I went to Serenity Nails with a friend. When we got there on a Thursday afternoon, it wasn't busy. We got right in and we had some trouble communicating what we wanted. We wanted mani/pedi's and wanted the manicures first. Fortunately, one of the people came out who spoke some English. They refuse their tools and I am not crazy about the little disinfectant machines. I'm skeptical as to how clean they actually get. The place I normally go uses brand new packs of tools each time and sends them home with you. The guy did an ok job on my manicure, I had some issues with how he was filing my nails, and they still weren't totally the way In wanted them, but I gave up. The pedicure was fine. He did a pretty good job. My friend got her cuticles cut on several fingers by the guy who did hers. I would have been very unhappy about that. There are so many nice cleaner places to go in the area that I really can't recommend going here. read more

This place is awful. Sure they were competent enough to do a decent gel mani and pedi, but the experience was anything but relaxing. My technician was rough with everything he did, and it seemed like he had an attitude. He wasn't in anyway friendly, didn't even greet me to say which seat to sit in for my pedicure. I was so glad I was wearing a mask because another technician sprayed Lysol so liberally with me sitting in the adjacent seat that I would've choked if I hadn't had a barrier. It was just a bad experience. Very rude. I do not recommend this nail spa. I'll be blunt, they were much friendly with the white customers. read more

This experience was absolutely horrible. I had came here before and was charged a extra 5 dollars to my card and called. And the lady doing my nails was being very rude and aggressive I asked her for french tips and was asking about how I could get them done and the prices and she started yelling and being very disrespectful to me she she never once changed the file or cleaned anything.she continued to be very disrespectful towards me. I even traveled out of stat and had to get a nail fixed and the nail technician said to tell my nail technician they are amazing because they had a hard time matching the stripes that had been hand painted on. read more

First, the good part...they are open on Sunday. That's where the good stops. After two and half hours I'm still not done. The nail tech cut the skin on every single one of my nails, my toes look terrible and for some reason my hands had to soak in a cuticle oil/lotion mixture in a ziplock bag. I had to rip the ziploc baggies off my hands, not because it was so bizarre but because my fingers were burning from to where the guy sliced my fingers open. Also, the tools were just laying on the floor, and when he went to take the shellac off of my fingers, he used his own fingernails to do it. I will not be back here. read more

Horrible experience. I got a regular manicure and daughter got acrylics. Skin was cut on multiple fingers. And she filed my nails AFTER polish. Mine lasted about 2 Days, and had damage to my nails. Daughters nails popped off and had damage to her nails. Definitely will not be back. read more

No wait at all and I didn't have an appointment. They did a great job with mani and pedi for me and pedi for my 6 yr old. VERY happy with my nails and will definitely be back. I also appreciate that if you want to tip them, you can do so with your credit/debit card. Another local nail salon does a great job, but if you pay with plastic, you can't tip that way. You have to use the ATM machine in the salon. Nice that's handy, but I'm not paying a foreign ATM fee for just the tip. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. My daughter and I went in today, I was getting a fill in and she was getting a gel pedi. They are not gentle AT ALL a couple of my fingers were bleeding. My daughter's pedi was HORRIBLE!!!! The gel was thick and on her skin, which made it peel off. Instead of properly taking the gel off her toes to begin with, they just used the drill to grind it off. They clipped her toe nails so much that she was bleeding. All in all a HORRENDOUS experience! read more

First time here and came for a pedicure. The wait was shorter than a nearby salon -- about 10 min. Prices are much lower than other salons. Pedi was fine but when he polished my nails he accidentally swiped the big toe with his hand. He tried to fix it but it looked like a blob. I asked how long it would take to redo that toe (I had already been there an hour) because I had my own polish and could have opted to do it myself at home. He didn't respond (there was a significant language barrier) and took all polish off the toe and started over, fanning it between coats with a piece of laminated paper. This didn't work out either. The polish was a very light shade so it showed brush marks easily. A woman took over and tried to fix it but she too took all polish off and started over. It looked fine when she was done. I asked for the drying drops several times but no one responded. I was then seated with my toes under a "drying light" for about 25 min before leaving. It's hot and humid in this salon. The people who work there said it's like that all the time. They said they have A/C "bit it's extra hot today". There's a standing fan blowing across the pedicure stations. I had sweat dripping down my forehead and the back of my neck when I finally left after being there 90 min. The prices are low but you get what you pay for. read more

The person who did my nails cut ALL of my cuticles pretty badly.. he didn't seem to care that he was making my nails bleed. I got acrylic nails & they are very uneven, some nails are SUPER thick & the paint job is also uneven. This also took about 2 hours.. I had high hopes & came out disappointed with how it all turned out. read more
