What can be said about Sephora that hasn't already been said... AH...All Sephora's are not created equal. By no means at all. For example, Sephora at Forum Shops in Caesar's Palace sells Illamasqua. The Sephora in Paris on Champs-Elysees HAS A MAC COUNTER IN IT. I HAVE NEVER IN ALL OF MY DAYS!!!! I went to THE MOST AMAZING SEPHORA at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan, aesthetically is was the most beautiful Sephora I've ever laid eyes on !!! (Just thinking about it excites me.) Tip *This location has Anastasia Beverly Hills reps (UBER POPULAR BRAND FOR BROWS) that come and do brow-make overs using Anastasia products.* I didn't have an appointment but one of the Sephora girls mentioned it to me and got me in. The Anastasia reps name was ROXIE AND SHE WAS SO FRIENDLY AND AN ABSOLUTE DOLL! She gave me great, user friendly advice about perfecting my brows. I ended up buying several items that I loved! Anastasia's dipbrow pomade changed my life. Ahahhahaha! (THANK YOU ROXIE BOO!!!) That was a first time experience for me in all the Sephora's I've been to. Anyhoo...I love this Sephora, although I've been to bigger and better stores. I WAS ABSOLUTELY ECSTATICCC AND OVER THE MOON when Sephora started carrying Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic's lip tars. (If you have not tried these, please do so immediately) There's a huge display of lip tars here!!! But, for whatever reason, this poorly stocked. Every Sephora in town is poorly stocked because I've checked most of them. I usually go into this location and get lost in it. I'm only able to do so because the associates aren't particularly bothersome and over-bearing. I saw a review that said the associates aren't helpful . I think it's their job to linger around and be available for assistance, NOT to oversell products and be annoying. I like to sample and do my own color matching and swatching without interruption and when I need a recommendation, I can always find someone eager to help. (That's ALL I ASK) Overall, I love having this particular location as an option and they always have what I need. Sephora, Sephora. How I love thee. This is pretty much the only store I visit at International Mall. Every single time. I used to think that Sephora was a lot of overpriced makeup by overpriced brands. Then, My Husband bought me the Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow palette that I had been drooling over for months. After using this palette a few times I knew that I would never waste my money on cheap drugstore eyeshadow again. Since that day I have found many other high-end favorites (generally through samples or playing at Sephora) including Smashbox BB Cream and Benefit They're Real! Mascara. Most of the brands may be pricey, but they make up for it in quality and length of wear. Honestly, I drop about $50 a trip at Sephora and save a bundle by not buying cheap makeup and tossing it after it doesn't work. I am a Beauty Insider rewards member (it's free!) and it is definitely worth it for the Birthday gift and the free samples you get when ordering online. You also get a point for every dollar spent to use towards "deluxe samples" and sometimes full priced items. The employees are many and very helpful. They used to make me feel uncomfortable with their hovering and constant "Can I help you?";s, but I am used to it now. That is what they are paid for. It's also pretty awesome that you can try most products on in the store (only put the makeup on your hand! You can get diseases from testers!). It lets you determine what you want. I have been a big fan of Sephora forever. So many beauty items! The quality and selection are top of the line. I love going to the store to actually try things out. However, I usually prefer to order online because you get free samples, there is no weirdly long and windy line, and I am pretty sure no actual Sephora employee has ever offered to help me. Ever. They are very gracious with returns (I found it easy to exchange a damaged item I had received in the mail at the Intenational Plaza location) and the Beauty Insider program is free to join and offers lots of freebies. I love makeup! So walking into this store is just fabulous...this ones bigger & has more products then the brandon store, which I really really like! More options, more make up to play with & try b4 u buy, & overall more goodies! Plus more employees available to help u with ur questions & makeup needs! What I absolutely loved most is that at this store they have Ali~the amazing beauty consultant! My mom & I had the pleasure of spending an hour & a half each with her & WOW she's so talented! We both walked in no makeup up looking blah- walked out ready to party! Lol she's awesome & every female should pamper herself at least once with a makeover with Ali @ Sephora International! I Love Sephora. This is my go to place for all of My make up and make up accessories. If your not sure what your skin tone is the girls will do a digital skin tone test. The make up can be expensive but it is so worth it. I only have to shop here every couple of months because it lasts. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they're always giving samples. read more

