I want to preface this by saying this is my go-to Sephora and I love this location, however today I had a very rude encounter with one of their workers. I visited the store around 2:55pm today looking for a specific shade of the EADEM lippies for a graduation present I was making. I went to the section and I couldn't find the specific shade I needed (Bissap Glaze). I approached a group of 3 workers within the skincare area. One of them had blue hair & she had asked me if i needed help prior so I decided to go back to her to see if they had the shade in stock. I had my phone out to show her the shade and before she could respond one of the other workers beside her cut in and blatantly said no. I was so confused because she didn't even know which shade I was showing the other girl on my phone. After an awkward pause, she clarified that whatever was out on the shelf is the only shades available and there were none in the drawer & she would know because she stocked the shelf herself. At first I was just shocked by how blunt she was & her lack of effort to assist. I decided to take the loss and grab a different shade but was still confused because it says that the shade was in-stock online & is available for store pickup. I know that sometimes inventory isn't always accurate. After lining up to check out, I saw that the woman who told me no had left the area. I decided to try my luck and ask another worker who was also there in that original group I approached. I kindly asked her if she could double check if they had the shade because it was in-stock online. She was kind enough to check the drawers and then decided to go check the back. After a few minutes, she comes out with a whole bin of the shade I was looking for! She was so amazing & I highly appreciated the effort she made to actually look and check for the product. I understand that the initial woman was right that they did not have the shade in the drawers but she was just insanely rude and insistent that the shade I was looking for was out when it wasn't. I wish I could've gotten her name, but she had medium brown hair & was wearing a long black sleeve with brown buttons on the side of her arms. Today I decided to invest in myself by creating an appointment for a one on one makeup lesson, coming from not having much knowledge in the field as well as a blank slate when it comes to any form of product and supplies. I had the absolute best experience with Roger! Not only did he do an incredible job on my makeup, but he took the time to truly teach me how to do it myself. He didn't just apply products -- he explained techniques, placement, and why certain products work for my specific features. I feel like he gave me a real foundation to grow my makeup skills with confidence. Makeup can feel intimidating and honestly a little pressured at times, but Roger made the entire experience so comfortable and exciting. His personality is warm, encouraging, and genuinely passionate. He made me feel confident, empowered, and actually thrilled to explore makeup instead of overwhelmed by it. On top of that, the products he recommended were thoughtful and personalized -- not just random suggestions. I walked away not only looking amazing, but understanding why I looked amazing and how to recreate it myself. If you're thinking about booking with Roger -- do it. FIVE STARS ONLY FOR ANNA GIVE HER A RAISE SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND ON HER SERVICE. I asked one Lady and she was very helpful as she brought me to where the location was but there wasn't any in the front. "Sold out" I asked the Manager in the green jacket and she proceeds to delegate it to someone else to check if there was anyone to help check if there was any at another store. Eventually I got to Ana and I am SO grateful because this is the service that I provide as well. She didn't see any in the front, then she checked the side black cabinets and nothing. She felt bad but then was like DONT WORRY LET ME CHECK THE BACK. I wait 5 minutes and she literally comes out with a whole HANDFUL OF 10 IN HER HANDS WITH IT RUBBER BANDED. Eventually we get to the line and not sure why there was only 1 cashier for a bajillion people waiting to pay. As my girlfriend was waiting in line for me I was actually going to ask Ana to see if she can ask the manager to call someone to the registers. COME TO FIND OUT SHES ALREADY HELPING OUT AT THE REGISTER. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Daisy helped us as we paid with card so 5 STARS FOR HER TOO! Management wise could be improved. read more

