Ok ladies you are going to like this one! Now we all love Sephora in terms of the amazing products, and it being a girls dream. However, some products are a hit and some you pay for the cute little packaging. So as a make-up artist, I have to test out products and go to my favorite store all of the time! You know it is my job..hahaha that is what I tell my husband when I come home with all of those goodies! SO I want to share with you a Sephora buy that is A++++++ all the way. As women or even men..under they eyes can be a bit of a problem, if you are tired, have allergies, fine lines, puffiness, or Italian like me..and I have that little darkness in the corner.. BENEFIT ERASE PASTE! it is amazing, so rich you just need a touch of it, COVERS like no ones business, the texture is silky and creamy, and I LOVE IT. My clients love it..because it works..quickly! Now when you first see the little jar..you will think just that.. IT IS LITTLE. I promise you will have this for quite some time, because it is so rich. It is $27 and comes in fair, medium and deep. This product is amazing and so blendable. I hope you like it.. as much as I do! I say treat yourself to some amazing products from time to time after you test them in the store..and then there are a ton of great finds that are so inexpensive. Worst experience ever. I went here to find the right shade that I was looking for in the Fenty Beauty line with an intention of buying It that day...waited 25 mins with a buzzer to have someone help me (which i didn't mind waiting at all) just to have an extremely rude employee tell me she didn't really know what to tell me about my shade and swipe some of the foundation on my skin with her finger. Wish i knew her name. I could've done that myself. ended up leaving without buying It. My friend had another makeup artist test a foundation on her and she fully primed her face and used a brush to give her the full effect of the foundation. Much better than the rude girl that helped me. Sooooo frustrating. read more

I was in yesterday an Nobody would help me . Everybody acted like entitled an petty. I felt discriminated against because I was white an most employee were black ... Then finally when they did help they took me to the most expensive stand an told me this is all I should buy . I felt like she didn't really wanna help me . Don't go to sephora in Towson . The Sephora in Francis Scott key mall is much better . There's no judgment there!!!!!! read more

This is one of my favorite Sephora locations by far. Chanel, the manager is an absolute peach, and always provides a calm and inviting presence. As far as the staff professionals are concerned: Lawrence and Maya are an absolute delight to work with and I couldn't recommend them enough. My skin has never looked better- which is mostly based on their recommendations for different products and the free facial service provided. read more

Poor customer service, over rated and certainly not with the price or rude minmum wages employees in stores. Products continue to change additives, and do not seem to work like they use to when company was smaller. i had the worst customer service from this store ever. one employee seemed really annoyed and so rude when i asked her to help me find the right shade. i wish i had asked for her name so i can complain to the manager or corporate. none of them wear name tags. sephora needs to retrain all their employees on professionalism and customer service. read more

I really love this Sephora. While I buy almost everything (not just cosmetics) online because the whole mall thing in general makes me crazy, I do love going into and shopping this store. I'm always greeted and always, always, always end up with much more stuff than I intended to buy. That being said, the employees that I've dealt with are very helpful, honest about suggestions and if I ask their opinion and they don't think something might be the best product or color for me, they'll tell me and suggest something else. I like that because it means I don't end up with a ton of products that I don't want or regret purchasing. I feel confident that they're wanting me to look and feel my best so I don't feel as though they're just trying to sell me everything for the sake of sales. Some of my favorite employees are Kinger, Maya, Aaliyah, Victoria and Tim. Several of them have worked there for a long time (4+ years) so that also says a lot, especially in a retail environment because I know that can be stressful and they have to deal with a lot from customers. this place is mecca for makeup lovers like myself. i prefer going during non-peak times in order to go through the store and test/swatch different products. it can get a little hectic on the weekends in the tiny aisles between brands but i love being able to try things out myself without feeling pressured at a department store makeup counter. i've encountered mostly friendly employees but i have noticed a few who felt more like they were watching over me than trying to help. it's understandable though because it's a store full of small, costly items so i understand the need to deter shoplifting. read more

What I love about Sephora: The smell that hits you when you walk in, the women who work there, and all the beautiful things you can use to paint your face. What I don't love about Sephora: How much money I can blow there in a single trip. Yesterday I went in to get my make up done to try a new look...since my make up never matches my skin color. A woman did my make up who works for Cover Fx who was SO sweet. I loved her...and my make up looked so natural. My mother made a comment that it was the best my make up and face had ever looked. This make up was actually reasonably priced...I was surprised and my wallet was very grateful for that. I just hope today when I try out my new products I can recreate the same look. I had another woman in there do the rest of my make up, eyes, lips..etc. She's done my make up before and I liked it a lot then too. Everyone in there is so nice and friendly. Some of the products are pricey, but some of them are well worth it, especially for skin or haircare. I always read the reviews on the Sephora website before I go in and make purchases which are extremely helpful. The women in there are always willing to answer questions should you have them. Loving the beauty insider thing where you can get free samples - I've gotten samples of really great things I was going to buy, but was able to get them free instead. I worked with Mia at the Towson Sephora to help me pick a foundation that works better for me. I have been researching makeups for awhile, nervous to spend the money required to shop in Sephora. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the staff as well as their ability to help me work within my reasonable budget. I DO believe, unlike another reviewer, that make up is for sure an area where you get what you pay for. Of course some formula don't work the way we would expect for the cost...so return it! A sales associate who I can't remember her name for the life of me (I am horrible with names), but she was all in black & had piercings. She was so helpful. I explained to her my problem areas & she helped me have a daily regimen to help those areas, as well as pick out a foundation that covers them. I thought that I could never duplicate the process at home, but she was very informative & went over it with me step-by-step & assured me I could do it at home & I indeed can. She also helped me find the perfect complimentary shade of pink lipstick to wear to my son's wedding. I would definitely go back & I hope this same young lady is working. She was simply wonderful. Kind and Friendly staff. I went here on Black Friday for a $50 makeover. Of course the place was chaotic because of the day. I was purchasing items online at work earlier in the day and left my debit card on my desk by mistake. When i arrived for my appointment the ladies were very patient with me and understanding of my situation, (one of the managers/supervisors had red hair, although i cant recall her name) . Even though I was running over my appt time I never once felt rushed. The manager/supervisor asked me what exactly I was going for and once i told her she recommended to me the "mini makeover" i believe it was called. Which is a free application of foundation which i didnt even know they offered (im not a big makeup girl) . One of the artist did the "prep" , and was very detailed on the products she used for me. And Kitty(or katie?) did the foundation application. She made fantastic choices! I went to Mac a year or so prior and the tones they picked out for me were so off and had me looking like 2001 Michael Jackson in the face while the rest of me was 1980 Mike so i never went back.. Sephora did a much better job. read more