I like this Sephora since I always have a good experience and get everything I need. The staff is always helpful, they come over to see if you need anything without pressuring you to buy items and are always offering samples and suggestions. I am a pretty good reader of the people who ask questions that come across fake but this location takes the time to make sure you get what you came in for and make sure you are taken care of. Get over there right now and get yourself a Lash & Dash. I never could get those stupid false eyelashes to stay in place, but (What was her name? Cheryl?? I don't know, but she's the one with the pretty dark hair and lush eyelashes) Cheryl made me look so glamorous last night and the lashes stayed on for hours!! It really did wonders for my self esteem. More importantly, she taught me some False Eyelashes 101. Surprisingly, the YouTube videos with 12 year old girls narrating how to put the lashes on were not as correct as I had assumed. lol Now, I feel fairly confident to apply my own false eyelashes. read more

Love this location! Such a huge store, I could probably spend all day in here just looking at everything. The store is laid out nicely and seems to be well organized. They've always been in stock with items in there for me. Always crazy busy! But the checkout moves along quickly. Most of the employees are friendly and ready to help you find what it is you are looking for or give suggestions. As a makeup newb, this is great for me because most of the time I can't make a decision! They also give out samples of items you want to try, so you don't have to buy it full price, just in case you end up not liking it! Sweet!! I would love to come in one day and just get a full face of makeup done. Currently trying out the Kat Von D foundation and Too Faced bronzer upon the suggestion of one of the employees. Gia in fragrance is wonderful, she commended a cologne based on what I currently wear and she was spot on. There was a woman with long pink hair who gave me the best customer service I have ever had in my life! Unfortunately I don't recall her name. She used a device to match my skin tone and helped me find the perfect cream stick from Lancôme. She ensured that it was something a felt comfortable working with and didn't make me feel like it was unusual for a guy to be wearing a bit of makeup to even out his skin. This review is for one of the employees at this location - I wish I had gotten her name! I flew to Tampa for the weekend and ended up getting my face wash taken from me by damn TSA at the airport. The only place I know to find it is Sephora so I went to this location to buy it. As it turned out, they were sold out of the product and had only the tester bottle in stock. The woman that helped me was apologetic and ended up giving me a sample container of the wash to get me through the weekend. What a lifesaver!! She probably won't see this, but just in case - thank you so much!! read more

I Attended skin care class at this Sephora. I highly recommend trying out available classes: they offer several. They book quickly but speak with employees to get more info. The class is very helpful to navigating the right product for your skin type. It very personalized as well. The employees running the classes share their experience and point you in the right direction for products. No pressure to purchase but I think everyone finds something. I enjoy shopping at this Sephora as it has a great variety of products and helpful staff. My only pet peeve has been price difference with store and on line and on line you get free samples which they don't offer in store. I usually spend more in store so some added benefits might encourage people to take a trip to the store. read more

If you're female, what is not to love about this place? I get a rush everytime I come in. Everything is displayed beautifully, and the different brands have their own area with products right where they should be. The staff is always helpful and they know their stuff. I love how they have lots of little mirrors and disposable tools, bc you can literally sample and try out anything before buying it. Ive even come in just to redo my own makeup, and left...they didn't seem to mind though haha. My favorite products are from Urban Decay, especially the eye liner. Its smooth and stays on forever & through anything, snd they have the BEST eyeshadows. Sephora has just about every beauty product and I will always come back. read more