Incredibly poor customer service. My experience was the worst I've ever gone through in any store in any state or country I visited. Employees dress in vulgar outfits, then act as if they're insulted if the customer acts surprised. Then the customer is whispered about and ignored. Jeffrey helped my friend and I, he was AMAZING!!! He matched her foundation, concealer, corrector, and contouring to perfection. I helped her letting him know what coverage, skin complexion and final look plus wear to go for. I got some goodies myself along the way (House of labs white foundation corrector and loose powder, huda eyeshadow palette and sunscreen). He made me a few sunscreen samples since I been having a hard time finding the perfect one for me. I love how he taught her the right technique to apply and his higiene (which is crucial). I'm a huge ILIA fan because of the healthy ingredients. And my holy grail Anastaisa Beverly Hills eyebrow products. I also got some eye shadow pallets for doing smokey eyes. This was my first time using Natasha Denona. They seem to be highly pigmented and stay just as well as other eye shadows. Overall, not a bad haul for Sephora. The line went fast. I went into Sephora as a Walk-In to get a Beauty Lesson. I first went to the one in the Crystal Court side, and they didn't have any artists in that day and told me to go into the one on the SCP side. So, I walked over and was told Roger was available. We decided to go with a Ultimate Glam session because it offered more time and he could really focus on showing me the basics. Roger was fun, friendly and didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing how to do basic things. We got along so well and my makeup looked AMAZING! I was so happy with it. I told him I was coming in just to have a me day, since it was my birthday today. When he was done, I have never felt more beautiful, and I felt so confident in my makeup! When we went to check out, we had two condescending sales associates that referred us to a manager although we hadn't asked to speak to one. Michaela, the presumed manager, walked over to continue the condescending conversation, and inform us she would not price match to the posted price. We requested the district managers contact information to inform them of this experience. Michaela walked away, we walked her direction, she said someone else was grabbing the district managers card. Instead, another manager came to speak with us, Stephanie, and she was much more pleasant and offered to price match due to the incorrect marketing placed at the end cap. Hoping the district manager reviews her team at this location and considers a change in leadership, but not Stephanie, she was great. read more

Never thought to leave a review for a store before, but after the service I experienced the other day I felt I needed to praise this employee. I'm bummed I can't remember if her name was Monica or Monique but she has fun orange colored hair and flawless skin. Anyway my point in this review is to say how exceptional she was. I feel customer service is dead and has been dead for years and while Sephora typically does have better service than majority of stores Monique went above and beyond. Maybe she is just a kind person, maybe she enjoys her job. Whatever it is your store is so lucky to have her. She took me through out the store guiding me through my many questions introducing me to new products all without being pushy, overselling or trying to rush me. She was kind, informative and listened very well to what I needed. Also I think something to note is I went in with a gift card intending only to spend the money that was on that gift card ($40). I left having spent an additional $150 out of pocket and am still very happy with my purchase. I have zero buyers remorse because again she spent the time with me, understood what I wanted and after applying all the products twice now I'm so incredibly happy. In the past after listening to some sales associates I have felt like I fell for something but not at all here. Hoping she gets at least a pat on the back I guess. I came here during Black Friday, and the store was hectic as expected, but the employees were super helpful. I had tons of employees ask me if I needed help. I wish I caught this employee's name, but she was so helpful in shade matching me for concealer. I wanted the Glossier Stretch concealer, but it was so patchy and dry under my eyes. She recommended the Tower 28 Serum concealer which I absolutely loved! The store was really clean for how crazy full the store was. I was so surprised. I bought a product from Sephora on May 17 however, my mother passed away on May 24 and I did not have the time for the fourth thought to go before June 21. I googled their return policy in the Internet had said that after 30 days until 60 days, you can get store credit, under 30 days you get a full refund.I explained to the cashier that my mother had recently passed away and she got a manager who told me that their return policy changed two months ago and she's sorry there's nothing she could do. I think this is deplorable in today's age of retail. I will never shop there again. They should have some kind of grace period for customers. I was only four days off. I go to this Sephora because it's convenient to get in and out quickly. Every time I'm at the Tower 28 section, Vamp is there to help me. Every time. She is sooo sweet and is happy to do color matches. She also wears the product and was able to give her opinion which was very helpful. I was also in the perfume section and a lady who I believe is named Deborah was helping me. She has many years of experience working with perfumes and was able to recommend me some that I might like based on the notes I prefer. She was so kind and spent a lot of time with me as the store wasn't very busy. I was so impressed by her knowledge and hope to see her there again.
