A huge thank you to our massage therapists, Elora and Amy, for an incredible couples massage. The experience was relaxing, rejuvenating, and exactly what we needed. Their professionalism, skill, and attention to detail made the service truly exceptional. We also want to recognize Maria for the wonderful pedicure she gave my husband. She was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job. The entire spa experience was impeccable from start to finish. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and grateful for such outstanding service. We highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing experience!

The reception team was absolutely amazing and fantastic. The massage therapist herself is why I rated it two stars. This was probably the worst massage I've ever had. She was nice but I'm not sure she's experienced or was not happy with a 24 hour notice for a massage. Her hands were calloused and rough. She kept whispering to herself the entire time. That was interesting and distracting. She didn't focus on getting the knots out. I have had plenty of massages and know my stuff. This therapist didn't introduce herself so not sure who I had but it wasn't great. I know she could feel the knots as she would hesitate and then move on. Pretty disappointed in my experience. The reception staff was the best.

I'm sure the wax itself is fine; it was last year. I presume they have a lot of employee turnover as the Aesthetician saw her tip walk away when I walked out the door. Silly policies.

I recently treated myself to a day at the Ritz-Carlton Spa, and it was a truly lovely experience…read more From the moment I arrived, the staff proved why their reputation for service is well-earned. Exceptional Service The highlights started before the massage even began. I realized I'd left my phone in my car, and the valet went above and beyond to retrieve it and bring it directly to me in the spa. Every team member I encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. The Treatment I booked a 100-minute Light Swedish Massage, and it was absolute bliss. The Scent: The essential oils were high-quality and smelled fabulous. The Enhancements: I opted for the CBD add-on and pain-relieving oils--well worth the extra cost for the added relaxation. Pro-Tip: Choose Your Appointment Wisely One thing to note when booking: there are two options--one that includes a facility tour and one that is mostly self-guided. My Mistake: I chose the self-guided option. Since it had been a while since my last visit, I found myself a bit lost navigating the locker rooms and amenities. Next time, I'll definitely sign up for the guided tour to get my bearings! Post-Spa Pampering After the treatment, I rehydrated with some refreshing watermelon-infused chilled water before heading to The Davenport Lounge. Capping off the afternoon with charcuterie and champagne was the perfect "after-spa" treat. Verdict: Aside from my own confusion navigating the spa, it was a wonderful day. I'll be back--but I'm taking the tour next time!

The amenities in the lounge area of the spa are amazing. My favorite room was the steam room with essential oils. It's like you are stepping into another dimension of tranquility as you detox the day away and take in the invigorating scents. They also had a dry sauna, a pool, and extremely neat and clean changing room/locker room and shower area. They have everything you need in there from tooth brushes, tooth paste, mouth wash, cotton swabs, face toilettes, etc. My favorite surprise was the ice cold face towels for after a session in the dry sauna. I received the hot stone massage and nourish glow treatment and was absolutely blown away. I wish I could remember the name of my masseuse, but I know he's on my account. I will be requesting him every time! That was the best massage of my life and I certainly was glowing! I was not expecting the skilled massage because in luxury hotels, the spa treatment tends to focus on the experience more than anything, so to have a luxurious experience and therapeutic massage made this my favorite spa experience thus far. They have an area next to the gift shop that offers food and snacks. This was closed by the time I was finished with my appointment because it was later in the day, but I was shocked to see this offered. They offer a discount to locals on certain days of the week as well!

He explained how things would flow during my time there. He guided me to the sauna room first and explained how to enter the sauna capsule. I was given space and time to undress and enter the capsule. He knocked and entered the room as he stated he would just to make sure that I was correctly in the capsule. I was not lol. So I'm glad he came in to correct. The sauna was at 99 degrees I believe an it got toasty quick. There is a clock on the wall that you can see. About halfway through, I got too hot (I'm not a regular sauna user so this may be a newbie thing) so I removed myself from the capsule to cool off a bit. I later got back in with about 10 min left on the clock. The timer went off and I grabbed my things and walked out to lobby area to go to the float room. Once in the float room, he explained that the pod would fill with water and that the lights would go out. In the room is a floatation pillow for your head to use if you prefer. There's also a shower in the room for after your float. They also provide ear plugs and Vaseline to apply if you've got any nicks and scratches to avoid irritation from the salt water. The actual float was nice. The pod stays open the whole time and there's ambient music playing in the beginning to relax you. The total darkness was fine for me but may be difficult for others. I floated on my back initially and kind of just let the water carry me. I switched to a stomach float later on, using the flotation pillow under my chin. It was really nice to relax and bounce off the pod walls without feeling the need to course correct. My only concern was the airflow in the float room. I'm not sure if there was any or if it was just warm due to the water in the pod (the water is lukewarm btw). Maybe I was just overthinking. Overall it was a nice relaxing experience!

Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by Cecil. He was very friendly and informative. The establishment immediately soothed me with it's peaceful aura. I visited for the flotation pod. I was then set up with the float room. He explained the flotation process and set proper expectations. The flotation experience was super relaxing. I was able to meditate the entire time and left feeling like I lost weight. It is a very relaxing experience. They offer many other services, such as massages. I look forward to visiting again to try out their massages. I also look forward to more flotation experiences.

When we got off of the riverboat, we searched for a nearby pedicure and saw good things about RIverside Day Spa. It's a small salon, 2 manicure tables, and maybe 4 pedicure chairs, and a little older, but the services are what we are focused on! We were able to book for 3 of the $55 mani/pedi special about 90 minutes out. The techs let us know that there were only 2 people at the salon, but were able to rotate between us and we all felt pampered. They had the nice massage chairs, and the techs were efficient. There are a lot of add on services, and they did push full massages a lot, both during booking and after we arrived, and there were upcharges for gel and gel soak off, which is standard, but my total was closer to $80 than $55. Overall, this was a nice end to our vacation!

We ended up negotiating down to $50 per person but this was something we could have done better in our hotel room. I do not recommend this place at all.
