I booked us both 60-min CBD massages to celebrate. We were both so cold during our massages. I literally had goose bumps the entire time. When I brought it up, they told me "the temperature is set." It didn't even feel like the person was massaging me either, and my partner said the same thing. It was so disappointing. I asked for more pressure but got nothing. I get massaged often, and it was the only time I've ever considered getting up and leaving a massage. The spa itself is located underground in an extremely cold basement corner of the hotel. It should not even be advertised as a "spa" because it is so unappealing. The floors are concrete, and the rooms appear sterile with overhead lighting, like a medical office. The linens and towels are very low-quality. It should've cost half as much money. $180 for a 60-min CBD massage here where the CBD lotion isn't even a legit one. They honestly should be embarrassed. You can literally get a better massage anywhere else in Palm Springs for less money and also have other spa amenities like sauna and day passes. On top of it all, the spa is not owned or operated by the Saguaro Hotel even though it is located inside and advertised as "in-house" on their website. At the end, the masseuses were telling us they "have a hard time getting paid by the front desk" so not to add gratuity onto the room charge but to Venmo them directly. Doesn't sound like they have a good working relationship with the hotel. I tried to reach back out to the spa about my partner and my bad experience and ended up getting ghosted. Horrible customer service.
