The employees here are always very helpful and knowledgable!! I like to come here to look for cologne, and they always give me great suggestions and help me find what I'm looking for. Horrible customer service at this location. I'm a VIB member so I shop at Sephora often. I came to the Town Square location, which I never go to when I'm in Vegas, and bought a little over $200 worth of products. When I got to the hotel and opened the bag, I was missing a brush. I called the store right away to see if they could issue a refund or mail it to me since we were leaving the next day, and just didn't have time to go back there for one brush. The manager whom I spoke with, Jill, was nice enough but essentially said they couldn't do anything for me unless I was physically in that particular store. She said she could try to transfer it to a different Sephora in Vegas but again, we just didn't have time with everything else we had going on during our short trip. I asked if they could transfer it to a store in CA close to where I live, but that wasn't an option (which I don't understand at all). So the end result is I'm out $16 for a brush that they made the mistake of not putting in my bag. The least they could've done was offer me a gift card or something to make up for the fact that I spent money on nothing. Great customer service, guys. I stopped by to pick up a couple of items and ended up sitting in a free makeup class on highlighting and contouring, which is all the rage now right? It lasted about an hour and a half, and they had a lovely classroom setup in the store with tables and seating, makeup and brushes for us to use. Peter was our instructor and it was obvious why he was the makeup director for all of Las Vegas. He was full of great information and definitely made highlighting and contouring a practical application and look for us instead of the super crazy drag queen look some girls take on. Dulce was assisting and she was wonderful as well. I took before and after photos and could definitely see a difference in my makeup application after trying Peter's techniques. I'm not one who listens very well to makeup lessons and prefer pros to do it for me, but I have definitely used Peter's techniques ever since this class. read more

The staff cares more about steaming the table cloths and putting flyers out than helping their customers. Do not come here if you are not just going in and out and already know what you want-- God forbid you want to ask for a make up wipe, you'll be waiting forever. But I should back up and start from the beginning to the terrible greeting we received. I mean ALL of the energy got sucked out of us when we walked in to the most monotone and bland "Hi Welcome in" I've ever received. Then I asked for help TWICE and after about 8 minutes of still waiting without being helped and watching 3 reps who were 5 steps away from me who easily could've assisted me, steam iron a tablecloth, I decided to walk out and spend my money elsewhere. And to make it worst, one of them happened to be the manager! She never apologized, or tried to step in to assist! I'm not sure if it was because of our skin color, or if they really are just notorious for 1 star customer service, but if you don't want to be ignored, and want to feel welcomed, then this isn't the store for you. I used to love shopping here but last time I was in I was not impressed by the customer service. I let a male know I wanted to try some products on. He said Oh I dont think we have any one who can help you right now. They were fully staffed and he was an associate why couldnt he help me ? Then he said oh she can help u rudely. I believe her name was Liz she was very nice and helped me apply my makeup products and was very informative on how to use them etc. She had to leave and when she left I saw an advertisement for a free hair product demo I asked a manager and she asked an associate to help me the associate replied " I wasn't trained in that." (idk how a manager can be ok with that response), Then the manager told me it would be about ten mins and she could have another associate help me. I walked around the store 20 mins passed so I asked again and they said a few more minuets. I went to check out and told the cashier about my experience. She allowed me to check out and instead of her offering to show me the demo I had to ask her so she took me over and did. She apologized for my experience. The employees here are lazy and want their coworkers to do everything for them they are also rude and not accommodating especially to a vib member like me. I spend a lot of money at Sephora and I should be treated nicely. I think I will go to a different location next time. They need to step it up! read more

really annoyed. called prior to coming by and chose the option for hours of operation on holidays and it just simply says christmas and thanksgiving times. I chose to be connected to a representative and it wouldn't work. drive all the way down here to find out they closed at 7 today for fourth of july. If you're going to have an option to list special hours then list all of them especially if its hard to get connected to an actual person. waste of time read more

