From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Ely, who was genuinely kind and welcoming. I've been to locations where they hand you a bag before even saying hello, but that wasn't the case here. Ely took her time asking what I was looking for, and when I explained, she not only introduced me to the newest scents but also included my sons by showing them some of the men's options. I really appreciated how she explained the current promotions in a way that made it easy for all of us to benefit. I also had a reward to use and picked up a Brazil travel-size spray mist--such a good choice! While they didn't have the Peach Blossom in a gift set just yet (I'm still holding out until closer to May 10 ), the visit still gave me great ideas not just for myself, but for my mom too. I love that that Bath & Body Works stores have fragrances, lotions, car fresheners, skin oils, candles, linen fresheners etc. Another standout was Susie, the store manager, who was just as sweet and helpful. Neither Ely nor Susie made me feel pressured to buy anything that day. In fact, they even took the time to show me how to navigate the app so I could have my mom's gift shipped to a location near her--now that's customer service! Ok, I'm looking for something metallic. I needed something other than the usual picture frame or keychain. There are a couple of store associates, and the friendly gal helps me narrow down some items. She made sure to verify the engraving: layout, font, message, spelling, etc. She gave me an approximate time for me to return when the engraving would be ready. The engraving was not ready as promised so I had to come back another day. Disappointing, but not devastating since I had time before anniversary day. All in all it was ok, except for the one hiccup. Nice people, clean engraving, but the goods were not delivered on time.

My family ordered a gorgeous bouquet for me on my wedding anniversary on 5/5 (my spouse passed away…read morerecently). They were breathtakingly beautiful - two dozen red roses and stargazer lilies. Five stars. They lasted four days, hence the two star review. I am so disappointed I was not able to enjoy them for even a week. Normally a couple will droop or die and can be pulled to save the arrangement but when I woke up yesterday morning EVERY SINGLE ROSE was collapsed - and most of the lilies too. Initially I thought it was a liquor store, maybe because of the beautiful bottles depicted. The lettering also intrigued me and transported me to 'exotic lands'. On my way back to San Diego I decided to stop by after reading the stellar reviews on Yelp. The owner and alchemist was as other have commented super patient explaining everything from oils used, perfume notes and demoieng the deliciously smelling incense that were like precious stones. I got to smell a $250 incense that was teletransporting me to paradise. I promise him that when I get my next full time job I will totally buy that one. For today I was happy to get some creations that reminded and were names as the perfumes Coco and Chance of Chanel. Loved them and soooo accurate smells. Then got the famous Oud, darker and strong. Smells like Arabian Nights or I imagine so! The store is so spacious and beautiful and the dark tones make it cozy a misterious. I really loved the bottles so pretty and the display over mirrored trays. Also, we discussed that sometimes I don't like the kiosks at the mall because you don't want pushy sellers and the owner commented he has one in Fashion Valley but his policy is not to push for sales as obviously any perfume lover knows what it good. No one can force you to like a smell, that is a truth and there are so many smells to choose from! Thanks for the educational session. Smells evoque so much in our psyche. What a beautiful job to be a perfume maker! "All you need is love and a new perfume' is the slogan of Smell of Dubai.
