This was one of the worst emergency room experiences I have ever had. Despite repeatedly explaining my symptoms, the doctor did not listen and rushed through my visit with the apparent goal of getting me discharged as quickly as possible. I was vomiting uncontrollably, yet my condition was dismissed and minimized. There was no sense of urgency, concern, or thorough evaluation. I was later diagnosed with a CSF leak--a serious condition that may have been identified earlier had the medical staff taken the time to listen and properly assess my symptoms. Instead, I was sent away feeling unheard, unsafe, and medically neglected. The lack of compassion and attention to patient concerns in an emergency setting is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise against using the emergency department at this hospital. I would never recommend it to anyone seeking urgent or competent care.

I am a veterinarian and I need my hands to be 100% to allow me to perform surgery on my furry four legged patients. The other hand surgeon I initially went to see for my injury said that he would recommend I go to Dr Badia because of his skill level and high case load. The particular injury I had was not super common in the general population, and was associated more with athletes. Dr Badia is out of network for all health insurance policies. So you will likely end up paying more out of pocket than you would with other doctors. But in my opinion, it's worth investing in yourself to ensure the best possible outcome for your injury. I'm still in the recovery phase, so I can speak yet on the outcome...but so far so good. The staff is all very kind and helpful.

Once there, you find out after waiting a half hour in an empty waiting room, that they add an obligatory ultrasound and consultation and you can't get service you paid for without more time waste. When you explain you have an appointment, an ultrasound tech with the worst attitude ever tells you your appointment is only a guideline that depends on how many patients they have, never mind they added a "free service" they never warned you about. I say, save your money. Even with discounts and Groupons, they're nothing but a big waste of time and a lot of needless aggravation. They should use all that energy into providing a good service and experience and people would be back and ask what more they can buy. But if you start by annoying people with surveys and requirements to trick them into paying more, you lose them forever. Me? Never again.

That being said, I can say from personal experience Dr Loria is extremely professional and considerate. He talks to you like a friend and is concerned greatly about getting the results you are looking for. Its his reputation on the line and because of his quality of work his is booked up for while. Took me 2 months to get my next appointment. I am a repeat "customer." His staff also keeps in touch with you DAILY to make sure you are doing well and to make sure everything is as it should be. They also are extremely nice and make you feel very comfortable. I have talked to at least 6 different staff members and they are all the same, super super nice and personable. I had contemplated getting it for so long because I was flat-chested. I lost a lot of weight the previous year so getting a breast augmentation was the cherry on top for my confidence. I also wanted to get minor liposuction on my stomach. I had a pocket of stubborn fat underneath my belly button that would not go away no matter how many sit-ups I did. I called to set up my consultation and dealt with Lucy. She was so nice and made me so happy. I remember getting off the phone and smiling because I was so excited about my consultation. Consultation: The following Tuesday I arrived at my consultation. I was so nervous but the entire staff made me feel comfortable and they were so welcoming. I changed into the gown and Dr. Craft came in with a sweet nurse! I didn't get her name but she has always been so sweet! He spent a lot of time with me! He went over everything, answered all my questions, gave his advice, and listened to what I WANTED. He was so informative and I knew that I wanted to start the process. I want to say I was almost there for an hour. Weighing my options, listening to the pros and cons, and asking questions. I'm so thankful for the consultation because I left very confident and firm on my decision. I ended up picking 415 cc of silicone, high profile. I wanted to be a full C or D cup so this was my best option. Blood work: I came back a few weeks later where I met Cybil! The most amazing person in the world! Gosh, I love that girl! She took my blood and informed me about everything! What to do, what not to do, and everything I needed to do before my surgery. I got a really big packet of paper but left knowing everything that was in that packet. They took before pics, measured me, and answered any questions. During this time I was put in contact with Marilyn who is great! She gave me her phone number and during this entire process, I asked any questions that came to mind. She has always been so sweet and helpful! Procedure: I was extremely nervous since I had never gone under anesthesia before. My surgery was scheduled for 10 am so I followed all the instructions the night before. The anesthesiologist called me the night before asking if I had any questions which made me feel a lot better. When I arrived I got put into the room and got changed into the gown. The recovery nurse April came in and talked me through everything and gave me an anti-nausea pill. She is just the best! I remember her telling me about her son; she was so sweet! She said most people don't remember her much since they get knocked out but how could I forget such a sweet lady! Dr. Craft came in and went over the game plan with me. He marked me up and made sure we were on the same page. I went into surgery 100% confident and excited. I wasn't nervous at all. Everyone was so nice and explained what they were doing to me. I knew I was about to knock out when the lights were swaying back and forth and I was 100% calm. I woke up and April was there, she brought my fiance in and I went hope. Later that night Dr. Craft called me and we talked. He explained to me how the procedure went and told me instructions for going forward. This meant a lot to me and just made me so happy that I picked him to do my surgery. Recovery: As I'm writing this I'm about 6 weeks post op. I have followed their instructions religiously and have worn my fajas 23.5/24 hours a day. The follow-up appointments have been great and the support has been so great. I did lymphatic massages with Janet and she was great!! Since I only got a little bit of lipo I only had to do 4 sessions but it helped reduce the swelling so much. Worth every penny. She was great and I enjoyed getting to know her. Everyone in this office is amazing and I'm so thankful and blessed to have gained the amazing care of the staff and developed many friendships. I seriously wish I worked here so I could hang out with them every day!! Thank you all so much. P.S I LOVE MY RESULTS! They're exactly what I wanted.
