I used to have deep acne scars, pigmentation and never went out without makeup. It tooks me years of consistent facials, peels, microneedling, and lasers and now I feel comfortable going out without makeup just spf. I learned that I get much better results if I have clean pores a week or so before doing lasers/microneedling/and skin booster shots. I also used that to clean out my pores at home with similar tools that skincare specialists use but it's just never as clean and not worth it because I've definitely created my own scars. It also said I'm 92% oily but I was wearing beef tallow on my face after working all day to help my dry skin (that has been dry my whole life). Any well trained esthetician would be able to see that the scan was inaccurate. They also didn't ask any questions about current products or skin history to verify whether the scan was accurate or not. They based my treatment on the scan which may or may not be the cause of the issue I ended up with. Treatment: good treatment overall but nothing to compare it to since this was my first Korean facial. My skin had a nice glow afterward. The staff was nice so no complaints there. The products weren't clearly explained and I didn't receive any info about them which was another red flag. Post: 3 days after my treatment I developed dermatitis, as seen in pictures and determined by my dermatologist. It's unclear what caused the dermatitis. Post one week: skin has healed mostly with some redness still around my mouth. No scarring. The staff saw my original review and was very concerned and called me. I admit I should have contacted them first prior to the review. They talked to me at length and asked many questions and they did truly seem to care and want to make it right. They did say that they are tightening procedures and the makeup should have been cleaned off first and said they should have asked about current products. This is something they said they normally do but didn't that day. They had concern about the beef tallow but I didnt use any after the facial, just the products they recommended (and I purchased from them). I don't think that was the cause. They offered another facial (very gentle and healing) and my money back which I appreciate considering I paid $100 for a derm appointment and antibiotics. I haven't taken their offer yet but I do think they were genuinely surprised and caring during the process so I'm changing my review from 1 star to 3.

I've been a montly client for a few months now and I have mixed emotions…read more This is a great location because it's attached to a mall so parking is very easy. When you first get there, they take photos of your face which is very nice to see your progress. After picture taking, they take you to the locker room to change and you have the choice to go to the orange lounge or the sauna. If you go to the sauna, they provide disposable underwear/bralette and a body scrub. They also have two private showers for you to use after the sauna. The orange lounge has hot tea, water, cookies, and apples. Your aesthetician will call you when it's time for your service. If youre plus size, be prepared for the robe and disposable underwear/bralette (used for the sauna) to not properly fit. It's a little confusing why a business such as this wasnt accommodating. Ive asked for a larger robe and underwear/bralette but they were not able to provide it at different occasions. The first time I voiced my concerns to the nurse, she laughed at my face. She mentioned my concerns to one of the front desk ladies and she also laughed in my face. When you're paying hundreds of dollars for services, you would expect a little more respect but I was not granted the courtesy. I voiced my concerns recently and actually got to speak to the manager. She was apologetic, which I appreciated, but it felt like empty words. Customer service in general is also very difficult. You have to book your next appointment months in advance. They confirm your appointment the week of your appointment via text, but theyre often trying to re-schedule your appointment either earlier or later than what is scheduled. Im not sure why they cant just stick to the schedule. It's also very hard to actually get someone on the phone. To be clear - I have enjoyed the actual services Ive received. The aestheticians and nurse Kate have been very nice. I did see results and a difference within a few months, but I believe I'll be able to achieve the same results at other medspas.
