Honestly, I wasn't as impressed by the quality of the meat in my sandwich. I ordered a New York pastrami, which comes with mustard but the sandwich had way too mustard. Made it a very messy eating experience. I used to love this place back in 2019 but things have changed. read more

Hands down, officially my favorite sandwich at Sequoia. The Bayou Italiano has salami and Capicola with melted provolone but the star of this sandwich is the muffeletta olive salad. OMG!! Ordered a California Pastrami with no cheese. After almost 25 minutes of not getting my sandwich and seeing people who came in significantly after me get their food, went back and asked about my sandwich and they apparently lost it. Sandwich comes out 10 minutes later with cheese. Accepted it because it was over 30 minutes after I ordered. Realized I paid almost 25 dollars for this meal and took it back. Finally got it right a few minutes later. 40 minutes after original order. And very little apology. Only saving grace was that the sandwich was actually good. We shared a roasted turkey sandwhich and cajun turkey sandwich and both were immaculate. the roasted turkey sandwhich was my fav, it was very delicious with the perfect amount of mayo and avocado and the meat was superb. the cajun turkey sandwhich had good seasoning and flavor. we recommend both. the workers were attentive, helpful, and friendly, though the food and service took a long time. it was quite busy when we came, but the food wass definitely worth the wait. the inside of the store is very cute though it's small. the music was some nice jazz and it was a very cozy and vintage design. read more

The Gobbler is one of my favorites this time of year. I look forward to getting it every year when it comes back in season. It is like the whole thanksgiving meal on a roll. I am never disappointed with this sandwich with the thick slices of turkey, the freshly made stuffing and the gravy is delicious. Top it all off with cranberry sauce and you have perfection.
