There wasn't anyone in here when I arrived but I wanted to give it a chance bc of the location. The girls did my gel mani and regular pedicure at the same time which was so much more time efficient for me. Both my mani and pedi look perfect! My pedi included a really long massage and a lot of attention to detail which was awesome for just a regular pedi. The girls were also very nice and I felt very comfortable the whole time. THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THE HELL THEYRE DOING AND I DOUBT THEY EVEN CARE ABIUT ANYTHING BUT MONEY. I HAVE A FUNGUS NAIL INFECTION BECAUSE OF THIS PLACE. MY NATURAL NAIL IS YELLOW AND LIFTING OFF THE NATURAL BED. THEY EVEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY I HAD WASTED THEIR TIME WHEN I. AM. THE. ONE. WHO. WASTED. TIME. AND. MONEY. I assume it was his daughter behind the register; she was only around 8 or 9. Super cute and didnt disturb the customers. This is where it dropped from there. There were only two nail techs for hands working, and the place is the only salon around still open on a Sunday. Wait times were pretty dramatic, although we didnt wait that long at all. However, there was a (albeit, adorable) infant in the building walking around in a walker. Im not sure why they had a child under a year old in the place, but whatever. I asked the woman if she could do designs, she said yes. What o wanted was a manicure with fake tips and polish. What i got was a barely there manicure (didnt even push my cuticles back nor did she trim them!) with fake tips and ACYRLIC, and what looks like an example of a Pinterest fail. At no point did I say i wanted acrylic, and at no ppint did she ask if i wanted acrylics. I didnt evn notice until i looked down and she was putting huge beads of acyrlic on my nails. Then when it came time for the design, turns out she didnt even know how to do it, switched me over to another tech and then that nail tech did such a shoddy job that my nails look like something i could have done myself. I hate the design and the work is just uneven and not at all what i wanted. If you cant do it then just say you cant do it; dont tell me you can and do a bad job just to say you followed through. Now heres the thng. I probably could have dealt with the crappy design if my nails werent just SO terribly uneven and thick. Im talking super thick...like my apex was so tall that it didnt even look normal. A couple days after having had them done, i noticed that there were LOADS of bubbles in the acrylic too...and the woman hadnt even trimmed the excess acrylic off the sides, plus even missed some color on the sides! I emded up going home and filing them down myself. They also cut my cousins cuticles TWICE during her very basic shellac manicure. Go to Queen Nails in Old Taylor Mill if you want great nails and great service. Ask for Lily. I wont be back here and regret going in. To those reviews that put down this salon for having their small children in the salon, please. Are you seriously that snobbish? This is a hard working family and the services they provide are exceptional. Go to your Mitchell's or any other place that you can pay the highest prices for less service. I have been coming here since they opened. The prices are very fair and the time and the quality of the services provide is excellent! They take their time and really do a fantastic job of removing excess cuticles and calluses. My pedicures last for weeks. All of the employees here do a great job. Never disappointed! read more

I have heard good things about this place and finally decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Not only were they quick, they did a great job with even better pricing. This is my new favorite nail salon. I have seen a lot of reviews about kids running around and I saw none of that. They were professional and clean, especially during COVID. Ok i took my 16 year old daughter in there and ripped her off . the lady put the tips on then start filing away!! She didnt even put the harding stuff on top i asked why wasent she didn't that and she looked at me like i was crazzzy so she filed and filed and grabbed the nail polish i said arent u skipping a step and i cant speak there language i just had to walk out because by now im pissed i have been doing my nails for 20 years i no the steps my daughter lost a nail the next day i asked how much did she charge u 40 dollars people and she just lost another nail so i dont recommend this place to no one unless u want to get ripped off!!!!! I suppose being a male going to a nail salon means not receiving good service. Came here with my mom and aunt as a treat for them (my aunt's recommendation) when I typically go to Spruce in OTR. Anyway, my toe nails are jagged, my skin wasn't exfoliated and I walked out with dead skin hanging off of my heels, AND she didn't even take off the bit of polish I still had on some of my toes and simply painted over it. I understand there's a pandemic going on yada yada but this is the second time I received service like this. It's just another one of those cheap salons with employees whom I doubt have licensing. Also, their annoying kids run around the salon. If you're going to be a cheap person who doesn't spend their money wisely, this is the salon for you. My gut told me not to go here and just go to my regular nail salon but I figured I'd try them out they are close and convenient for me....i should have trusted my gut!! I like to get the SNS it's my favorite. I like that it's not bulky, last a long time, and looks beautiful but 5 mins after leaving here my nails are already messed up not to mention my finger tips are the same color as my nails and they look so bulky!! She didn't even do half of the steps my regular nail salon does. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and am now gonna have to spend double to go get my nails redone the right way. Always late! They let their kids run all over the salon. Nails look good if you are able to tolerate the lateness and kids.

The place is new and was very clean. There was a wait, but we were updated on the time left frequently. While I was getting my nails painted everything was good. My nail technician was a little distracted talking to the worker next to us, but besides that it was all good. Once it got to the second coat I thought I was finished, but she then continued to put on a third coat. I payed and gave a tip. I wish I would have payed more attention to the quality because if I did I would not have given a tip. There was polish all over the skin around my nails and the polish is so thick it sticks out on the sides of my nails. It definitely was not worth the $20 for just a gel paint; I was very disappointed in the job that was done. read more
