If you come there with an openness and willingness to change your life this is the place to go. It's the in crowd of AA (Awesome and Amazing). It's a place where all races and religions are welcome. A place where you can find the God of your own understanding. The manager Joey Reilly (Pops) is as cool as they come as long as you come correct, and do the few simple things required. If you want to get clean and sober this is a great place to start. This place is freedom and open doors. Friends and family. OWN up to yourself and take responsibility for where you are now. Accept the things you cannot change and move forward with courage into the new you. Become accountable and transform yourself, you can make mistakes but trust Joey will always have your back as long as you man up to your mistakes. Drop the ego and let go of the fear. Iron sharpens iron. So go there and be steel, God will meet you where you're at if it's on the beautiful front porch or in the living room area with the really cool mural and masterpiece of urban art designed by Bro Bro Hopes, or near the fire place, or the refrigerator room which is a great place to chill out, or the back patio where you can have an open meeting and smoke, or bbq. You could catch some sun or take a dip in the pool, you could meet up with your higher power at the back patio covered table or you could hit the weights as you addictions doing pushups down the street. God will meet you there. It's conveniently located next to the best burger place in town (Bravo Burger) just a 3 minute walk away . There's a bus stop, a 7/11, carniceria, and the Triangle club AA is just about a mile away directly across from the LA county fairgrounds. You have close access to the 10 freeway with a suburban Foothill feel. Grocery stores, discount stores, the library and gyms are all close by. The owners Samantha and Peyton are both living testimony that you can positively change your life and succeed to make your dreams a reality.

I'm extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism at the NCADD office in Covina. This is…read morea place that's supposed to help people struggling with addiction, yet the way clients are treated--especially by the front desk--is completely unacceptable. Every interaction my husband has had with the receptionist, Dana, has been rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. As the first point of contact, her behavior sets the tone--and instead of support, it feels judgmental and degrading. Instead of taking any responsibility for her behavior, she turns situations around to make others seem like the problem, which only adds to the frustration. They are also very quick to take your money, but when it comes to answering questions about what you're paying for or getting basic help, they are unwilling and unhelpful. When I called on April 6th, simply to ask how to file a complaint (NOT for any personal or protected information), I was met with the same attitude. I was given false information, told I couldn't be helped, and then hung up on. I called back and spoke to a counselor, Ed, who was also unprofessional--making assumptions about my husband's behavior and failing to show the empathy expected in this field. People struggling with addiction are dealing with real-life stressors, and this program should be a place of support, not judgment. These programs are not cheap, and people are trying to get their lives back on track while balancing work, court requirements, and family responsibilities. Treating them like they don't matter defeats the entire purpose of what this organization claims to stand for. I don't understand how the director, Everett, allows this type of behavior from staff in an environment that is supposed to help people. Young adults also come here for guidance and support, and this is not the kind of treatment that encourages them to continue seeking help. Very disappointing experience. I truly hope management takes this seriously because this kind of environment does more harm than good.