Fantastic customer service. When I walked in, I was greeted by several workers. Two different ladies helped me pick the right bronzer for me. They let me try on several products and welcomed all the questions I had, and we're very friendly. Unfortunately, I do not remember their names. I've been to other Sephoras where the workers treat you like an annoyance if you want to try things on, or make you put on the makeup yourself because they don't want to. Definitely not this one. Today, Gianna was extremely helpful in assisting me with finding cruelty-free makeup. She was highly knowledgable about which brands are CF off the top of her head and ALSO knew that brands sold in China and purple eyeliners are required to be tested on animals/humans. Further, she helped match my skin tone to the appropriate foundation and was overall very friendly and personable. I was very happy with my experience! The one thing I will note is that the store can get pretty crowded, especially on weekends, but there is usually someone available to help you. read more

This was by far the most disgusting and worst experience I have ever had at a Sephora store. I will not be returning again to any Sephora because of this. I have already contacted two managers and customer service about the matter. I am appalled at the behavior of a store associate named Carly. She walked up to me, took the product I was testing out of my hand, and accused me of opening it out of the box, which I didn't, the product was already ripped open which maybe a sales associate should have taken care of prior to my seeing it, and made me feel like a criminal. Instead of coming to a professional solution, she continued to harass me in front of the entire store for at least 10 minutes. I was extremely interested in buying the product, and she did not offer any solution to the problem she had created. I asked if there were any other lip glosses since the two i was testing were apparently not the testers, even though they were ripped open and sitting on the counter for anyone to use. Her answer was "well if you want to buy the open one you can" with a disgusted look on her face. I am confused how any of this is my fault. As a customer shopping in Sephora, I expect counters to be as clean as possible and if products are open, I am going to test them. That is the whole point of Sephora. After all this, I was still somehow interested in the product itself so I asked for a manager's assistance. I never received the manager's name, but she was just as unhelpful, and proceeded to look the product up online after much pressure from me as I wanted to buy it. I then asked if there was any more of this product in the store as no one even cared to check stock. It was then, after prying for 5-10 minutes for this product, she looked in the drawer underneath the display and found tons for me. This should have been the FIRST thing to solve this problem without escalating it. Carly came off extremely immature and unprofessional. Shaken up after being verbally harassed and mistreated, I proceeded to the cashier who was named Ashley. She was EXTREMELY professional, kind and exactly what everyone in this store should aspire to be like. She ran and got me the testers so I could actually test them without being accused of doing something wrong. I ended up purchasing one solely because of her and her alone. I have just moved to the Tampa area from New York, and as someone who comes from working in the beauty PR industry for many brands who are sold in Sephora, I am appalled by this experience. I think these employees are doing these brands a huge injustice. Unfortunately this is not the first incident in this location, and I will be shopping at Nordstrom and Ulta for my beauty products as they are nothing less than respectful, attentive and polite to their customers every time. read more

I just had the worst experience with one of the girls that work there. I was scheduled for a custom makeover, and she did the worst job! Her name is Emily, I don't even know why they let her do other people's make up. I've had my make up done before at Sephora and by professional make up artists. International Plaza Location---- I had walked in hoping to find a new foundation. I love their makeup but, when I had proceeded to ask for help, which may I add there was so many employees all over the place, many not with clients. But, not one offered to assist me. I know I looked lost. Finally I got someone who had quickly said she would get someone else. When that employee assisted me I felt like a complete inconvenience, she wasn't doing anything but walking quickly ahead of me to a few different options. She instead of listening to my questions immediately addressed me needing a moisturizer first and for most. I mean I know about up-selling but please hear me out first. She showed me one foundation quickly applying it, looking around at other things as she did so. After I had asked a few questions about it she said they didn't even have that shade. She was quick to be ready to walk away. I asked some other questions, so she quickly rushed to another brand and applied once again distracted. Once I had looked at the application, she handed me the product and said, "Here this is what you need, I have no other options." Then walked away. I kind of stood there flabbergasted by the unprofessional approach and complete lack of respect for a potential/returning customer. Also she continually called me 'Sweetie', drove me crazy. I may look young but, I would have appreciated more assistance and undivided attention and not feeling like I was nothing but a nuisance.
