I placed an online order for lashes. They were delivered to an address in CA & I live in Fl !

Usually I never want to write a review for a store in the mall but after having such a negative experience I knew I had to share. I used to LOVE coming to this Sephora. It was always well stocked, the employees tended to keep to themselves and it wasn't as congested like the Sephora in Dadeland. That all changed when I came to exchange a fragrance that I was given as a gift. First, I went to the fragrance section only to notice that most fragrances are kept in locked cabinets. Usually not an issue if there is a dedicated employee who is paying attention. The staff member working the fragrance section was actively trying to avoid anyone asking them questions, walking around the section and evading eye contact. After 15 minutes of trying to get their attention, they finally opened the locked drawer and let me know that I would not be able to hold onto the fragrance as I shopped around, it would be waiting for me at the counter behind the cash wrap. Between the locked cabinets and the not being able to hold on to what you want to buy, I was already feeling uncomfortable. When it came time to pay, everything went significantly down hill. You know there is a problem when you have four or five people on cash wrap and the line doesn't budge. Finally it was my turn. I greeted the staff member (no response but an eye roll and a pop of their chewing gum) and let them know I was here to exchange this brand new, sealed perfume for the one behind them. They proceed to completely open the package, spray the perfume, smell it, spray it again only for me to be asked (with attitude) "did you use it?" (No but you just did...) I told them no and they proceeded to ask me to approve the return. I reminded them I wanted to exchange but they were trying to hurry me up so they just ignored me and shoved the receipt at me. I had to get upset and remind them once again that I was doing an exchange for a fragrance behind them. They let me know that I had completed a return and that I couldn't purchase the fragrance. I reiterated again that i wanted to purchase the other fragrance. During the whole exchange I was given attitude, eye rolls and pops of chewing gum. After getting a manager involved I FINALLY got the perfume I wanted and booked it out of there. I think this Sephora could benefit from better employee training and management. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. read more

So my experience was interesting here. I went during the sale, which is always super busy - and that's fine. I had a face of makeup so clearly I know what I'm looking for. I ask one person for the Huda area, and she shows me and then I ask someone about if I have the right shade on, instead of answering me, she tells me "you should look at this other foundation" - and takes me to Patrick Ta - I said "no, I want Huda, I just need a double check on color" - and she said no, "Patrick Ta is so wonderful" blah blah blah - I told I tried it and don't like it. But she didn't care what I wanted. I eventually asked a few other associates that helped me with the Huda products, but it was so bizarre. I know at some places people are working on commission for some brands, but seriously - I knew exactly what I was looking for. Anyway - I don't live in Miami, so not something I really have to deal with here, but people - don't let people push you around to what they want to sell you. read more

I'm not into makeup, I'm useless when it comes to that department, but I needed one specific product, this was the closest Sephora for me, so I went today for the 1st time. I found it to be a small store but I wanted to give credit to the staff today. The 1st person I approached was busy with a customer and was very apologetic, but I was immediately approached by Michael who was super friendly and helpful, and helped me find what I needed right away. And when I was in line to pay the 1st person checked on me to see if I still needed a hand. I left happy. Props to the employees. read more

The customer service in this place is fantastic. I went in looking for a foundation and Leo was true example of customer service. He did not just take his time explaining how to properly use a foundation, he demonstrated it on me. I walked out Sephora looking like a brand new me hahaha . Honestly such bad experiences. Every single time i go withtout fail i get employees following me whether im alone or with friends. they constantly ask me if i need something and it just makes me not want to get anything. they will take you to checkout even if your not ready to buy anything and one time i was practically just forced to buy something. I don't know her name but this lady with curly hair, young, and on the chubbier side always bothers me and it makes me never want to come back there again. A girl at Sephora is like a Princess in her kingdom. I love this place and this location was impecable but a little tight in space compared with others I have been to. Two ladies approached me to see how they can help me and I liked that. They have a rewards program. The prices are great because after I went to Sephora I checked and compared with other stores and things like my perfume was $30 less in Sephora, so it's a big difference. This location is smaller than the others but still very well stocked. There's always someone offering to help almost immediately but without that incessant vibe which helps because I sometimes don't even know what I want. If you're a Sephora insider, you will earn points on purchases with perks towards future purchases. Luckily, the samples are abundant so finding your specific color is easy due to great lighting and accesible applicators. If you want your makeup done by a professional, you will need an appointment but it's well worth it. Looking and feeling your best starts from within but no one said you couldn't add mascara. read more

