This ranch is so peaceful with a lot of room to take walks and explore. I had my dogs here with me and they had a blast running around with the other dogs and horses. I posted a few pictures i think by accident but they show how expansive the property is with a huge pasture, pool, basketball court, huge patio with a ping pong table. Charles is a great house manager and makes sure everyone keeps the inside clean. I prefer outside because it is so serene and love watching the horses out in the field and watching my dogs follow them around like they are the biggest dogs they've ever seen. This place transformed my life and since leaving, my whole life has changed for the better. The staff really cares and they do their very best to satisfy everyone's needs. Part 2 directed towards Cindi V. post: Cindi, Your post is based on second hand knowledge which is not true. I was a patient there for 60 days at the same time this was posted. I had the complete opposite experience, and I think you are just angry about the cost of rehab. Staff checks on patients every 30min to an hour so your accusations of men and women getting together is completely false. Also, the food is fresh store bought and you are expected to make yourself lunch. Breakfast is made for you by staff and dinner is catered in. This is rehab, not a 5 star hotel, and you can't expect staff to do every single little thing for you. No addict wants to be in rehab and whoever fed you this false information told you things that were far from the truth. Maybe instead of listening to the addict you sent to 10 acre ranch, you should talk to other clients that will tell you the real truth. If you want your addict to be waited on hand and foot in a resort setting, I suggest being locked in a room at the St Regis Hotel in Newport Beach accompanied by a paid private nurse specialized in substance abuse. This place is in cahoots with a place called Acceptance Detox their address is 18779 Palm St. in Fountain Valley, Ca. It's ran by a lady named Dienna Jadallah and at first I thought she was very helpful and thoughtful. She was until she secured the $1500.00 deposit. Then she became cold and distant. She also shoves her pro palestine anti Jew ideologies onto the vulnerable patients. I could live with that because I was trying to save my son's life. My son spent several weeks at Acceptance Detox. I was assured that he would have NO telephone access of any kind. It turns out that not only did he have cell phone access to the people that can harm him (the inmates are running the asylum) but the "recovering" staff was looking the other way while he carried on a compromising relationship with another patient. Also, I believe someone there was making marijuana available to him as his THC levels never went down. Then he moved to the 10 acre ranch and was immediately hit on by a homosexual counselor who had relapsed and was actively smoking meth while in charge of the ranch. Not only that but the place is filthy and has roaches and the swimming pool that you see in the pictures is stagnant and green. I know that all of this is true because I received a phone call from upper management apologizing to me for the indiscretions of the staff. Someone at one or both places lost their job. Now my son has left rehab early and I'm praying to God that he doesn't lose his life. If you're child is struggling with addiction do yourself a favor and do some research before sending them just anywhere. These two places are a nightmare. read more

My stay at 10 Acre Ranch was literally life-saving. They use a 'social-model' approach that taught me how to take care of myself, and really prepared me for living life sober outside of the treatment facility. I learned a sense of community and the staff was always compassionate, understanding and helpful, even when I was at my worst. It was rough at the beginning but they helped me believe in myself, which was probably the biggest factor in my willingness to change my life around! They helped me build the confidence that I could exist in the world, without using drugs and alcohol. The house was really nice, and well kept. I made friends while I was there, but most importantly they taught me how to care about myself again. That reward is priceless. 10 acer ranch has been a wonderful experience for my recovery. There was a time that I would have never gone to a rehab and been like I can do it until I got here. The staff here are so in to the job they make it fun and interesting to learn about our selfs. The care they gave me and everyone else was just straight up like I was part of a family.
