She is kind, compassionate, incredibly responsive, and brings so much energy and warmth to every interaction. There have been multiple occasions when one of our children have shown signs of an ear infection late at night, and she responded promptly, saw them to make an accurate diagnosis, and made sure they received the treatment they needed as soon as possible. Whenever my kids feel anxious about an appointment, she is able to calm their fears, make them feel safe, and even turn the visit into a positive experience. I especially appreciate how thoroughly she explains medical concerns in a way that's easy to understand. She takes the time to answer questions and listens to my concerns. I always feel heard, respected, and confident in the care my children receive. We are so grateful to have found Dr. Ashley and highly recommend her!

She recently moved to Hayward in the foothill shopping center. We had never been to that location. The parking situation is atrocious and lots of stairs or ramp to get to the building. With a 2 year old it definitely isn't super quick and easy to navigate. I took work off to take my daughter. Our appointment was for 3:30. I am pregnant and carried her up all the stairs and took a long time to find parking. We get in to check in at 3:36 and the rude receptionist tells us that Dr Kimberly has a 5 minute grace period (which I've never been informed about and is not listed anywhere when booking the appointment) she said she would check with the doctor anyways. She took 5 minutes to check, the doctor said no and I would have to reschedule. Mind you, the office had one adult waiting in there, otherwise completely empty. Extremely disappointed and sad we will never be back. I think if you're going to have a 5 minute grace period, you should inform clients, especially at a pediatric office, especially at a brand new location that has HORRIBLE parking and lots of stairs. Would've been wonderful to know ahead of time. I am a very punctual person, I am always on time, I just had no idea there would be so many obstacles getting to the office itself, I respect people's time. Super disappointed.

I will not bring my daughter back to this clinic…read more I rarely leave reviews, but I believe this experience needs to be addressed. Last year, our experience with this pediatric clinic was very positive. We were treated well by everyone, from the reception staff to the doctor. Unfortunately, this year's experience was completely different. The clinic initially contacted me and offered to schedule my daughter's annual examination. I appreciated the call because my schedule had made it difficult for me to arrange the appointment myself. The day before the appointment, after I had already confirmed it electronically, I received another call requesting insurance information. I was in a work meeting and explained twice that I could not speak at that time. I offered to call back after 5:30 p.m. or provide the information early the following morning before our 10:00 a.m. appointment. Instead of acknowledging these options, the staff member continued asking the same questions and then asked whether someone else could answer them. I explained that I was working and that no one else was available. She then stated, "If you do not answer my questions, your daughter's appointment will be cancelled." I found this unnecessarily disrespectful. I had clearly communicated that I was willing to provide the information at a different time. No one called me back later that day, and I did not receive any notice that the appointment had been cancelled. To prevent further problems, my teenage daughter and I arrived early the next morning so that I could provide all the necessary information in person. The receptionist asked for a physical insurance card. I explained that my insurance provides only an electronic card and asked how I could submit it. Rather than offering assistance, the receptionist told me to upload it through MyChart. I explained that I did not have an active MyChart login. I had previously received only a link that allowed me to confirm the appointment using my daughter's date of birth. It did not provide access to an account, and I had never received a username or password. When I tried to explain this, the receptionist gave me a scornful look and continued responding in a dismissive manner. She requested my name and date of birth but did not clearly explain how this would help me upload the insurance card. At that point, I felt that my questions and efforts to cooperate were being treated as an inconvenience. Because of the way we were treated, I asked to cancel my daughter's appointment. This situation could have been resolved easily through more respectful communication and basic cooperation, unfortunately this clinic is evidently in lack of such 'frivolities'.
