I had to look around and over several stack boxes to look for the flat iron I needed. Why would you have a shipment stack outside on the sales floor during business hours. After I couldn't see the flat iron I needed. I headed to the hair care aisle. Where I noticed she looked up at the mirror to see where I was. Then she noticed me walking to the front where the register was she again did not acknowledge me. So as I walked out I said I guess you don't acknowledge customers in this store. I visited Bliss Nail Bar 1 on Crain Highway for acrylic overlay…read more The application felt unsafe from the start: the acrylic was placed heavily directly on my natural nail/cuticle area (no proper tip support), it hardened in a way that left my nail bed overly compressed, and my cuticle area was trimmed/nipped during the process. I've gone back twice to get them to help the issue before the infection grew. I asked for a removal of the acrylic. Instead she used the machine to sand the acrylic deeper into my skin! I asked for it to be melted off she refused and said it was all off. Which wasn't true. Within days, I developed an infection that required antibiotics. Eventually, the nail fully detached and fell off. I have photos documenting the condition before/after. Ones the nail fell off I can still see the acrylic that was left! Please note it was HER (KATHY) IDEA TO REMOVE MY REAL NAIL AND PLACE THE OVERLAY! This was not a normal side effect--it was a serious complication that affected my health and required medical treatment. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision and so the salon reviews its technique and sanitation/cuticle handling practices. Customer Service is terrible from this incident!!!

She had great energy, knew the pigments and process like the back of her hand, and anytime someone showed her a picture of how they wanted their gloss to look like, she knew immediately what they should add to get it there. The suite was also so cute! This is perfect for celebrating a birthday, bridal shower, Galentine's Day, or a random girls day. This is also something you can do solo or with 1 other friend (there are individual tickets and group tickets). Everything was clean too and there was parking for everyone. The price is $65 per person which is a good deal. Something cool they also now offer is take home kits where you can do it at home. If you do the kit at home, it's $65 for 2 people $125 for 4 people. We had a nice conversation about what products I like and he made a wonderful suggestion when they were out of the mask I wanted. I was given space but was attended to if needed. That was SO refreshing. The customer service at this location was fantastic. And I found multiple new products that I love. More of this please, LUSH! I called, and they told me to come in to get them fixed. They asked me who did my nails, and I couldn't remember his name, but he happened to walk up to the desk. I said it was the man who walked up, and he immediately began questioning me as though he was denying it could have been him. The staff tried to look me up on the computer but couldn't find my visit on 9/17. The nail tech and I proceeded to look for the color we used. I thought I found it, but he just brought me back to his station without finding the color match. He simply filed my nails down to nubs and put a clear coat over them. To no surprise, they started chipping a few days later, and now I am just trying to stretch it out since I paid $130 for a dip mani and pedi. I am mostly frustrated at the fact that he kept saying "it wasn't him" who did my nails. I literally said to him, "I'm not crazy. It was you." I almost followed up with "Unless you have an identical twin brother with the exact same tattoos, it was you." He was obviously annoyed the whole time. The guy even stuck his phone in my face to show me a receipt of some kind. The nail tech next to him said to me, "It couldn't have been him because the only customer he had that day was a dip mani and a pedi." I said, "Yah. I had a pedi too." Insinuating your customers are liars is bad business. And so is doing a poor job not only the first time, but the second.