This place makes me uncomfortable. Not only this location , but Caesars as well. I walk into Sephora to shop with my boyfriend . Less then ten minutes later security of the lot shows up. This happened all three times at Caesars and yesterday at town square. We were heavily watched in a crowded store. Security came in and walked past is 4 TIMES in different locations of the store. Managers watched us . I felt uneasy and discriminated against. I'm white looking but that shouldn't matter. I called later telling them about my concern. No managers could get on the line. They just apologized and said they come in "randomly "and gave me town square security number. I called the security and told them and asked if they were called in to go to Sephora and they said they were just about the time we had walked in to walk around t. We later walked into Caesars to test our theory , again we were heavily watched. I know they have our faces captured and they shouldn't be. We aren't criminals and I'm not letting this go. I want to be taken off their "watch list" . This will not stand . read more

Something has changed at this Sephora location. I have been going here for years, and always had a great experience. Not anymore! The last few times have been unpleasant. Seems the employees have changed. I have found them rude, pushy and not very knowledgeable on their products.. Will be going to a different Sephora location from now on. read more

OMG!! Can I just say how AMAZING this Sephora is I had a bad experience at my downtown Summerlin Sephora so I made the long drive down to town square but at this point I had already given up and just wanted to return what I had bought! The issue was that when I originally made my purchase Sephora was so busy that I forgot to use a gift card that I had so I was really upset and when I went to Sephora on downtown Summerlin the manager there just didn't have the patience to help me out! But when I came to town square ANGIE was just so professional and amazing I can't thank her enough for her help also the manager there was very nice.. I think I'll be making the long drive to town square whenever I need to purchase from Sephora! read more

Worst Sephora store I ever stopped on my life. Not even comparable at my local stores in Arizona. Came to Vegas and made a quick stop to this location grab something I forgot. No help from any stuff, no greeting. And when check out, I guess it's a new cashier, doesn't even know how to scan reward card on my phone or able to use digital gift cards from Sephora Website. Stuck at cashier for 20 minutes before she figure out something to work. And after purchase, I realize those points never made to my account, lol. It's only about 100 points so it's not even worth my another stop. Will never come back in this store, it's totally a joke!!!! read more

I am a regular Sephora customer who went in for a " make-up check-up" I worked with shantelll who was wonderful. She helped me tweak some of the products I am using and validated that many were just right for my skin type and age. If you are looking for some great customer service - ask for her when you stop in- or better yet take a drive over and see her- she will help you look gorgeous ! read more

okay so... i wrote a review for this sephora two years ago, and i gave it five stars. i have always gone to this sephora, i'm vib rouge, and up until the new sephora in the district opened this was the closest one to me. in the past year, i have completely stopped going into this sephora store. the last time i went, i had the intentions to walk around for a bit, smell perfumes, and try the pat mcgrath eyeshadows before taking the plunge and purchasing. i was super excited because they finally carried her makeup in store! however, as soon as i walked in, the blonde gentlemen at the door gave me a really weird look, even my boyfriend commented on how he seemed to give me a dirty stare when he said "welcome" in a really unfriendly way. i felt a little awkward, and given that pat mcgraths stuff was by the door where he was standing, i uncomfortably stood there. he kept shooting looks my way and then another coworker came over and they started talking. neither asked if i needed help etc and then the man finally approached me and asked if i needed help in a rude way and seemed to look me up and down. the whole thing made me really uncomfortable, like he was "sizing" me up. i normally would have gone into a sephora and purchased 3 or 4 things and spent quite a bit but my boyfriend and i both were just ready to leave. read more

