They had everything the other store didn't have and then some. I was looking for the GYNORMOUS bottles of pink lotion for my daughter's hair. Her hair is almost down to her waist so I go through this stuff like crazy. The beauty supply store by my house has been out the last 3 times I have been there so I had been buying the smaller bottles (which really pisses me off because they cost double the price of the big ones per ounce). This Saturday I had had it. I wasn't going to buy the small ones just because that was what they had in stock, and set out on a mission to find what I needed. I knew there was a hair store around the Northern Lights area by Kroger so I headed that way. They not only had 1 bottle, they had 3!! So of course, I bought all 3. They had tons of barrettes, hair pieces, beads, anything you could think of for ethnic hair care. This is my new go to location!!!!!!!!

The staff is diverse, so I appreciate product knowledge and personal hair care experience that employees are able to share. I've never had a bad customer service experience in the many years that I've shopped here. I also shop here because this location has the largest selection of gray (salt/pepper) hair products. My exact hair color is difficult to find at other supply stores. Like most large beauty supply stores, they carry a variety of hair, wigs, makeup, jewelry, purses, and hair products but it's the great customer service that separates them from the rest.

I heard about Tiki Botanicals through a partnered Yelp event, when I mentioned that I was unable to attend the event the shopkeeper right away said he would honor the event promo. When you walk in there are paper shoppers bags along the wall you can grab to start putting your goodies in. They offer candles, bath bombs, bar soap, hair products, and more! When you check out you get to pick which tissue paper to use in your bag. So adorable and a great touch. As I was leaving the shop I heard the shopkeepers discussing what they would work on for the day. They were going to pour candles. It was a very Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion moment and it made me smile from ear to ear! I can always find what I need and the staff is helpful to answer any questions I ask. No matter what hairstyle I want to try out, I can find the right products and items to take care of it. If I want the latest brand or if I want to make my own Ayurvedic hair treatments, I can find what I need. The owner is such a sweet lady and she is always willing to help, she even helped me with cutting the lace on a unit before for my protective style. I checked to see if the straps under the wig were adjusted too tight but they weren't. I tried and came to the conclusion that this wig was for a child. I am a thin 5'9" woman with a normal sized head. I read Rose Beauty's return policy stating that they do not accept returns on wigs. I took the wig back the next day and told the lady at the cash register I understood their return policy of no returns, but the wig was made for a child misrepresented as an adult wig & I will take products in lieu of a cash refund. She called said no, then called someone who said no. It is not right they can sell a product under false circumstances and I cannot get a satisfactory result. They will never get a cent from me and I will spread the word about how I was treated.

I couldn't find anything I wanted so I was making my way to the cash register To pay my dollar and by the time I got to the front of the store the guy had called the cashier on her phone to tell her to block the door in case I try to leave without paying the one dollar. I let her know that I heard him make that call, I paid the one dollar that they so desperately needed and left. I will never return back to that store. They clearly have an issue with melanin people and they had the nerve to be playing Christian music over their intercom. I understand why their store was empty.
