I truly don't understand all the bad reviews of this Sephora. Every time I've gone here the floor staff have been super friendly without being overly pushy. It does seem that this exact issue is a common theme in the negative reviews of this store though, so it's something to think about. Just noting that it's something that I, personally have ever experienced. A couple weeks ago I was shopping here on a Saturday afternoon and a woman working for Dyson approached me and asked to style my hair. She did an AMAZING job, and was very knowledgeable about the product, and didn't make me feel like I was obligated to now spend over $500 on it since she had just styled my hair. read more

Here I was ready to drop $200-$500 on perfumes when a store associate with purple/pink hair came up to me. I was smelling perfumes sp obviously I dropped my mask slightly down to smell the scents I wanted. This store associates came up to me to tell me that I needed to pull my mask up. I told her, how am I supposed to smell the perfume. She said, my manager said you can smell it through your mask. So I went to Macy's and made my perfume purchase. read more

I received a gift card to Sephora and I was reluctant to return based on my horrible experience around a year ago. The store has a new staff, and I was treated with proper customer service and professionalism. I'm really grateful that the store now has employees who greet guests appropriately, are eager to help patrons, and seem happy to be in the store. Have not been at it best since the pandemic... the line at the register have been absolutely long with having one cashier. Not sure why they continue to have one cashier during this time. And there are a few workers there who just standing around. Why not help out your fellow cashier? And then I have to wait as long for someone to assist me. This is every single time. And due to the long line with one cashier, I often find myself getting out of the line and putting things back on the shelf and just leave. I'm at this point where I will no longer be returning to this Sephora location ever again. Will only be shopping at Ulta from now on. Advice: try to have more than two cashier to help out to expedite the line. Or hire more hands to help your cashier out and help out with customers with what they're looking for instead of gossiping. read more

The make up selection is strong, and the store is good at keeping things in stock consistently. The layout and operation of the store could be better. When it's busy, the staff and management are seemingly running around, which negates that peaceful, serene atmosphere I enjoy when shopping for make up. I have been to many boutiques that are extremely busy, but due to the management and atmosphere of staff, it never feels hectic. The experience of the staff varies- sometimes you will get someone assigned to a brand that they know nothing about and you're on your own, and sometimes you will come across someone who has wonderful suggestions and is eager to help and provide insight. Overall, I rate this store 4 stars because the selection of product is very consistent and although the operations could certainly be improved, the majority of the employees seem very kind and polite. My recommendation is to go in knowing what you want, because depending on how busy the store is and who is assigned where, the staff may or may not be able to provide insight. read more

Horrible girls. am a regular there and every time the same experience rude arrogant non professional divas who by the way are not that good in makeup either. Rudest staff ever! Always follow you and stare at you as if you were about to steal something. When you ask questions they look at you like you are a pile of trash. Yesterday I asked if they had the item I needed in stock, they said they ran out of it. I asked if they know when they will get it back in stock, and they spelled out in a very rude manner: "W-E R-A-N O-U-T O-F I-T", like I'm deaf or stupid. This is your typical Sephora that most of us girls love and cherish. But one thing did catch my attention today...As I was testing out a mascara, a sales associate came over to me and told me not to use the mascara wand that the brand had designed for hygenic reasons. I understand what she was saying, but I think everyone going into Sephora knows the risk when they try out the samples...I thought the point of having the makeup out was to try them. Especially considering half of what makes a mascara -in particular- GREAT is the design of the wand. I was hoping I could find a great mascara today, but unfortunately I couldn't get a good sense of any of the products without trying the exact models and ultimately felt uncomfortable about my shopping experience. read more

My daughter just began her 4-6 month journey on Accutane. It's been a week and already the side effects have started. Her skin is extremely dry and flakey. Last night we went to Sephora (Nashua) in hopes of getting makeup that would provide the right coverage, tone, etc. to help her get through this rough journey. We are grateful that we met Kelly & Lauren. They were so understanding and knowledgable. They spent so much time with my daughter making sure that she got just the right product (color, coverage, hydration, etc). They were so sensitive to what she is going through. I can't say enough about the care that we received. Today she went off to school feeling confident with her appearance! Thank you SO much!! read more

I try to avoid this Sephora as much as possible as they think it's smart to have the rudest employee ring out customers at the cash wrap. The young woman has long black curly hair and lifeless eyes devoid of any soul. If you see her, you will know right away who I am talking about. Luckily, the poor treatment I've received was not exclusive to just me but to anyone that she rang up. I think she may have muttered 2 words per transaction. What's the point? She hates people so why don't they put her on stocking duties away from the nice paying customers. Currently Sephora is running a promotion where they offer Free Mini Makeover. There's a poster at the entrance of the store, firmly stating Free Mini Makeovers are offered, walk-ins are welcomed. I walked in with 2 young girls, 6th graders, one of them white, the other of Indian descent. They requested the free Makeover only to be told to come back in 20 minutes because there was no makeup artist available to do it on the spot. That was at 7 pm. We went back 30 minutes later, when two employees simply looked down on my girls, from head to toe, and arrogantly told them the Free Makeover is available only if you purchase something. Total lie. They simply decided my girls weren't good enough for the free service (Could have been very well the race or the cloths the girls were wearing). They were simply lied to by two grown women, employees hired by the company to treat everybody with decency and respect. We didn't get any of it. I checked the poster and there was no message saying you need to buy something in order to get free Makeover. I'm the one who buys makeup all the time at that store, but that wasn't good enough. When I confronted the first woman who asked my girls to come back in 2o minutes, she gave me another lame excuse or lie, saying that the free Makeover is not available after 6 pm. I remind you, she was the one who asked the girls to come back in 20 minutes. As I was talking more and more, presenting this unacceptable behavior on their part, the first woman, who turned out to be the manager, threw me out of the store because I called her out on her lies. She simply couldn't cope with the fact that I had all the arguments against their poor behavior. Not at any given moment they apologized or tried to make the situation better, they simply threw me out of the store because that's how they deal with paying customers. The worst experience of my life, two little girls who were spending a vacation day at the mall, were treated like garbage by 3 grown women, based on our appearances. We might be of a different color, or we might not wear designer cloths, but we didn't deserve that kind of treatment. We ended up going to Bare Minerals where the girls tried all sorts of makeup and bought something eventually. I will never ever shop at Sephora again. read more

Went on a Wednesday before the holidays, picked up a lot of stuff to purchase as gifts. Had someone ring me up on one of their remote/iphone devices...used two different gift cards, then my debit card to pay the balance. Gift card one, knocked down the price by it's amount...gift card two the same...had to enter my pin when the device 'froze'...okay let's try one, two, three more times before we move to the register. Then let's try 10 more times because now the gift cards are showing a zero balance. Get (one of) the managers Laura...who looks at me like, "well these gift cards have a zero balance" when I let her know because they were ALREADY SWIPED!! Now she's going to try 10 more times and when I asked if my debit card was charged, she shows me a receipt that's voided. The same receipt also showed the two gift cards at zero, so I don't trust it...everything was run through multiple times. "I have to call them in" which takes ANOTHER 30 minutes! Almost an hour later and some cheap, free samples, Ann the store manager gives me a dismissive, "oh well, it's technology, it happens" answer. Sorry to interrupt your lunch Ann... FYI - even the district manager, Todd Cohen, acknowledged the 'technological issues' the store has.Sorry Sephora...not good enough. My time is worth more than your sorry answers... read more