I was so excited to visit Sephora with my $250 gift card. After a few cosmetic surgery procedures I was ready to try some new products and learn some new techniques. Armed with recommendations from my surgeons nurse I entered Sephora. I was immediately ignored and made to feel I did not belong there. Finally, after literally standing in the way at the front of the store, I was asked if I needed help. The girl said she would send someone over. I was left standing there all alone with no one ever to return. Again, holding my position and standing in the way near the store entrance, another clerk approached me to ask if I needed something. Yes, thank you. I didn't come in just to kill 15 minutes standing in your doorway. Not having the Lancôme foundation that I wanted to try I was given two options; and then a shrug of her shoulders. That's it. Two choices, take it or leave it. One option WAY too yellow, and the other provided no coverage whatsoever. Not happy with either choice I moved on to the Laura Mercier concealer that was recommended. Not given this product as an option, I was again offered two choices. This time another clerk was pressed into service so I had two clerks staring me down. Looking ridiculous with heavy overdone concealer that did nothing more than highlight the under eye circles I knew this was a losing battle. They either don't know what they're doing or don't care; or both. From the looks of the one clerks foundation (again TOO yellow) and the inappropriate concealer that was applied I would guess they don't know what they're doing. Without a doubt the worst service and attitude I have ever received at a cosmetics counter/store. Inexperienced incompetent staff that for some reason seem to feel that they're quite special and above it all. Thankfully Ulta was just a few stores away. Hesitating, thankfully I did go in and was greeted warmly. Felicia is great (and very pretty with beautifully applied make-up) and immediately offered me a seat, unlike Sephora that just let me stand. After sampling many new products, and those that I wanted to try, and learning some new techniques I made my purchases and left very happy and satisfied. My suggestion is take a clue from how you are greeted the minute you first walk into the store, and then to look at the clerks and how they do their make-up. Is this someone you would want to look like? Thankfully I spent my +$278 at Ulta. (I did call my bank that issued the Sephora gift card and they are refunding my account for the Rewards points I used and I can choose another store; which will be Ulta or Nordstrom.) read more

The worst service. I don't buy anything full bottle until I know the product works with me. I wanted a few samples and these people, the male with streaks in his hair, decided to butt in while I was being helped and told me that they can only give me 3 samples. I have been a Sephora shopping member for years (10 + years), and I have shopped at numerous locations and never had anything like that happen to me. I was dressed in my yoga clothes, so I wasn't all fancy so these workers decided to act all snooty. I was being nice and the girl helping me was actually very polite till the male worker came around and decided to be rude and snooty. I have been given ample amount of samples at various locations in Las Vegas and San Diego so this worker was lying and full of it. You people work customer service, so act nice to your customers instead of being snooty know it all and wannabes. I'll be calling corporate! read more

I normally shop at ulta(because they use to not carry my makeup I use, and I like their point system better) but I was on the hunt for a face mask..so I walked in here yesterday and the greeter greeted me asked if I need help I said I was looking for a face mask. She said their was someone back there that can help me. So I walk back started looking at brands I know and I see the guy just walking back and forth. Um I know for a fact if your in skincare and you see someone in skincare you always ask if they are doing okay looking for something specific. No he just acted if I wasn't there. (I was the only one in skincare, so it's not like he was busy) He would go to the mirror stare at himself, spray stuff on his face. I would walk right in front of him. At this point I'm just waiting to see if he ever decides to approach me. Nope never did so I decided to walk out and glad I only shop at ulta. And this is coming from someone that use to work here. I hate writing bad reviews but this really irritated me. read more

My daughter went to this Sephora...she was so excited to find out that the Town Center had a Sephora (we are from Calif) so after dinner she went with her friend to go do a little shopping. They bought what they wanted and on her way out the door a worker followed her and her friend out and said I did not want to embarrass you in the store but I noticed you took items without purchasing them also known as stealing. she proceeded to look through there bags and compare the items with their receipts and they matched, she then looked through there purses after telling them come on admit you took something. After looking through there purses she still found nothing. she said well them were are the eyelashes...they walked her back in and showed her where they were and she then said okay you two can leave. No I am sorry for accusing you of stealing nothing. My daughter and her friend then left and my daughter was so mad that she walked back in returned her purchase and asked to see her manager and went completely off..the manager did appoligize but the worker said nothing. I am her mom and I an not happy at all my daughter had to go through this. She is a black girl and I think that had something to do with all this. the worker is denying going through my daughters purse to top it all off. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE especially if you are black. read more
