This was my first visit but Anita was more than accommodating and moved appointments around to fit me in, which says a lot about her bc I was a brand new client! The spa is super cute and clean! Staff are friendly and Anita was very attentive to my needs! Already booked my next appointment and I can't wait! I have been coming to Domani Spa for few months now and I have to say that my gel pedicures and manicures have been consistently good. I highly recommend Anita(who is also the owner); she is really knowledgeable and is very good at her craft. My mom had never had a manicure or pedicure before (I, myself, had only had 1 pedicure and maybe 3 manicures - 1 at the Yelp Inaugural Ball, even - before this trip) so she wanted to do both before my wedding back in October. After leaving Ferri Formals next door one day, we spotted Domani and headed in to make an appointment. The owner and the staff are so friendly and sweet. The owner's daughter was running around and talking to us when we made the appointment along with the dog so we figured we'd at least be entertained the whole time. We unfortunately had to have back-to-back appointments so we ended up at the place for a few hours but it was relaxing and we had fun chatting to the staff there and listening to the radio call-in show that was playing. The only downside was that it was a LOT more expensive than any mani/pedi I would pay for in NYC and that was a little surprising to me. But it was a good experience and I'd ultimately want to give them more money. Not sure what prices at other places in the area are so maybe a little more research would be better next time. read more

Anita is prompt, careful and both charming and professional. Anita Hug-Jones is incredibly knowledgeable about the products she uses - how they're made, which ones are safest, which ones will best suit each customer. She is meticulous about cleanliness and hygiene. My nails always look perfect whether I do color or French or special party nails. Domani spa came as a recommendation to me after I contracted a fungal infection from an unsanitary nail salon. I've been going to Anita for over two years now. Her salon is extremely clean, has suburb sanitary standards for manicure & pedicure equipment. Quality nail products- my nails are still healthy underneath vs the mess cheap acrylics left me with other salons. Overall, Anita is just skilled in making beautiful nails. I never write reviews, but this place was so bad I feel its my duty to warn others away. On a recent visit I was charged twice. When I went back to the salon to talk to the owner about this, she interrogated me for 10 minutes, and seemed to not even believe that I had been at the spa because I didn't have an appointment on the books (I was a walk-in). I showed her my bank statement with the double charge, but it still wasn't enough to convince the owner that I had been wrongly charged. She promised to call me back 2 days later, and never called. I went back to the salon after 3 days, and she still refused to acknowledge the charge or give me a refund, promising me again that she would call after speaking to her bank. Two weeks later, she hasn't called, and I had to file a claim with my bank. In addition, the woman's daughter and dog are given free range in the salon. On my last visit the daughter was invited into the waxing room without my consent and proceeded to touch my face throughout the waxing process. Now, I do like kids and dogs, so I didn't complain. Nonetheless, I found it very unprofessional that a child was invited to take part in a spa service without asking consent of the customer. Finally, their waxer, Christine, is absent minded and frequently neglects customer's requests. On both occasions that I went to this salon she only halfway completed the waxing and I had to remind her multiple times that she wasn't done. I wish I could give this place zero stars for the very unprofessional way they treat customers. read more

I first began my Domani experience about a year ago. Why did I wait so long? I have been thoroughly pleased with the professionalism of all of the staff as well as their work. They are very empowering of women...They are sensitive to women's concerns, health problems and requests for their nails and skin treatments. They all listen to their clients!!
