For 20+ years, I've been receiving massages, so when I say she is one of the BEST, I don't mean it lightly. Ms. Moore was kind enough to fit me in on a Sunday when I reached out to her on Friday, hoping that I could be seen as quickly as possible. After suffering a severe leg injury 7 weeks ago and practically being on bedrest this entire time, I decided it was time to treat myself and get some of my knots worked out. Ms. Moore asked what areas to focus on, then led me to the massage room. Right off the waiting room in her little cottage was where she led me. I was impressed at how large the room was. I'm not a fan of the tiny, cramped rooms that I've had other massages in. This is where my unbelievably incredible massage took place. Even though Ms. Moore had asked about my "problem areas" beforehand, she was so knowledgeable and in-tune with my muscles that she needed no direction whatsoever. Basically, she is magic, and her hands are like magnets that are drawn to tight muscles, knots, and pressured nerves. I had asked for a deep-tissue tissue massage, with increased pressure and, boy, did I get what I paid for! She didn't hold back one bit, always making sure that I was comfortable and aware of what, exactly, was taking place right under the skin. I can go on and on about her for days... The state of euphoria that I was in once we were done is something I'll never forget. Best of all, she was wonderfully quiet throughout our session, allowing me to focus on my breath and the calming music playing in the background. So, if you're on the hunt for a massage that will leave you spellbound, call Ms. Moore and head to her office at the end of Old Fannin Road, nar the reservoir. During tense times like these, we could all use 60 or 90 minutes of pure relaxation. Best $100 (for a 90-minute massage) that I've ever spent...as I've spent much, much more elsewhere and left with nothing but feelings of disappointment. P.S. She also makes house calls!
