There is nothing relaxing about walking into a space with a tv news station blaring while the masseuse yells over the tv the covid screening questions. Masseuse seemed very angry and made me feel like I was bothering her with my appt. After a few minutes conversation about my issues and what I wanted to work on I was told that she didn't feel comfortable doing the massage without a note from my doctor. Never going back. I purchased a Groupon through this location but prior to doing so I made sure they were available on a day I was off due to my intense schedule. With that being said, there was an open spot on a Sunday which was hard to believe. So I went along w the deal and made my appt. THEY thought it would be a great idea to move my appt from Sunday to Tuesday without telling me and then say oops sorry. We're all booked for the day. I was in dire need of a massage and found this to be a great deal. I will never go back here and I'll make sure to tell others that they can go ahead and book an appt but you never know when and where they may decided to change it too. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Prior to buying a groupon for my wife for a massage, I called to ensure the groupon covered prenatal. They said no problem. When my wife called to schedule, they told her she would have to pay more than double what the groupon is worth (in addition to the groupon). The amount she paid, plus the groupon was more then what was listed on the website for the massage. After they cancelled her first appointment and she had to wait another month, she finally went and the masseuse ended the massage after less than 45 minutes (we paid for an hour). I purchased a Groupon for this place a few months ago. My mother and I made appointments from 11am-3pm because they said they allotted 1 hour per ANC and pedicure each. The woman, who didn't even introduce herself, began with a pedicure and I think I had my feet in the water for maybe 3 minutes. She also didn't do a very good job on the 'cleaning up' aspect of my toes. Also, she spent about 2 minutes massaging my feet and never even touched my legs. Lastly, she never even put a top coat over the nail polish. Next, my mother received her pedicure and had all of the same problems. When she was finished, I had my ANC manicure which turned out HORRIBLE. The place had no samples of what color the powder turned out to be once on a nail, and they didn't have a large selection to choose from. The manicure itself wasn't even a manicure. The woman filed my nails, and k had to go back and fix them all. Nothing was done with my cuticles. The ANC was not even sanded down, which, after some research is supposed to be done. Lastly, I had finished product all over the skin around my nails which I later had to pick off!! And the best part, later that day, they all started peeling off! Another thing- they didn't even allot the proper amount of the !! My mother had to make another appointment to come back (3 months later) because she ran out of time even though we had 4 hours of time booked. I was very unhappy with the service I revived at this "spa". I've gotten 100x better quality service at an Asian salon. I definitely will never be returning to this place! read more

Ok I haven't been to this place yet but Meg was not very cordial or had very good customer service on the phone. All i have done is scheduled an appointment so far and I am not impressed. Rude attitude. No thanks for calling her to schedule like she's doing me a big favor attitude. She is phasing out of Groupon but she has put herself out there and first appointment is May. Why did she put herself in Groupon in the first place if she's booking into May? She doesn't know a thing about me or does she know what I do or who I may recommend or not recommend her to. A Groupon deal was purchased in December as Christmas gift, I waited 4 months for an appointment & on day of appt, my voucher was redeemed & after voucher was redeemed I was asked when waa the last time I had a massage, I let her know it was my 1st time & she then stated she was "concerned for my safety"? I asked what she meant & proceeded to tell me that she didn't know if the table would support me. Terrible "hot stone massage" . Middle age women with shorter blond highlighted hair. Not warm & welcoming. Robotic & seemed she was doing me a favor. If running the special on Groupon is making you feel like you are a factory then maybe you should not be running that special? A very awkward massage. Just bad. This is the 3rd time visiting with groupons. It does take forever to get in. The first 2 times I had Shannon and she was sweet, polite and I felt good after the 60 deep tissue massage. This time I used Marjorie since I could not get in with Shannon. Well never again. She barely smiled, was pretty rude, I am not sure what time we started but we ended 45 min later when I paid for an hour. First time going there I was getting a pedicure. I have to say I was completely impressed with the inside of the salon. Very clean and up to date. The girl at the desk was very friendly and helpful. I got my pedicure from Mary who was great. The whole entire staff treated me like I had been going there for a long time. Plus the other thing I found was their prices were reasonable. Worst massage I have ever had. Kim didn't make eye contact when I came in and never introduced herself....I finally asked her name once I was led into room and realized she was the masseuse. Room was cold and her hands were cold. Didn't ask if pressure was okay and when I suggested more pressure, she acknowledged it with a terse "uh huh." The massage itself was terrible. Its as if she had no experience at all and no natural aptitude. She seemed to be unaware of the most basic type of customer service principles, let alone the kind of attention a professional masseuse gives a new client, and really didn't seem to care. If the business owner is trying to attract new clients, she is in serious jeopardy. Completely unprofessional. I purchased two amazon vouchers to be used this summer while visiting the area from AZ...could not get an appointment until end of October and I'll be back in AZ by then! Tried to make appointment on line and only available time was end of October...thinking there was a problem with the one line booking I then called ...was told that was correct and nothing could be done about getting in before then....and I didn't even mention the voucher...very rude person (owner)....I would not go there if it was FREE....hoping I can get a refund as this was unbelievable that I couldn't get an appointment till end of October for a mani/pedi !!!!!! I would give this salon 0 stars if possible. My friends and I purchased a groupon for manicures and pedicures. After not being able to reach anyone on the phone here, we were told our appointment was written down incorrectly and only two of us could get the service. When we arrived the woman responsible for doing the nails wasn't doing anything and clearly could have been answering our calls. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else! The pedicure was nothing special, she seemed inexperienced. The massage chairs were loud and barely had any pressure, only 1 mode. If you bought a groupon and are going, be sure to bring polish as the selection is minimal unless you want pink or red. read more

I visited this salon with a Groupon for ANC manicure with Pedicure. The woman (owner I think) was VERY nice...however...she DESTROYED my nails! After being a nail-biter for years, I discovered I could cure that with ANC, and they have grown to be long, strong, and beautiful. But after 1 day, I broke a nail, and today the ANC is peeling off another nail, and I will have to cut it! She did not cover my nail bed completely with the ANC powder, and there were blotches and uneven areas. She used a file that was way too rough, and I left with razor sharp and jagged edged nails, which I had to file myself when I got home. My pedicure lacked in the foot massage, and she didn't even cover my big toenail completely with polish, I could have done it better myself. Oh, and I was the ONLY ONE THERE!!! My ANC removal, application, and pedicure kept me there for almost 2 hours. My usual salon I am done within an hour. I would not recommend this place for nails. read more

I would leave 0 stars and I haven't even stepped foot in this place. I wanted to schedule a massage with a Groupon I purchased. I checked their website and it only showed me one week in October was available (and nothing after that week either), and all morning appointments, which doesn't work for me. So then I called to schedule over the phone. The owner answered and told me she was booked into September (fine). She proceeded to tell me it's much easier and quicker to schedule online. "That's what most people do," she said. I told her I was looking at their website and only one week in October is showing. She said, "well, that's pretty accurate." I asked if I could just schedule over the phone and she literally said, "That takes too much time and I have someone coming in right now." I bought a groupon to take my daughter for a mother/daughter day for her 40th birthday. When I went to go check it out and asked about the "spa" part listed on their website (light lunch with wine, etc), the woman hastily told me it is no longer available and they keep forgetting to take it down off their website!! She was very snotty about the whole thing and gave me the feeling I was bothering her by even entering the establishment!! I will never step foot in there again and I am telling all my friends not to either. Too bad because it is a nice location close to the village of Scotia. I am also reporting to Groupon and getting my money back. read more
