sometimes right?) They have bodicha which you can have served hot or cold. The banchan is excellent and the menu has a lot of variety. I've had the momil bibim guksu and the galbi which were both great. The interior is clean and there is ample parking outside. Nearby is a Korean grocery store which is nice when you need to pick up a few things. The staff can be a mixed bag when it comes to friendliness just FYI. If you like Korean food, give this place a try. read more

Worst Korean food I ever had and I am Korean. Our group had two servings of bulgogi they both tasted different and even looked different. My bulgogi didn't even remotely taste like bulgogi. The side dishes were ok. Wish they made their kimbap with spam instead of imitation crab meat. Bean sprouts didn't have much flavor. Kimchi taste like store bought kimchi but it's too bad Their radish kimchi was delicious as were their Korean pancake and radish kimchi. Very disappointed go elsewhere for a Korean experience. read more

We had recently visited our son and DIL in South Korea and were missing them and some foods that we really liked while we were visiting. This place checked all the boxes. The food is authentic and delicious and the service is outstanding. We ordered kimbap, fried dumplings with pork, beef short ribs and (basically) sweet and sour chicken. Everything was outstanding. The kimbap and fried dumplings brought back a flood of memories as we ate these several times while in SK. ALSO, pickled daikon radish is one of my favorite side dishes. There is a Korean market in the same shopping center so we purchased several items with which to create our own Korean dishes at home! read more

This is my go-to spot for Korean food in Tulsa. I've gone so many times and it's always a hit, never a miss. I've brought so many friends here and they come by themselves now (how dare they?!) The food always comes out HOT, the table is clean and not sticky, and the service is always good. Idk why, but their gyeran-mari (omelette roll) is SOOO GOOD here! I always have to order their yukgaejang (spicy beef and fernbrake soup) even if I know I can't finish it. My only complaint is that I don't get to eat here everyday. read more

We dined for my son's birthday-his choice-for his 18th birthday. Party of 6. We were seated quickly. Unfortunately part of our group was late but we were made to feel welcome. We had two appetizers; dumplings and Korean sushi. The dumplings were the best I have ever had. The sushi was different and good. Two of us had bulgogi. One chicken, one beef and the other pork. All of us agreed it was wonderful. The other entrees were Stir fry squid and fried pork chops. I am told they were good The waitress was efficient and kind. The one minor issue is half of our food came out then two more then the final meal. It wasn't too long but it should come out together. They offer 6 "side" dishes served family style. This place is legit, authentic Korean - from the Korean women cooking up food to the old Korean men eating while watching their iPads. Went for dinner yesterday evening. Ordered two appetizers, and our two meals. I am originally from Koreatown area in Los Angeles and so I had really high hopes. this restaurant is in a strip mall next to a supermarket so dont let that put you off. This was such a great find! Ate with a group of 8, and the staff handled us all wonderfully. There was a mistake with one order and they remade the dish for her. I'm BEGGING you all to please bring back the old lo mein recipe and go back to what you were doing before. There's a reason you survived in that cursed strip mall for so long while so many other businesses failed. With good food and great service at a cheap and affordable price, it's hard not to include Pho Nhi in the list of Favorite Vietnamese Pho in Tulsa Metropolitan Area.

She is still a regular customer, and her photo is proudly displayed on the wall in the restaurant. That says a lot about the history, loyalty, and character of this place. I also accidentally left my credit card behind and did not realize it until about an hour and a half later. I called the restaurant, and the management immediately helped resolve the issue. They kindly arranged to mail it to my home in Los Angeles, and I have now received it safely. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. A special thank you to the management for handling everything so professionally, and to Heather for her kindness, attentiveness, and outstanding service. Say a prayer before eating here because you'll need divine intervention for a good meal. Me and my family of nine came for an authentic Korean meal and we were met with a rude waitress and uninviting atmosphere. Upon arrival the waitress immediately looked annoyed and irritated. We asked for seating and the 20 yr old female waitress with piercings in an insensitive shirt angrily moved the chairs and just pointed for us to sit as if we were animals. After seated we waited for 10mins for our menus just for the waitress to only provide 7 and said we had to share menus. She took our orders and drinks then proceeded to make a racially insensitive "joke" towards my ethnic heritage cousin. With the joke falling flat she had the audacity to appear offended. She left and returned with our drinks, mixed up our drink orders even though it was 6 waters and 3 sodas...not that hard. Once our food finally came after a 30 minute wait we were regrettably met four cold soy chickens, one flavorless black bean noodle, two lackluster honey pork, one stir fried octopus disaster and a oily spineless and disgusting stir fried squid. The stir fry's were supposed to come with miso soup but she forgot and upon reminding the waitress she denied the soup for a side. I took it upon myself to grab a menu from the stack she lied about having and proved to her that they did in fact come with miso soup. She unapologetically confirmed the soup and brought two bowls of "mystery soup". After the stomach churning food and horrid service from a white racist 20yr old female in a culturally insensitive shirt towards step fathers such as my self. We went to pay the bill she then continued to upcharge each meal and by at least 5-10 dollars. If you value your evening and your stomach do not come here. If you want cold food, chilling atmosphere and racist service this is the spot to go. May god have mercy on your soul if you choose Seoul Bistro. read more

Seoul Bistro, you've been on my radar for a while now, and I've had some great times here in the past. But lately, it's like you've hit a rough patch. I popped in recently, hoping to relive the glory days, but I was met with a heat wave that could have roasted a chicken (and maybe even a small child). The AC was MIA, and I was sweating like a sinner in church. And then there was the food. It was...well, it was just okay. Nothing to write home about, nothing that made me want to dance a jig of joy. The donkatsu was a bit soggy, the bibimbap was bland, and the bulgogi was tough as old boots. I'm not one to hold a grudge, Seoul Bistro. I've had some good times here, and I'm willing to give you another shot. But next time, please turn on the AC, and maybe give the kitchen a pep talk. I'm rooting for you! read more

Normally I don't use yelp but someone mad at my 0 tip so I have to copy this here. Below is my Google review and pic 1 is owner's reply. If you still decide to go, be aware of your food it tastes like cooked by a kid or a husky. The only bad thing about this place is always crave it on Sundays! T_T I always want more pickled starters and they always give me more free of charge. The family is so nice and always make sure you're taken care of. Definitely authentic - go there! read more
