I called a few days prior to schedule an appointment at 10:00am for a full set and pedi. I walk in at 9:58am and there's a line forming to talk to the front desk. Some were walk-ins and some were appointments. When it got to me, I told him I had an appointment for a full set and pedi at 10:00am and he directed me to the tablet to complete check-in. I found my name and appointment time but it still asked me to pick my services. I picked both things I needed. The two women in front of me were ushered to their spots. I waited to the side. A few minutes later, a nail tech in the middle of the floor in the waaaay back waived in my direction. I looked around before pointing to my chest and asking if she meant me. She nodded and waived for me to come over. She asked if I didn't remember her from last time, and I replied "It's my first time here.. Nobody really explained to me who I was going to work with. They only asked me to check in and I waited for further instructions." She apologized. Super kind, social, and funny nail tech. Love love love that she can hold a conversation down cause I can be a yapper. She for sure uplifted my mood after being confused. Halfway through my set, she asked what I had planned for the rest of the day. I told her "To get my toes done, too." She immediately spoke with someone and asked if I wanted to get em done at the same time. I told her I did and she reminded me that I had a lot of power in decided to do both at the same time. I appreciated it, but let her know that in general, as a new customer I felt lost because the front desk didn't help clarify who I'd be working with or confirm what I wanted done despite that I told them what I needed verbally and I selected the same things on the tablet. I could only assume that they did they separately because nobody really talked to me to specify. --- QUALITY & VIBE --- Both the set and pedi completed was amazing, the staff is really nice, and the space is clean, professional and spacious. However, as someone who has worked the front desk, I recommend that the front really communicates the process with their NEW customers because that: sets the first impression, clarity helps makes things efficient for the staff and client, and less confusion won't make the client feel uncomfortable from the start.

I called to check out their prices for a basic pedicure and manicure. I was quoted $30 pedicure &…read more$18 manicure and they did accept walk ins. So upon arriving I was offered a water and a snack from a basket by check in. Very nice touch except I didn't have a chance to eat my snack or open my water because I was seated immediately into a very nice spa chair and Tina started my pedicure removing polish while the bowl filled and June started my manicure after I started my chair for 30 minutes. They were both done by the time my spa chair stopped but June reset for 20 more minutes so that I could dry bc they don't have traditional dryers for natural nails. Tina used a small fan on my toes. So I sat there for the about 15 minutes before leaving. If you pay with a debit/credit card there is a $2 charge so including tips my total was $60 for the basic pedicure and manicure. Basic includes nails trimmed, cuticles trimmed some pumice stone on my feet and a light coat of lotion. I brought my own Opi polish. My cuticles could've used some oil so I did that when I got home. The place is extremely quiet compared to any other nail salons I've been to. No chatting between technicians or clients. I'd say that Tina might of said 10 words total and June at max 20 words. ALL business and you are in and out quickly.

When it was finally our turn the I was asked to soak my feet. The water was way too hot for me and the water was almost full to the top by the time cold water was turned on to temper it. So I soaked my feet in the water and waited. Again, no big deal. It was still so much on the warm side though that I ended up breaking into a sweat. I don't think they had the air conditioning on inside their store. Looking around my mom's gel manicure, her manicurist did a great job and she was very sweet. The lady that did my pedicure was also nice, well so I thought (until she took my payment). The lady that did my nails while I sat in the pedicure chair did a really bad job with my nails. I didn't realize how bad until I got home. See attached pics. When all was said and done and I was paying, I was told to add the tip to the receipt. I guess it wasn't good enough. As I gave the receipt back and thanked the lady who did my pedicure she just turned and walked away. No "you're welcome", no "thank you", no nothing. I will have to say that the lady that did my nails was kind enough to find me a regular polish and a gel polish that matched perfectly which I appreciate. It's just that the work was pretty bad and was rushed because they had people waiting after us. Overall a horrible job on my nails. My toes were ok though - but done by someone else. For expensive as this stuff is, never again!

This past weekend, I was unfortunate enough to have her handling my SNS. She didn't say a word when she started working on my hands, just threw everything in my lap. The nail colors, mini bean bag and the UV light - literally thrown down. At one point, I was rudely told, "Give me your hand!" She was also very rough with my fingers. In fact, I left with a few of them bleeding and now it hurts to have water even touch them. Based on other reviews, I know this same woman has already been mentioned. Unfortunately, I believe she is one of the owners if not, the owner. I pass by way too many nail places to get here from Duluth. Not sure why I've subject myself to this treatment for as long as I have, but I will not be back.

Era Nails - How is this a "fresh manicure" it's the sloppiest form of SNS I have ever had on my nails. AWFUL.
