yesterday i went and bought 178.00 worth of items two for my daughter i had to return a concealer for ten dollars because it was not what she wanted the register girl teresa interrogated me in whether i had tried it and it showed noone had opened it and it was literally five minutes that i had left the store ! As i have seen over and over people returning lipsticks etc etc ! maybe a little more customer service at that store although i must say every 12 year old with the woe moms card is allowed to shop there and buy and buy ! so if you are 12 anda your parents leave you at the grove you can shop there no questions asked ! but if an adult needs to return something and buy something else there's an itertegation involved ! rather drive to freehold !' read more

The people in this store were so unbelievably rude. Two people in particular - the one who had very little hair and the one who was a bit bigger. The way they spoke to me was so insanely annoying I could have screamed. Also you idiots forgot my gift receipt. Also if the "whole" store is 20% off that should include Rhode. What I love about Sephora is they carry both higher-end brands and also affordable products. They have outstanding customer service. Should they run out of any product, they will order it for you and ship it to your home, free of charge. They also host online and at-the-store classes and events. If it's at the store, you are often gifted with a product to take home. By far one of my favorite Sephoras. They are located in The Grove at Shrewsbury and have plenty of parking. read more

The Sephora Collection Ready to Eoll Brush kit is defective. As reported by many others online, the rubber handles are sticky. The handles stick to paper are unusable. Sephora will not stand by the product and provide a replacement, because the problem was reported beyond the 60 day return window. Over time, I have been an excellent customer. I will NEVER shop at Sephora again and I will tell others. Instead of replacing a product for a nominal cost --they will lose thousands of dollars of business. So disappointing. I no longer have trust in Sephora. read more

FINALLY!!!!! A sephora in this area. This location just opened on 11/8 and I attended the opening event. The first 100 customers were given a $20 gift card plus they were giving out sephora totes with any $50 purchase. I ended up spending 4 hours, yes you read that right, 4 HOURS, in the store. It was super packed so it was a little rough getting around at first but it got better by the time I left. Amy, the assistant manager, was extremely helpful and was 100% the reason why I ended up spending enough to re-qualify for VIB Rouge all in one purchase. She matched me for foundation and concealer and I ended up with a full makeover by the end of all the products she showed me. She also helped teach me how to properly contour and line my brows. I've never had someone take their time to properly show me products and while she helped other customers I just tried some stuff out myself. I absolutely recommend this sephora, all the MUAs are amazing and friendly. I'll definitely be coming here often especially since I only work 15 minutes away. read more

I have been Rouge I think since the program started. I have gone to countless Sephoras across the country. I have never had such terrible service as I did today. I came to the Grove store looking for a specific product that the app said they had. The first person I asked for help looked at me and walked right away. I guess because I wasn't 18 years old and obviously shoplifting they didn't want to help (saw 2 girls with Sephora bags put products in to the bag in clear view and one person asked if they needed help with a color and left them alone). Finally got someone to help and was told they don't carry the product and then was told it won't be launched until September. Went to Bluemercury and got exactly what I wanted, they had it in store for a week. read more

Yesterday I went in there with a mildly embarrassing beauty problem. A couple of young women approached me and half heartedly asked me if I needed assistance. Just when I was about to leave defeated, Erica approached me and assisted me with what I needed. She went above and beyond which is rare these days. Her attention to detail is amazing. read more

what a mess. besides the music always being inappropriately loud (even at 10:00 am), the displays look like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. walked in needing a shampoo, conditioner, some new make-up and face cleanser. thought this would be my one stop shop, but the experience was so off putting (and gross) i walked out w/o anything. for what it's worth, the staff was friendly. it's clearly the management that needs improving. read more
