While helping another customer, the employee loudly and aggressively asked me, "Is your skin burning?" I said no, and she immediately responded, "Then you can't use it." I explained that I have really bad eczema, but she continued telling me that I couldn't use the product. The way she spoke to me, especially so loudly in front of other customers, made me extremely uncomfortable, so I ended up walking out. A group of women who witnessed the interaction actually followed me outside and apologized to me for how I had been treated. The whole interaction was extremely uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. She also can't ever take accountability as you can see from other comments as well.

Anyway, Sami referred me to Camille who also works there, Idyllwild Day Spa (Custom Hair Design-By Camille), for my super complex hair processing. I am sooooo great-full to both of them! Camille has made me so very happy with the results of my hair. Camille is truly an artiest when it comes to hair color and makes sure what ever product is used or processing is done that there is the least amount of hair damage as possible. Both my husband and my 25 year old son has gone to Camille for their hair cuts and were absolutely happy with the results and will be going back. It is a small shop with only the two working in there at separate times so you get one on one attention. It makes me feel very special. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of room to move around. They is complementary coffee, tea, water and you may even find yourself snacking on something they have set out. Love that these are handmade and honestly makes it even more special knowing the ingredients are clean and such a perfect gift if you ask me. Love that they have different brands that are clean and simple as well they had these tablets that are toothpaste and mouthwash and snagged a few of those. I also loved that they had a refillable station of soaps, detergent and other fun stuff that can be used around the house. My kind store for sure. The day before my appointment, I called to confirm the details and learned that they do not actually offer that service. Had I been given accurate information from the beginning, I would not have waited a week for an appointment that could never meet my needs. What disappointed me most wasn't the initial mistake--errors can happen. It was how the situation was handled. Rather than apologizing for the misinformation or trying to make it right, the gentleman I spoke with argued with me and insisted I must have been communicating with AI rather than an actual person. I am certain I spoke with a person. Our original conversation required human judgment and interaction--far beyond what an AI system could have provided. Even after I explained this and shared the information I had been given, he refused to take any responsibility and instead repeatedly shifted the blame to me as the customer.
