The drive up the scenic mountain road is worth the trip alone, with incredible views around every turn. Once you arrive, you're greeted by a peaceful alpine lake surrounded by towering peaks, evergreen forests, and fresh mountain air. The campground is well maintained and sits just steps from the lake, making it an ideal base for camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, or simply relaxing. We especially enjoyed walking along the shoreline and taking in the stunning scenery. If you visit during the summer, the surrounding meadows are filled with colorful wildflowers that make the landscape even more spectacular. The area is also a fantastic gateway into the Mount Naomi Wilderness, with several hiking trails nearby for anyone looking to explore even more of Utah's high country. Despite being a popular destination, it still feels peaceful and offers plenty of opportunities to slow down and enjoy nature. Whether you're planning a family camping trip, a weekend getaway, or just a scenic day drive, Tony Grove Lake is a destination you won't regret visiting. We'll definitely be back to spend more time exploring this beautiful corner of Northern Utah. Highly recommended! Check out our video on our socials @reessroots

They have hammock sites (where you could just set up hammocks to sleep in outside), teepees, RV sites, tent sites. Pretty much anything you could want. We went during the week and there was plenty of camping sites available. Though if it was full you would be right on top of your neighbors. Thankfully for us there was hardly anyone there. The camping area is not too far from the boat ramp. So it was easy to take our paddleboards and kayaks down and then drive back up and hit the water. The views here are so lovely. Really so unique. The reds and whites in the mountains and seeing all the rock layers. Make playing in the water pretty awesome. During the day there seemed to be a lot of users. Not as much as some of teh local lakes to me in Colorado but still busy. If you are wanting to rent a watercraft you would want to get there sooner rather than later. Not sure how their rental policy is working now as we brought our own kayaks and paddleboards this time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was calm and peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely come back.