I'm a frequent Sephora visitor - my VIB rouge status is obvious proof. Therefore when I took my sister in law to buy her first foundation I was sorely disappointed with the condescending and insulting sales associate that helped us kept undermining my make up knowledge and refused to acknowledge my presence. She only wanted to make sales, expensive ones at that, and kept telling my sister in law it was her skin and not mine. Ultimately, my sister in law bought the basics she needed, because that $74 dollar moisturizer was not a must for her and I made it known. Asia didn't appreciate my candidness, and in turn I didn't appreciate her demeaning sales tactics. Asia should learn how to be quiet, learn how to listen to the client and their needs and stop imposing her make up preferences. Worst experience at Sephora I have ever had. Reviewing after my 2nd visit. This store never has anything in stock. They don't even offer to call another location to see if they have the product. My 2nd experience was HORRIBLE. After being helped by Anais who was helping me pick a foundation, it turned out they didn't have it. The floor manager quickly insisted that I place the order online in the store. I kindly ask the manager to call Dadeland Sephora since its on my way and she wasn't to pleased. She had no patience and gave up trying to make a customer happy. Her excuse was that Dadeland was to buy to check! Really? And then I heard her tell all the employees on the piece to not offer clients things we don't have. My daughter went to the store today with her friend at international mall in Miami and they were swatching the TRY ON makeup and a lady took her brush and told accused them of trying to steal and continued to follow them around the store. They were at the store for 30-40 minutes looking at products and the lady followed them at ALL times. My daughters friend was walking down a isle and the lady turned around and screamed in her face because she got "scared" by her friend and then touched her arm playing it off as a joke. The lady would even listen to their conversations.. she asked "do you need anything" constantly. My daughter and her friend were adding the prices of the products to see how much it would cost and the lady took the basket with their products and said "let me take it to the cashier to see how much it'll cost" and once she did, she never gave back the basket and kept it at the counter and continued to follow them. Once me and the friends mom came into the store, she suddenly ran to the break room. This happened at around 7-7:30 at international mall in Miami Florida, the worker had short hair and blonde.. like the "Karen" hair cut. read more

This Sephora never has anything in stock and the employees are laughable. They're extremely rude stare down at you like you're less than them meanwhile their make up looks like it was done by a two-year-old. I love this Sephora! What makes this Sephora different from the others is its employees. They are so nice and down-to-earth here. They're always willing to go above and beyond to help you and they definitely help build your confidence. I started taking the free beauty classes -- which are offered twice a month and are about 1.5 hours long -- five months ago and I cannot stress how much I've loved them! My skincare routine, smokey eye, contouring, and more has really improved ever since I've started taking these classes! The instructor Giselle and the other cast members who help (Jenna and many others) are amazing. This location is always clean, has lots of stuff, never has long lines, and has nice employees. I went to the Sephora in Dadeland mall and had a wonderful time. EVERYONE was helpful and I even had my mini makeover and bought every product they used on my face. I live closer to intl mall and needed to buy concealer and a few more palettes so I went here and asked two girls a few questions like if they carry the marc jacobs palette or if they have the multi brush and answered my question, scoffed, and walked away. Finally! Sephora has finally opened a legit store at International Mall (NOT JCPENNY) and it's right by my house. I no longer have to fight through traffic to get to Dadeland Mall and then battle it out for parking. I made the discovery yesterday after giving up on driving all the way to Kendall Drive during rush hour. This location recently opened and I couldn't be more thrilled. Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly staff who were more than willing to spend time with me and help answer all of my questions. I even got to schedule a make-up appointment. The store has a better layout than the Dadeland location and I can't wait to start coming here for my everyday beauty products. read more

For a smaller Sephora, this is one of my favorite locations. I actually prefer going here to the one at Dadeland Mall or Aventura- though they have bigger selections. The difference is the staff. Each associate is down to earth and has a passion for cosmetics. Danielle is an great example of how knowledgeable and friendly their staff is. They're all approachable and assist you in a timely manner. If you have not visited this location yet, you should next time you need something from Sephora. They're amazing! read more

Horrible experience, I went to this Sephora with my girlfriend. I had gone to go see the skin care stuff for my face while my girlfriend was looking to buy makeup. I had one of the employees come up to me and ask me if I needed help, which I responded to saying that I was just looking right now. This same employee stayed right next to me just picking up a product and putting back exactly how it was so I knew she was just looking at me to make sure I didn't steal when I was genuinely looking for something for my pores. I left the store mad as this was the fourth time this had happened to me at this store with the same employee. I never got her name but it was a older women with short red hair. read more

If I could give 0 I would. I never write bad reviews but I absolutely had the worst experience ever here. I had to search for a worker to help me for her to tell me I had to ask another girl. I asked the one she was speaking of to help me with the correct shade of foundation. She told me she would finish up and come right to me. I waited for 20 mins to find her helping other customers and completely ignoring me. I told the check out lady about my bad experience when she asked and she was in such a rush to get me out she me she didn't even give me my birthday gift. I reminded her at the end she did get it for me, but all around bad experience. Will not be back to this location and might even choose Ulta over Sephora in general. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! i was treated like an inconvenience by the employees when i asked a simple question "what waterproof foundation do you have?". I asked 2 employees and they didn't know and was rudely brushed a side and was told to find someone else..there was no one else. The store was not busy yet i waited for an exceptionally long time for any assistance. The employees are incompetent and unpleasant and I recommend going to the Dadeland or Aventura store where the service is great and the employees actually do there jobs in a professional RESPECTFUL manner. read more
